Therefore, the bad light-emitting unit can be replaced by the good light-emitting unit so as to repair the LED module.

A waterproof layer is filled in the housing enclosure parts to seal the inside circuit base plate.     Abstract: An insulated glass (IG) assembly for windows which includes an internal lighting system is disclosed. The IG assembly includes two or more panes of glass, a spacer and a strip of light emitting diodes (LEDs). The spacer separates glass panes and provides the hermetic seal for the IG assembly. The spacer extends around the periphery of the glass panes with a portion of its ends overlapping to form a sealed corner joint. The LED light strip includes a plurality of LED lamps connected in series by thin electrical contact wires fixed in a flexible nonconductive substrate. The LED strip is fixed to the spacer and extends around the periphery of the insulated glass unit. The lead wires from the LED light strip pass through the corner joint between the overlapped ends of the spacer. The LED light systems provide dependable illumination but emit relatively little thermal energy. Consequently, the LED light system maintains the thermal insulating properties of an insulated glass unit.

The legs of the lenses extend rearwardly from the front face of the lens to behind the display surface. A method of maintaining the sign from the interior of the cabinet is also provided by flexing and rotating the lenses, the front of the window may be cleaned from the interior of the cabinet. A method of maintaining and replacing modular electronic components of the sign from within the cabinet is also provided.

    Abstract: An illuminated sign comprises a casing having a front wall comprising a frame supporting a light-transmitting panel. The front wall is pivoted about its upper edge where it is connected to the top wall of the casing. The upper frame element of the front wall has a generally L-shaped flange extending towards the groove, the distal limb of that flange being directed upwardly and terminating in a longitudinally extending bead which, cooperating with the interior surface of the C-shaped groove of the front edge of the top wall, constitutes a hinge about which the front wall can be swung to allow access to the interior of the casing. The L-shaped flange of the top frame element of the front wall provides a drainage channel along which rain water, which might otherwise stain the panel, is conducted.

Any of the J-shaped flanges can rotate in its housing channel to permit the front panel to be hinged open when the screws along all the other edges are loosened to allow the other J-shaped flanges to leave their housing channels.
