Light Or Weather Seal Patents (Class 40/578)
  • Patent number: 10388826
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and a device for repairing semiconductor chips. The method includes providing an LED module that includes a circuit substrate and a plurality of light-emitting units disposed on the circuit substrate, at least one of the light-emitting units being a bad light-emitting unit; projecting a laser light source generated by a laser generating module onto the bad light-emitting unit so as to decrease the bonding strength between the bad light-emitting unit and the circuit substrate; removing the bad light-emitting unit from the circuit substrate by a chip pick-and-place module so as to form a vacancy; placing a good light-emitting unit inside the vacancy by the chip pick-and-place module; and then electrically connecting the good light-emitting unit to the circuit substrate. Therefore, the bad light-emitting unit can be replaced by the good light-emitting unit so as to repair the LED module.

Abstract: An insulated glass (IG) assembly for windows which includes an internal lighting system is disclosed. The IG assembly includes two or more panes of glass, a spacer and a strip of light emitting diodes (LEDs). The spacer separates glass panes and provides the hermetic seal for the IG assembly. The spacer extends around the periphery of the glass panes with a portion of its ends overlapping to form a sealed corner joint. The LED light strip includes a plurality of LED lamps connected in series by thin electrical contact wires fixed in a flexible nonconductive substrate. The LED strip is fixed to the spacer and extends around the periphery of the insulated glass unit. The lead wires from the LED light strip pass through the corner joint between the overlapped ends of the spacer. The LED light systems provide dependable illumination but emit relatively little thermal energy.
