Abstract: A pendant display includes a hanger slidably disposed over an inwardly pivoting door and having a holder at an outwardly facing end supporting a pole at a snap-fit ball and socket connection that is pivotal to a horizontal position for displaying into an adjacent hallway an attribute of the room or the adjacent vicinity.

Abstract: An apparatus, consisting primarily of colored, dyed stretchable materials arranged solely to form display indicia, is constructed to fit onto, and substantially conform to the complex three-dimensional curvilinear shape of, a mirror housing of a motor vehicle exterior mirror. The colored, dyed stretchable material, upon installation, forms display indicia facing the front of the vehicle without obstructing the view of the mirror surface facing the rear of the vehicle. Preferred embodiments provide for removal of the apparatus without harm to the mirror housing.

Abstract: A combination label holder and sign, where the label holder component is of extruded construction and the sign component is inexpensively formed of sheet plastic material, printed with text and/or graphics on both sides and removably attached to the label holder component. The label holder component includes a clip, for attachment to a peg hook or shelf front, integrally attached to a label holder by means of a thin, flexible hinge. The label holder has front and back panels, joined at the bottom to form a label-holding pocket. A sign-holding channel is formed on the back panel of the label holder by a pair of horizontally disposed, spaced apart channel-forming flanges. The sign-holding channel slidably receives a mounting tongue portion of the sign component. The main body of the sign component extends outwardly at right angles from the label holder and its graphics are visible from opposite sides to customers walking in either direction in a merchandise aisle.

Abstract: An information ring for use with a catheter is disclosed. The information ring includes a body having a first end and a second end. The body has a first body face extending between the first end and the second end, and a second, generally convex face extending between the first end and the second end. The body has an opening extending therethrough between the first body face and the second face. A first indicia portion is located at the first end. The first indicia portion has a first indicia face sized to allow indicia to be printed on the first indicia face.

Abstract: An improved method of attaching paper and cloth pennants and flags to automobile antennae, ropes, and the like is presented. The attachment system consists of a three-part strip of adhesive material and a plastic or metal clip that are inexpensive to produce and simple to use.

Abstract: A container includes an identifier portion capable of receiving an identifying mark for conveying information such as the possessor of the container, the contents of the container, a desired message, or a combination thereof. The container may be a drinking cup or a container for storing contents such as food and the like. The container may be rigid, such as a glass or a hard plastic, or flexible, such as a re-sealable flexible storage bag. The identifier portion may comprise text, graphics, raised lettering or symbols, color coding, aroma coding, or a combination thereof. The identifier portion may be integrally formed with the container or attached to a surface of the container. The identifying mark may be written on, drawn on, painted on, sprayed on, inserted into, extracted from, permanently formed on, the identifier portion; or a combination thereof.

Abstract: The luggage rack flag mount is a device designed for mounting accessories to the cross bar of luggage racks. This mounting mechanism consists of a smooth adjustable clamp that may be tightened on a crossbar by applying simple squeezing pressure on either end of the clamp. The clamp comprises hooks which are connected by a cross member. One of these hooks is inserted into a groove in the cross member and teeth on the surface of the groove and this hook interlock to hold them together. The present invention also consists of a mount attached to the upper surface of the clamp by a hinge. A flagpole may be secured to this mount and the wind resistance against the flag caused by the motion of the vehicle will cause the flag to rise. A block is secured to the clamp adjacent to the hinge so that the flagpole will remain upright when the vehicle is moving. When the vehicle stops moving the weight of the flag will cause the flagpole to fall to a resting position atop the clamp.

Abstract: A bracket for mounting a license plate to a vehicle having an air scoop in the bumper area. The bracket has a body having a mounting surface adapted to receive a license plate, an arm having a hook which extends from a rear surface of the body. The hook engages a flange defining the air scoop. A pair of threaded fasteners pass freely through the license plate, body of the brackets to be received in threaded apertures in the vehicle.

Abstract: A shelf-front label holder is provided with a specifically improved form of auxiliary sign clip along its upper front edge. The label holder is formed of a relatively rigid plastic material, and the sign clip includes a downwardly extending portion overlying the upper front margin of the label holder to accommodate upward insertion of special sign tags. A thin, flexible tongue-like retaining element extends across a lower portion of the sign clip and is adapted to be easily deflected by upward insertion of a paper sign but thereafter lightly grips the sign to hold it in place. A new process is also disclosed for the continuous extrusion of the new label holder product, enabling the continuous co-extrusion of the soft, flexible tongue-like retaining element together with the main section of the label holder.

