Abstract: In an apparatus for carrying out a continuous wrapping hydromassage over the whole body of a person only in one direction--of the type comprising, in a shower cabin, means rotating about an axis substantially coinciding with that of the body to be massaged, ejecting at least one water spout distributed according to a cylindrical helix having the same axis--said rotating means consist of a plurality of arc-shaped tube sections provided with nozzles ejecting a flat and divergent spout, said tube sections being supported in a horizontal or inclined position by a straight vertical tube feeding sid nozzles and being mounted and guided so as to rotate about said axis.
Abstract: A portable cooling and refreshment shower assembly including dismantlable pipe sections supporting and interconnected with a showerhead structure at its upper end and supported in its vertical orientation by radially extending base pipe sections. The base pipe sections are dismantlable from the pipe sections supporting the showerhead. A water supply connection is provided the shower assembly and water fills the base pipe sections to provide ballast to the shower structure during operation of the shower.
Abstract: A wall connecting piece for fitting to a concealed water main and for the connection of a hand-held shower hose contains a casing, which can be connected to the water main and on which is provided a connection for the shower hose. The casing contains a retaining head, which acts on the hand-held shower grip and which is pivotable about an axis passing through the casing.
Abstract: An eye wash fountain device in which eye and face wash nozzles are attached to a unit which is separate from and removably attached to a sleeve or conduit on an adapter for attachment to water supply, said adapter being provided with a valve means to divert normal water flow to said sleeve or conduit and to said nozzles. The nozzles are provided with a special type of perforated disc which serves to modify and control the spray obtained.
Abstract: A sunbathing apparatus comprising a generally rectangular flexible sheet having an elongated flexible water conduit integrally attached to a marginal side edge thereof, the conduit and the marginal side edge having a plurality of spaced concentric perforations therealong, the perforations positioned toward the upper surface of the sheet member, and a valve for coupling the conduit to an operative supply of water and controlling the rate of flow of water provided the conduit whereby water flowing into the conduit and out through the perforations is directed upwardly and inwardly of the marginal side edge of the sheet member so as to direct a fine spray of water onto the upper surface of the sheet member.
Abstract: An adjustable shower head assembly is provided which includes a minimum of parts for enabling the adjustment of a shower head to accommodate persons of varying stature. A housing including a front panel, having a slot therein, is provided along which a conventional-type shower head is adjustably mounted therealong, the position of the shower head being maintained at any preselected position along the slot by a flexible hose which is contained within the housing by interior surfaces of the housing sides. The interior surfaces, in effect, provide abutment and a guide means for restricting the shape and position of the hose within the housing. In addition, the force of water through the hose during operation of the shower head exerts sufficient pressure against the housing sides to stabilize the shower head along the slot, despite the forces generated against the shower head by exiting water.
Abstract: A water distribution system for a shower enclosure (1) including longitudinal water channels (20-24), each having an internal passage (36), and covering clips (60,70) secured to each of a pair of water channels at a corner therebetween.
Abstract: Water for bathing is sprayed from a hollow plate having a series of internal channels and a corresponding series of rows of openings from the channels through one face of the plate.
Abstract: An improved shower-cabin comprising a base provided with a drain for evacuating waste water, and a heat recuperator incorporated into this base. The recuperator comprises a waste water tank connected to the cabin drain and a coil mounted in this tank. The heat of the waste water passing through the tank may be recovered for heating or pre-heating an incoming cold water flowing through the coil.
Abstract: The dispensing unit comprises a water dispensing element supported by a holder element adapted for wall mounting, between the water dispensing element and the holder element there being provided a dovetail connection system comprising a male element slidably engageable in a female member, the latter being defined by a shaped groove gradually narrowing in a parallel direction to its major dimension direction.
Abstract: A plumbing device stores one or more additives, and allows injection and mixing of such additives into the water stream delivered to a plumbing fixture such as a shower head or faucet. The design of the passage for the water stream provides a pressure differential sufficient to draw the additive into the water stream, while check valves are used to prevent backflow of additives. A mixing chamber, with an impeller element, mixes the injected material with the water stream. Metering valves may be used to control the amount of additive dispensed.
Abstract: The Sitdown Shower for Children enhances the capability of the standard bathtub by allowing a child to be showered in a sitting or lying posture in the middle of the tub. The shower is attached to the bathtub's tap by means of a sleeve adapter which fits in a glove-like manner over the downward projection of the tap. Rigid and self-supporting tubing extends from the adapter and projects the shower water to a moveable shower head connected to the far end of the rigid tubing. The lateral inclination of the shower head is slightly above the tap. In addition, horizontal and vertical suction cups are selectively located to brace the rigid tubing and provide added support for the tubing. The bathtub's hot and cold shutoff valves control the shower water and allow the temperature of the water to be adjusted.

Abstract: A portable shower system which when disassembled utilizes its own shower curtain, and base for securing other parts of the system into a compartment in its base so that the entire system can be stored as a single unit, without accidental separation and loss of its various parts.
Abstract: An adjustable shower and massage apparatus adapted to be connected to water systems generally associated with bathtubs and stall showers. The apparatus is formed with a plurality of interconnected pipe members, the leading pipe member being attached to the water system and the trailing or end pipe being affixed to a stationary member such as a wall. The pipe members are interconnected by a plurality of universal joints which allow the contiguous pipe members and a connected shower-spray head to be positioned at any selected angular position, whereby water can be directed to any part of an individual's body, the apparatus including a handle for positioning the pipe members.
Abstract: A shower device has a bar on which slide a spray head support and a manually operable grip. At least two continuous chains, one connected to the grip and another to the spray head support, pass over a respective pulley mounted at each end of the bar. At one end of the bar the pulleys of two adjacent chains are connected to rotate with one another and the pulleys at the other end of the bar rotate independently with one of the pulleys at one end of the bar over which passes the chain for the spray head having a larger diameter to vary the ratio of movement between the grip and the head.
Abstract: Apparatus and method for facilitating the washing of a person's hands to achieve surgical cleanliness in a simple, effective manner. A transparent hollow sphere has a pair of hand openings formed in it, with a pair of pulsating water jet spray heads mounted on the sphere to direct intersecting sprays of water onto a person's hands placed through the hand openings in the sphere. One spray head is mounted in substantially the same horizontal plane as the hand openings, and between them, and the other spray head is mounted in substantially the same vertical plane as the one spray head, about 60.degree. to 135.degree. around the circumference of the sphere with respect to the one spray head. By operating a foot pedal, water is delivered under pressure to the spray heads which pulse the water onto the person's hands, the water then draining through an opening in the bottom of the sphere to be sewered. A soap dispenser may be provided within the sphere.
