Abstract: In one example, a quadrilateral display includes a shroud including a first section, a second section, a third section and a fourth section, the first section, the second section, the third section and the fourth section being rotatably disposed relative to adjacent ones of the first section, the second section, the third section and the fourth section and a plurality of anchors including a first anchor attached to the first section, a second anchor attached to the second section, a third anchor attached to the third section and a fourth anchor attached to the fourth section, the plurality of anchors being disposed in a first position within the shroud in a stowed position and a second position within the shroud in a deployed position.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of display modules, assemblies of display modules, and systems of display modules. Display modules have a plurality of light emitting elements arranged in a predetermined pattern and providing a highly uniform visual effect. Alignment and complementary alignment features enable the alignment of adjacent display modules and the creation of large displays from a plurality of aligned display modules. Features to grip and retain a support frame are provided. Modules and systems have features that permit installation and removal from the front side of the display. A system of modular support frames works cooperatively with the display modules, adapting to different mounting environments, and thereby providing large modular displays with desirable properties.

Abstract: A shape optimization method of a plate-like member which has a concavo-convex shape and includes: identifying a bend stress point where a bend stress is higher in a mode where a specific load is applied to the plate-like member; identifying a bend axis from a distribution of stress vectors around the bend stress point; identifying, in an orthogonal surface to the bend axis, a pair of membrane stress points where a ratio of a membrane stress to a sum of the bend stress and the membrane stress is higher; calculating an offset variable which is a distance between a line segment connecting the pair of the membrane stress points and the bend stress point; and identifying a shape of the plate-like member so as to minimize the offset variable.

Abstract: A corrugated display sign with a former panel secured to a backer panel. The former panel includes a central section opposed by two lateral sections, two support members partially cut away from the central section and maintaining a connection with the central section via at least one fold line, and two or more preformed slits, with one slit positioned adjacent to the support members. The display sign further includes a graphic panel operable to be wrapped around exterior edges of the lateral sections, and having ends secured to the backer panel. The display sign is capable of being erected from a knockdown configuration to an erected configuration by folding the lateral sections away from the central section and wrapping the graphic panel about the lateral sections.

Abstract: In combination with a highway tractor of the type having an operator's cab mounted on a frame, a vertical pivotal coupling means coupled to the frame behind the cab adapted to be coupled to a trailer, and an aerodynamic structure at the top of the cab which includes a plurality of LED bulbs and a heat generating element in the front of the aerodynamic structure. A front panel of glass or plastic material having information such as a logo containing letters and/or images located on its first surface, second surface or embedded surface covers the LED bulbs with a weatherproof seal. Light from the LED bulbs provides illumination for the information on the front panel to be viewed from the front of the highway tractor and heat from the heat generating element helps to keep the front panel having information such as a logo free of snow and/or ice.

A corner member is supported on the side portion and comprises a first wall portion extending generally forwardly to a vertical edge adjacent the product dispensing face, and a second wall portion extending generally laterally outward from the side portion to a second vertical edge. The first and second edges each have a retaining portion extending vertically. A flexible signage member is supported on the corner member in a flexed condition between the retaining portions with a signage surface that is concave outwardly between the retaining portions. The signage member is supported and retained on the corner member by a biasing of the signage member to extend wider than a distance between the retaining portions.

The shared space divider comprises a hub that is placed on a portion of a surface, and at least one partitioning structure coupled to a portion of the hub. The at least one partitioning structure comprises a separator configured to partition the surface into two or more sections. The separator has a ribbon structure, an accordion structure, or a fan structure. The at least one partitioning structure is configured to extend from and retract into or, alternatively, fold out from and fold into the hub. In some embodiments, the shared space divider comprises at least one container for holding items commonly found on the surface. In other embodiments, the shared space divider comprises a clip for attaching to documents. Yet, in other embodiments, images such as advertisements are displayed on at least one of the separator and the hub.

Abstract: A configurable large-depth panel display uses a number of frame members and a number of corner brackets coupled to one another to create an flexible and easily customized display device. The frame members relatively uniform, having a substantially constant cross-sectional configuration which is easily coupled to the frame members. The corner brackets can be configured in a number of different ways to produce a display product with a desired configuration. More specifically, the corner brackets can be configured to attach to frame members in a manner which produce an overall framework having multiple shapes and orientations, depending upon the desired design of the overall display. To complete the display panel, a removable face panel is attached to the frame using an interference fit caused by a ridged tab inserted into a channel that has a supporting recess. Various face panels, can be easily attached to the frame members using integral portions of the constant cross-sectional configuration.

