Abstract: A label image generation device generates label images corresponding to labels for creating composite labels. In each composite label, a label created from a first printing medium and a label created from a second printing medium are overlaid. A control device generates first and second label images to be formed on the first printing medium, and a third label image to be formed on the second printing medium. The control device displays a first composite image and a second composite image. In the first composite image, the first and third label images are overlaid. In the second composite image, the second and third label images are overlaid. The control device controls a printing mechanism to perform printing for creating the first number of first labels, the second number of second labels, and the third number of third labels. The third number depends on both the first and second numbers.

Abstract: A wine cabinet, which comprises a main cabinet body, and further comprises a transparent display cabinet body arranged at a top end of the main cabinet body, a control mechanism, a driving mechanism connected with the control mechanism, and an automatic lifting and sliding mechanism connected with the driving mechanism. A display chamber of the display cabinet body is separated from a storage chamber of the main cabinet body by a laminated plate, the control mechanism, the driving mechanism and the automatic lifting and sliding mechanism are arranged in the storage chamber, and an opening is arranged at a side of the top end of the display cabinet body. The opening is covered with a transparent movable cover plate and the automatic lifting and sliding mechanism is connected with the movable cover plate.

Abstract: An interactive display module operative to be inserted over an existing tiered greeting card display fixture. The interactive display may contain one or more spinners which are able to spin about a horizontal axis. Each spinner contains many sides or facets, each side or facet containing a removable caption strip thereon containing various words, phrases, graphics or other printed matter. The use of two or more spinners allow for the random creation or phrases, graphics, etc. that are intended to provide the consumer with a fun way to interact with the greeting card fixture.

The touch layers and the reflective projection film are sequentially disposed on the substrate, and the touch layers are located between the substrate and the reflective projection film. Each of the touch layers comprises a base layer and an electrode pattern disposed on the base layer. Each electrode pattern includes a plurality of electrode line sets. Each electrode line set includes a plurality of electrode lines and a plurality of electrode segments. The electrode lines are arranged to be parallel to each other. An included angle between each of the electrode segments and one of the electrode lines is an acute angle. Two ends of each electrode segment are connected to the corresponding electrode lines. In addition, a touch projection system including the touch projection screen and a projection device is provided.

Abstract: A model for practicing transabdominal pre-peritoneal (TAPP) and total extraperitoneal (TEP) approaches for laparoscopic hernia repairs is provided. The model simulates an insufflated space between the abdominal muscles and peritoneum. A spring layer may be incorporated to provide a realistic resiliency to the model while in the simulated insufflated configuration. At least one hole is provided in the model from which synthetic tissue protrudes to simulate a hernia. The model is used to selectively simulate direct, indirect and femoral inguinal hernias as well as incisional hernias by removably placing the protruding simulated tissue into any one of several openings. The model contains all important anatomical structures and sits on a base frame or is connected to a rigid simulated pelvis. When located inside a laparoscopic trainer with an angled top cover, the model provides an ideal simulation for teaching and practicing laparoscopic hernia repair.

A plurality of physical panel, rod, curtain, blade, and fin video display arrays are described, as are methods and systems for managing and editing video for display and powering a video display that is associated with an architectural feature.

Abstract: A signage system (10) including one or more visual display devices (11), each mounted for display behind the windshield (15) of one or more parked and ignition-off vehicles (16). Each sign (11) has a visual display surface (12) that is capable of forming an illuminated graphic display (13) on the visual display surface (12). The visual display surface (12) would be visible to observers in front of the vehicle (16). The system (10) includes wireless communication hardware (60) that allows the visual display (11) to be programmed by a remote programming device (41). Each of the display devices (11) can be programmed to have a separate message and each message would scroll from left to right across the display surface (12) in a time coordinated manner so that the message appears to scroll consistently from left to right across the visual field of the plurality of display surfaces (12).

Abstract: Tough decorative printable film products having holographic-type images are provided that are low in cost. These film products include a relatively high temperature film that is made by continuous extrusion of the film resin onto a master film having pre-etched holographic-type imaging in order to provide a high-temperature primary film with conforming holographic imaging. This primary film provides a tough holographic-type image that is readily secured to any number of products to impart a holographic character to them. For example, this primary film is suitable for use on the surface of recreational sportsboards. When desired, sublimation printing can be used to impart indicia, text, images and colors, alone or in combination, to the primary film.

Abstract: A digital price indicator is provided. In the digital price indicator, a display body is disposed on a front side of a fence installed on a shelf, a battery is disposed on a back side of the fence and supplies power to the display body, and a connection unit is installed at the display body and the battery to connect power between the display body and the battery and secure the display body and the battery to the fence. Accordingly, the display body can have a slim profile, an improvement in design and ease of battery change can be achieved, and battery capacity can be extended.

Abstract: A smaller sized flip dot display utilizes a magnetically actuated pixel that rotates between two orientations. The orientations display two different optical states. A simulated dot matrix design improves the aesthetics and consumer appeal, and also permits a flip dot display capable of producing a positive contrast display image with darker colored “ON” pixels contrasting with brighter background and “OFF” pixels by reducing the visibility of the spacing gap between each rotating pixel and the surrounding background. An interwoven configuration of magnetic actuators with a coil around each arm of a U-shaped core may result in lower power consumption, low production cost, and small size required for use in consumer and small mobile devices such as watches and mobile phones.

The greeting card may include a multi-panel greeting card body or a three-dimensional foam greeting card body. At least one movable object is contained upon or within the greeting card body. A sound module having at least one pre-recorded digital audio file saved therein and a motor module are contained and concealed within the greeting card body. One or more switches may be used to activate the sound and motor modules, causing the pre-recorded audio file to play and causing movement of the movable or mobile object.

The vehicle is determined to be an errant vehicle if the vehicle-velocity vector is not aligned with the authorized-velocity vector. Then, the countermeasure controller may apply countermeasures to the errant vehicle. The countermeasures include electronic countermeasures, informational countermeasures, and physical countermeasures. The countermeasure controller can provide information to other drivers about the errant vehicle via personalized communication or electronic warning signs. The countermeasure controller can be configured to detect entry of vehicles into security areas based on data from one or more sensors.
