Abstract: A display assembly includes a framework, an electronic display subassembly connected to the framework at an elevated position, and an open, unobstructed, pass-through area located below the electronic display subassembly and within the framework. The pass-through area may assist with sightlines through the display assembly, by way of example. Wiring may be routed from a base along or through upward extending members of the framework.

Abstract: A display device includes: a first display panel; a first housing disposed on the bottom of the first display panel; a first cabinet disposed on the bottom of the first housing, the first cabinet including a first protrusion part and a first concave part; and a first side frame disposed on a side surface of the first display panel. The first side frame is movable toward the first cabinet, and a portion of the first side frame extends to the first concave part. Thus, there may be provided a display device which may be independently used and also be used to constitute (or form) a tiling display device by connecting multiple display devices.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a universal targeting stand for an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), comprising a central support structure, a target plate selectively connected to the central support structure and a target image attached to the target plate. Selective connection of the target plate allows a common calibration stand for different vehicles even where different targets are required. Additionally provided is a method of using a universal targeting stand, a target sheet for use with the universal targeting stand and use of a calibrating mat with the universal targeting stand.

Abstract: A protective display case configured to encase memorabilia is provided. The protective display case includes a front chassis assembly having a front chassis and a front chassis glazing member. A gasket is seated in a groove formed in the front chassis. A spacer is seated over the front chassis glazing member. Memorabilia is positioned within a cutout formed in the spacer. A rear chassis assembly has a rear chassis and a rear chassis glazing member. The rear chassis assembly is attached to the front chassis assembly with the gasket, spacer and memorabilia positioned therebetween. A bezel is configured to cover perimeters of the front and rear chassis assemblies, gasket, spacer and memorabilia. Front and rear layers of protective glass are secured to the front and rear chassis assemblies.

Features to grip and retain a support frame are provided. Modules and systems have features that permit installation and removal from the front side of the display. A system of modular support frames works cooperatively with the display modules, adapting to different mounting environments, and thereby providing large modular displays with desirable properties.

Abstract: Architectural tiled panel systems composed of at least one sensory output tile module and a plurality of non-sensory-output tile modules. Each sensory output tile module includes any one or more of a variety of electronic devices, such as a video display device, an audio speaker, and an illumination device (e.g., an LED or light bulb), among others. Each non-sensory-output module includes a presentation face that is visually appealing. The non-sensory-output tile modules can be used to provide aesthetic surrounds for each of one or more sensory output tile modules and/or groups of sensory output tile modules. In some embodiments, a plurality of video display type sensory output tile modules are grouped together and controlled to provide a larger mosaicked video display. In some embodiments, abutting tile modules are secured together using connectors having a latch mechanism for each tile module connected thereby.

Abstract: Techniques to fabricate and assemble a lighting system including multiple patterned OLED lighting panels to form a high-resolution macro image are provided. An image to be displayed is determined and divided into multiple portions. Patterned static OLED lighting panels that display each portion of the image are fabricated and assembled into a fixture to form a macro-image lighting system. The fixture may removably receive and hold individual panels, such that each panel may be replaced if any malfunction occurs. Each of the patterned OLED panels may be individually driven through an electrical connection within the fixture so as to be operated at substantially the same brightness and/or same chromaticity.

Abstract: A light-emitting display system has an alignment mechanism to align or angle light-emitting tiles of the display. A first tile connects to a second tile by joining a first clamp portion on the first tile with a second clamp portion on the second tile. In an implementation, the alignment mechanism includes a replaceable angle adjustment insert that is inserted into at least one of the clamp portions, such as the first clamp portion. When the first and second clamp portions are joined, a surface of the second clamp portion presses against the insert and a desired angle between the first and second tile is formed. The insert can have any angle so that any desired angle can be formed between the first and second tiles.

Abstract: A method of converting an existing signage mounting structure to an electronic sign comprises using an installation kit for providing and installing at least one section sign assembly, loaded with a plurality of display modules and having a power routing system with a plurality of individual power extensions extending from a single node to a plurality of display module receiving bays node receptacles, wherein passageway openings at a rear portion of the at least one sectional sign assembly facilitate replacement of individual ones of said plurality of display modules from a rear side of the sign construction, and coupling said single node to a source of power for completing the conversion.

