Abstract: The disclosed invertible structures rely on combinations of translational movements to effect inversion. An exemplary invertible structure includes a track operable to be slidably coupled to a connector element of a longitudinal structure. In an embodiment, the connector element may include at least two connectors at least partially disposed in a slot defined in the track, which may have a plurality of translational axes for translational movements of the connectors of the longitudinal structure that would effect the inversion of the longitudinal structure.

Abstract: A device for continuously or intermittently displaying graphic material, such as advertisements on the side or rear of a moving vehicle. The vehicle is provided with various sensors which determine the speed of the vehicle as well as whether the vehicle has been parked for a predetermined period of time. Based upon the output of the sensors, the movement of scrolled display containing graphics such as advertisements would be controlled.

Abstract: A display apparatus is provided which can display different text/image information depending on the viewing angle and the viewer, display a high reality three-dimensional image viewable from any direction and realize stereoscopic viewing without glasses or the like. The display apparatus includes a display unit having a view angle-limiting filter on its surface, a rotary mechanism to rotate the display unit and a control unit which implements control so that when the display unit, rotated by the rotary mechanism, is faced to each of plural directions, the display unit displays a different text/image content associated with the direction.

Abstract: A puzzle piece displaying apparatus for displaying a plurality of puzzle pieces for facilitating assembly of the pieces. The puzzle piece displaying apparatus includes a pair of upstanding leg assemblies and a rotating assembly for holding a plurality of puzzle pieces. The rotating assembly comprises a plurality of plates for removably securing a plurality of pieces to the plates. A frame supports the plates. The frame includes an end member, a shaft, at least one support member and a plurality of mounting members.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for vehicle identification placards is provided that can be attached to the flat inner surface of a vehicle sun visor. The placard mount optionally includes a retainer body that is pivotally mounted to a base and provides a structure through which the placard is attached to the base. The pivotal mounting of the placard and placard retainer to the base allows the placard to be moved from a visible to a non-visible position simply by rotating the retaining body around the pivotal mount. To display the placard, the user simply lowers the sun visor which contains the mounting apparatus attached to a back side of the visor and then rotates the placard from its stored horizontal position downward to a vertical display position. In this position the placard is clearly visible from the exterior, such as for communicating to the authorities that the vehicle is properly parked in space, such as a handicapped space, where only authorized placard displaying vehicles should be parked.

Abstract: A wind driven sign or advertising display comprising a plurality of generally flat panels each having an inner side edge that is received within a radial recess in a central support member. Each panel is composed of a corrugated plastic material including a pair of outer faces and a plurality of parallel ribs that connect the faces together. Graphics can be applied to one or more of the faces of the panels. The central support member is mounted for rotation with respect to a fixed outer object, so that the sign can be rotated about the mounting by the wind or air currents.

Abstract: A storage container includes a base housing having first and second containers mounted to the housing. The base housing includes a cavity therewithin, having a rotatable dial projecting through a first side wall of the housing. The dial includes sequential digits visible through a window in a top wall of the housing, wherein sequential days are counted relative to contact lenses, and particularly disposable contact lenses stored within the first and second containers.