Abstract: A display arrangement comprises a banner, one edge of which is secured to a hollow, flexible rod. A spring arrangement is located within the rod. The spring arrangement comprises a spring that extends along a predetermined length of the rod and an elastic band that is looped through the length of the rod down the interior of the spring and around the exterior of the rod. The banner may be curved and posed by flexing the rod at the location of the spring. This curve is then retained in the banner by a balancing tension in the exterior portion of the elastic band between the ends of the rod. In some embodiments, the display arrangement is connected to one or more similar arrangements so that their banners form a continuous display.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a point of sale display having two joined flexible substrates capable of receiving a display material, each substrate having at least one leaf spring attached thereto and at least one fold line. Upon activation of the leaf springs, the substrates form curved surfaces, thereby giving the display a three dimensional form. The leaf springs and fold lines allow the display to be compressed flat and folded for shipping and storage.

Abstract: A collapsible tradeshow display includes curved end panels that provide for easier attachment and eliminate the possibility of dramatic disengagement of the panel from the display. Each end panel has a generally planar body comprised of a resilient material having a tendency to return to a generally flat configuration when in a curved configuration. A pair of side margins extend along opposing vertical sides of the body, each having a bridge portion attached thereto. A connecting means can connect the bridge portions to retain the panel in the curved configuration.

The edge rails include inwardly facing open-sided channels that receive and hold side edges of the flexible sign panels on one or both sides of the intermediate members. Upper and lower plates cover the top and bottom sides of the sign. Horizontal or vertical reinforcing members positioned on the intermediate member for larger signs support the sign panels between the edges. The edge rails can be decorative extruded aluminum members that are attached in different lengths to a variety of intermediate members. A channel member can be mounted between the edge rails to receive the ends of sign panels that extend only part of the way between the edge rails and the side of the intermediate member.

In the preferred embodiment, the transparent or translucent form is generally cylindrical and the insert is a flexible sheet. In the non-illuminated embodiment the insert may be opaque.

Abstract: A curved sign assembly includes a flexible sign panel removably mounted in an arcuate position in a modular frame. The frame comprises a pair of edge rails mounted on opposite side edges of an intermediate member. The edge rails can clip on a variety of intermediate members of different sizes. The edge rails include inwardly facing open-sided channels that receive and hold side edges of the flexible sign panels on one or both sides of the intermediate members. Upper and lower plates cover the top and bottom sides of the sign. Horizontal or vertical reinforcing members positioned on the intermediate member for larger signs support the sign panels between the edges. The edge rails can be decorative extruded aluminum members that are attached in different lengths to a variety of intermediate members. A channel member can be mounted between the edge rails to receive the ends of sign panels that extend only part of the way between the edge rails and the side of the intermediate member.

Abstract: The invention provides a display frame comprising a backing and a cooperating flexible screen that are securable between a pair of channeled rails provided at the upper and lower edges of the backing. The lower edge of the screen is releasably securable in the channel of the lower rail to enable a poster to be easily inserted and replaced by another poster while the display frame is assembled. The backing is preferably flexibly resilient and curved outwardly from its upper to its lower edge by tensioning means secured between the channeled rails. The channeled rails will preferably include biasing means to secure the backing within the channels of the rails and the flexible screen and/or a poster against the backing. Where the backing is resiliently flexible, the tensioning means will preferably be at least one flexible elongate element which is releasably securable between the channeled rails.

Abstract: The invention provides an improved display board apparatus which can be folded down when not in use so as to be substantially flat. The apparatus 41 when in its assembled erect condition, has a front panel 12, a rear panel 14 joined to the front panel along opposite vertical sides thereof, and a plurality of elastic traction members 42 attached to the rear panel 14 and arranged to tension rear panel 14 so that the front panel 12 assumes a convex shape. The improvement consists of an integrally formed rearwardly projecting spine 44 in the rear panel 14 extending between the upper and lower edges thereof, the spine 44 being delineated by a plurality of parallel spaced apart fold lines 24, 26, 26?. Each of the elastic traction members 42 extends across and through the spine and has its opposite ends anchored at locations adjacent the sides of the spine 44.
