Abstract: A hangtag for a product and related methods are disclosed. The hangtag has a foldable main body comprising a proximal portion having a first end and a second end, a distal portion having a first end and a second end, the first ends of the proximal and the distal portion having a first width, a crease portion positioned between the distal portion and the proximal portion, the crease portion having the first width and a first length extending between the distal portion and the proximal portion. The foldable main body is configured to be folded at or near the crease portion, where the crease portion is shaped and sized to mount the main body over one or more edges of the product such that the proximal portion is adjacent a first side of the product and the distal portion is adjacent a second side of the product.

Abstract: A tagging system for carpet or flooring samples has a lower gripping arm, an upper gripping arm, and a connecting arm connecting the lower gripping arm and the upper gripping arm. The lower gripping arm and the lower gripping arm are spaced apart by the connecting arm a distance to provide a snug fit with a typical flooring samples. Disposed on the upper gripping arm is a removeable label window connector, for connecting a transparent label window holder to the upper gripping arm. The label window connector has a plurality of notches about its substantially circular rim for connecting with the label window holder. In another embodiment, the label window connector connects the gripping arms, allowing for mounting the tagger perpendicular to the flooring sample. In another embodiment, the tagger has a body plate receiving a transparent label window, and an arcuate lip for receiving a color-coded marker.

Abstract: A selectively attachable marking device for permitting a user to distinguish between multiple articles which otherwise look the same or similar, particularly textile articles such as bath linens, bed linens, or table linens. The device has a clip-like structure, and may be preferably provided with retaining ribs to resist undesired slippage of the device off an edge of the textile article with which it is used.

Abstract: A shelf edge display having a shelf gripper and a translucent panel with a light diffusion compartment located between the shelf gripper and the translucent panel to support a light source therein for illuminating a backside of the translucent panel to thereby illuminate an information strip on a front face of the translucent panel with translucent light.

Abstract: An adapter device is described for fastening an information carrier to a support trail provided with two retaining means, wherein the adapter device includes a first leg and a second leg, each of which is supportable on one of the two retaining means. This adapter device is to be refined in such a way that a secure retention of the adapter device on the support rail is ensured, even after repeated mounting of the adapter device on or removal of the adapter device from the support rail and, at the same time, the costs for producing the adapter device are preferably minimal.

Abstract: A device is provided for shielding a contactless smartcard or RFID tag from reading. The device can include a first panel for holding and presenting a contactless smartcard, a second panel comprising a shielding material that prevents unauthorized reading of information when the contactless smartcard is in proximity to or resting on the second panel, and a hinge coupling the first panel and the second panel. The hinge keeps the device closed for preventing unauthorized reading, and open when a force is applied for allowing authorized reading. The contactless smartcard can be inserted between the first panel and the second panel.

Abstract: The invention concerns a tag holder including a support for displaying information, such as a price tag, as well as fixing mechanism adapted to cooperate with a slide or rail provided at the front of a display surface, such as the surface of a shelf of a rack. The fixing mechanism includes a staple with a terminal engagement device cooperating with a lateral end of the slide, and a hinge adapted to enable a first position of the staple inserted into the slide and a second position of the staple internally locked.

Abstract: A placard holder apparatus and method is provided. The apparatus includes a bracket mounted to a vehicle that is operative to transport a hazardous material. The bracket is operative to slidingly receive and engage with a placard holder. A placard clip may be mounted to the vehicle to prevent the placard holder from exiting the bracket. The placard holder includes a tray with a cavity of sufficient depth to hold a stack of adhesively mounted placards. For each shipment of a hazardous material in the vehicle, a placard with indicia representative of a hazard classification corresponding to the hazardous material may be adhesively mounted in the cavity of the tray. Once the cavity is filled with placards, the placard holder may be removed and replaced with an empty or less full placard holder. The full placard holder may be discarded or recycled to remove the adhesively mounted placards therein.

Abstract: A printed greeting card is placed within a two-sided frame-like casing which is suspended in a vertical plane such that both sides of the greeting card can be viewed. The casing extends from a combination elongate connector strand and clip. The clip can be releasably attached to any element in a floral arrangement, to a single floral stem, as well as to other gifts such as stuffed animals or gift bags. The greeting card may be a flat card with printing on one or both sides, or may alternatively be folded in half in the fashion of traditional hand-held greeting cards. In all cases, the greeting card is placed within the frame-like casing by insertion through a slot in the side of the casing so that both exterior surfaces are easily viewable.

Slots extend through the bracket and are sized to receive sign clips that are affixed to the back of a sign. Use of the sign display device permits attaching a secondary sign to a main sign or poster display, with the bracket concealed by the secondary sign and standing out from the surface of the main sign for increased or enhanced visual recognition.

Abstract: A novel mail carrier sorting case arrangement facilitates the sorting of mail according to current conditions. Compartments formed in a case by vertical dividers are provided for each delivery address. Flags reflecting special current delivery situations with respect to particular addresses are temporarily placed across the entrances to corresponding compartments which must be noted by the sorting mail carrier when inserting the mail. The flags are obstructions which will be noticed physically if not visually, and may be readily deflected. The flags are formed of a strip of flexible material mounted on one end on a spring clip readily attachable to and removable from a divider. A flag has one bending point about which the free end of the strip moves inward facilitating the easy insertion of a single piece of mail into the compartment. The strips may be color coded to indicate broad categories of special situations, and may bear readily mounted and removed information cards which carry detailed instructions.

Abstract: A mounting device is provided for attaching promotional displays, dispensers, or other objects to a shelf in a grocery or other retail store shelf. The mounting device has resilient first and second jaws that are forced into engagement with the shelf by a locking slide. In one preferred embodiment, first jaw and second jaw are oriented at slightly less a 90.degree. angle relative to the body of the mounting device. The body has a vertical slot into which a rack attached to the second jaw slides and a horizontal channel into which a locking slide is inserted to cooperate with the rack. The rack has teeth which mesh with cooperating teeth on a locking slide to move the jaws together. In addition, the body has, for example a price channel, to which an advertising or promotional display device such as a shelftalker, or other object can be mounted.
