  • Patent number: 8037558
Abstract: A wash basin drain structure includes a tightening assembly, a control rod assembly, a drain pipe, and a plug. A threaded top ring of the fastening assembly relative to a threaded annular seat is screwed reversely to push an anti-leakage washer of the drain pipe upward, so that the threaded top ring and a washer are against the bottom of the wash basin and resilient portions of the resilient ring engages with a non-slip portion of the drain pipe. When a threaded fixing member in a threaded hole of a fixing seat of the control rod assembly is screwed inward, the end of the threaded fixing member will hold against the body of the drain pipe and pull an inner pipe portion of the fixing seat to seal and engage with an insertion hole of the drain pipe. A magnetic end head of a link rod of the control rod assembly is attracted to connect with a magnetic portion of a plug body of the plug to act as a lever. The present invention can be assembled with ease.

  • Patent number: 7836527
Abstract: A conduit for communication of a pressurized water or fluid supply to a counter top appliance above a sink having a faucet providing water to the sink. The device features an elongated rod having an axial passageway for communication of a fluid when engaged through the drain rod aperture of a faucet. The rod has an exterior circumference sized to translate in the aperture and operate the drain closure apparatus on the sink. A pulsating dental cleaning appliance or water dispenser or knob are engageable to the top end of the rod which is adapted on a bottom end under the sink to engage with a pressurized fluid supply. The device may be provided for retrofit through existing faucets by replacing the drain rod, or with new faucets to provide a route for pressurized fluid above a counter top without having to drill holes in the counter top.

  • Patent number: 6675407
Abstract: A solenoid activated bathtub drain closure is associated with the bathtub having a bottom with a drain opening therein. A vertically movable drain stopper is mounted over the drain opening. A drain pipe is connected to the drain opening and is conventionally positioned below the drain opening. A solenoid having a movable plunger is located outside the drain pipe and is preferably mounted on the drain pipe. Linkage is secured to the plunger and extends from the plunger into the drain pipe and terminates at an inner end underneath the drain opening. The linkage is so configured that when the plunger is moved by the solenoid from a first position to a second position, the inner end of the linkage will engage the stopper and raise it with respect to the drain opening to permit fluid in the bathtub to flow by gravity.

  • Patent number: 6367102
Abstract: A drain assembly mountable in a drain opening of a wash basin includes a movable stopper guide that can be used during installation to align the drain flange to the drain body from above the sink. The stopper guide supports at an upper end a stopper for closing the drain opening. The stopper guide has an axial opening accommodating an axial fastener joining the drain flange and drain body to the basin. The stopper guide also has downwardly extending legs defining an axial slot extending from the axial opening for accommodating cross-members extending laterally between each of the drain flange and drain body. The drain flange can be aligned to the drain body by engaging the drain flange cross-member and rotating it as needed. A method of installing a drain assembly to a basin is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6308351
Abstract: An “Electromatic Pop Up Drain” for electronically raising and lowering the pop up drain plug in lavatory sinks. The “Electromatic Pop Up Drain” has infrared sensors as a triggering device, ac-dc electric motor as the actuating device, positioning and connective linkage. The user actuates the drain plug by passive hand motion detected by the infrared sensors. This detection device triggers a sequence of events that leads to the closing of the drain plug. A second detection of hand movement by the infrared sensors cause the drain plug to open allowing for the water or liquid to drain freely from the sink.