The first attachment portion is configured to be removably attachable to the second attachment portion by a pushing force applied substantially normal to the wall on the front face of the wall panel. The hook is configured to be coupled with the bottom support bracket such that a portion of the weight of the wall panel is supported via the hook.

Abstract: A configurable large-depth panel display uses a number of frame members and a number of corner brackets coupled to one another to create an flexible and easily customized display device. The frame members relatively uniform, having a substantially constant cross-sectional configuration which is easily coupled to the frame members. The corner brackets can be configured in a number of different ways to produce a display product with a desired configuration. More specifically, the corner brackets can be configured to attach to frame members in a manner which produce an overall framework having multiple shapes and orientations, depending upon the desired design of the overall display. To complete the display panel, a removable face panel is attached to the frame using an interference fit caused by a ridged tab inserted into a channel that has a supporting recess. Various face panels, can be easily attached to the frame members using integral portions of the constant cross-sectional configuration.

Abstract: A configurable large-depth panel display uses a number of frame members and a number of corner brackets coupled to one another to create an flexible and easily customized display device. The frame members relatively uniform, having a substantially constant cross-sectional configuration which is easily coupled to the frame members. The corner brackets can be configured in a number of different ways to produce a display product with a desired configuration. More specifically, the corner brackets can be configured to attach to frame members in a manner which produce an overall framework having multiple shapes and orientations, depending upon the desired design of the overall display. Various panels, brackets and supports can be easily attached to the frame members using integral portions of the constant cross-sectional configuration. Further, more complex displays can be easily created by simply attaching different framework components to one another thus creating a single structure with multiple panel members.

Abstract: A panel fastening assembly comprising a frame member securable to a beam, an advertising track, a rod mating the frame member and the track, and a carrier for retaining an advertising panel therein. The carrier is secured to the track to display the advertising panel. A method of displaying an advertising panel comprising the steps of engaging an advertising panel with a carrier, attaching a frame member to a beam, attaching a rod to the frame, coupling an advertising track to the carrier, and securing the advertising track to the rod. The frame member comprises a cylindrical base which is securable to the beam. The rod extends through an aperture in the base and into the track. Upward movement of the rod locks the track and carrier together and tensions the panel. Downward movement of the rod releases the carrier from the track and the tension in the panel.

Abstract: A tiled display rotational assembly is provided. The system uses panels connected by hinges, the panels configured to mount at least one display on each panel. A first panel has an extending hinge portion with a first bearing surface attached to an edge while a second panel has a receiving hinge portion with a second bearing surface attached to an edge. When the extending hinge portion is inserted into the receiving hinge portion the extending hinge portion and the receiving hinge portion together define an axis of rotation about which the panels may rotate.

Abstract: An electronic sign having slotted frame cabinets whereby each slotted frame cabinet can conveniently be attached to one or more vertically or horizontally positioned adjacent slotted frame cabinets by using connecting components which are generally located around the periphery of one or more slotted frame cabinets. The tab can have a non-circular hole disposed therethrough sized and configured to receive the bar. This hole can include a surface that is configured to key with respect to a corresponding bar surface to thereby prevent the bar from rotating.

Abstract: A modular solar powered illuminated alphanumeric identification system which incorporates solar power or other alternative power sources to illuminate light emitting diodes. The invention includes a plurality of self-powered aligned modules which is secured to a suitable surface in order to provide for visual alphanumeric identification either nonelectronically or electronically during hours of daylight and during the hours of darkness, respectively. The self-powered modules include a plurality of photovoltaic cells which charges one or more battery packs for the subsequent illumination of arrangements of alphanumerically arranged light emitting diodes during periods of darkness.

Abstract: A large scale LED display has a cable and rigid link support structure for a number of LED modules. The cable and rigid link support structure is flexible but has sufficient structural integrity to prevent misalignment of the pixel modules. The LED modules are removable from the support structure individually and as a group so as to facilitate repair of the display. The LED modules are rugged so as to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and they provide sufficient luminescence for use in sunlight.

The support defines a substantially vertical section, a substantially horizontal section, and a bent transition section extending between the substantially vertical section and the substantially horizontal section.
