  • Publication number: 20080301871
Abstract: A food waste disposer mounting assembly uses a stainless steel sink-flange with a screw-on collar system as a primary mounting system to a sink. By connecting the stainless steel sink-flange with a bayonet locking reed collar and screw-on nut collar, a vibration and sound transmission path to the sink is both reduced and rendered indirect. Incorporation of reed switches with a stopper and magnets can modify the unit for use as a batch-feed disposer.

The present modular assembly includes a single, central faucet and mixer control valve, with all water lines extending through the central sink top passage and the left and right sink top passages remaining free of any water supply lines. The present assembly makes use of these otherwise unused passages by having left and right faucet base passages which align with the corresponding sink top passages, and serve to secure the faucet assembly to the sink top and accept various accessories removably installed therein. The accessories may comprise a liquid soap dispenser pump, a retractable spray nozzle, or other device(s) as desired. A cap(s) may be installed at the accessory passage(s) when no accessory or accessories are installed.

  • Patent number: 6691338
Abstract: Systems and method for providing automated control over both water and temperature and pressure for a plurality of shower heads or other sources of water. The automated systems and methods for providing automated control over both water pressure and temperature make use of three distinct modules which comprise an input and display unit, and electronic processing unit, and the mechanical plumbing control unit. The electronic processing unit receives signals from the input and display unit and translates the received signals into the appropriate control signals for the mechanical plumbing control unit. A user is able to control the output water temperature from each of the shower heads or water sources as well as the individual water pressure from each of the shower heads or water sources. In the preferred exemplary embodiment, the housing of containing the electrical mechanical elements of the system is dimensioned such that the housing will advantageously fit within the cavity of the typical wall.

  • Patent number: 6678903
Abstract: A spray handle support assembly includes a support sleeve with outer threads and a support collar. An installation nut that includes inner threads engages the outer threads of the support sleeve. The inner threads of the installation nut include a ramped surface that allows for the inner threads to ride over the outer threads of the support sleeve. The installation nut is then able to pull upward over the support sleeve to engage a bottom surface of the installation deck. Support sleeve includes a flange in a trim collar that engages an upper surface of the deck. The installation nut is pulled upward to engage the bottom surface of the deck and secure the support sleeve in place.

  • Patent number: 6671898
Abstract: The invention relates to a water fitting including a pipe having at least one water hook-up that is connected to a valve. A housing is detachably connected to the pipe and has a spout line that, when installed, is connected to the outlet of the valve. A screw secures the housing on the pipe. A sensing device is fitted inside the pipe. When the screw is removed, said sensing device automatically closes the valve and blocks the same in the closed position. This reliably prevents water from flowing out when the housing is disassembled.