Abstract: A golf accessory clip is provided with a garment fastener that clips onto a golf garment, such as the bill of a golf hat or the edge of a golf shirt. The golf accessory clip is provided with a shield portion that is rotatable relative to a mounting base. The shield portion bears a surface embellishment which may be considered to have a top and a bottom for purposes of viewing. By providing a rotatable connection between the shield and the mounting base, the golf accessory clip may be utilized in a wide variety of ways and clipped onto many different golf garments while still allowing the shield to be oriented and reoriented so that the surface embellishment thereon is always right side up. The coupling between the underside of the shield and the mounting structure on the garment fastener is preferably formed as a dovetail connection that permits rotation of the shield relative to the fastener, but which holds the shield and fastener coupled together.

Abstract: An ornament display device configured to be mounted on a button or similar shaped member found on the top of conventional hats or the like. The display device of the present invention includes a base configured to be releasably mounted over the button, a flexible stem mounted on the top of the base and extending upwardly, and an ornament or signage member mounted on the upper end of the stem. The device of the present invention permits the ornament or signage member to be removably mounted on a convention athletic hat or cap in a highly visible manner attracting attention to the displayed ornament.

Abstract: A merchandising bin for the convenient display and storage of retail goods. The merchandising bin is designed to be used in conjunction with a plurality of bins holding different parts to provide consumers a convenient choice of similar products. The bins have a front face to which a replaceable indicia panel is mounted to identify the product within the bin. The panel is received within side channels and retained on the bin face by a spring clip which resiliently engages the bin. Release of the spring clip facilitates removal and replacement of the panel as different parts are placed within the merchandising bins.

Abstract: Car shows are a hobby of ever increasing popularity. During car show competitions or exhibition and information card is required to be displayed. The present invention shows a device for the display of information cards in a stylish way without detracting from the overall look of the car. The device is a modified clipboard to hang from the rearview mirror of a car. The rearview mirror clipboard is made of clear rigid, with a center hole and channel to accommodate the arm of the rearview mirror.

Abstract: An information panel that is easily installed on a vending machine spiral in order to identify the product associated with the spiral. The invention comprises a convex channel, that nests with the concave surface at the end of a vending machine spiral, and a graphics surface integral to the convex channel and oriented in the vertical plane for viewing by a consumer of the vending machine. The invention can also incorporate a prior art kicker.

The clip can be releasably attached to any element in a floral arrangement, to a single floral stem, as well as to other gifts such as stuffed animals or gift bags. The greeting card may be a flat card with printing on one or both sides, or may alternatively be folded in half in the fashion of traditional hand-held greeting cards. In all cases, the greeting card is placed within the frame-like casing by insertion through a slot in the side of the casing so that both exterior surfaces are easily viewable.

Abstract: A trail marking apparatus is used for marking a trail in a woodland. A spring loaded clip is normally closed under a spring tension and manually opened for attachment to a twig or small limb. The clip provides a pair of flat surfaces on opposing sides for receiving a pair of adhesive reflective markers which are engaged with the flat surfaces of the clip. A flexible streamer of approximately 10 inches in length has one end of the streamer bonded to the clip and the other end of the streamer fitted with a pair of reflective markers adhered to opposing sides of the streamer. The apparatus is used to mark a trail by engaging the clip with any natural object in the wooded area as the hunter passes. When returning at night the hunter finds the trail markers by shining a light beam in an approximate direction.

Abstract: A poster gripping extrusion device for the close-in maintenance and rigid support of a flexible sheet of display material. The device includes an elongated planar base having a first or distal edge and a proximal or second edge defining a width of said base. A leg extends parallel to the base, the leg having a distal edge and a proximal edge, and only a single web or bridging portion extending between the second edge and the proximal edge of the leg to provide compactness to the device. A pivotable clamp extends from the distal edge of the leg, the clamp providing a first and a second line of contact between the clamp and the base to securely hold a sheet of material therebetween. The clamp has a distalmost edge which extends beyond the distalmost edge of the base portion of the device, to permit ease of manipulation of the device in “close-in” locations.

The window portion is generally coextensive with the back portion and preferably extends past the lower edge thereof Two sets of rigid ribs overlap in the space between the back portion and the window portion and interact to clamp an upper edge of a label retaining it in place until removal or relocation is desired.

Abstract: A plastic tab for indexing or marking a folder or an edge portion of an article such as an organizer or storage system. The lower portion of the tab has two downwardly extending walls, between which an edge of the folder or other article may be placed. The downwardly extending walls are configured and adapted to create an interference fit when the folder or other article is inserted between the walls of the tab. The interference fit enables the tab to remain securely in the desired position along the edge portion. The tab is made of a flexible polymeric material so that it may be mounted, re-positioned or removed easily. Removal of the tab from a wall edge causes the walls to flex apart and thereby eliminate or minimize the interference fit between the tab lower walls and the article on which the tab is mounted. Removal of the tab is therefore a smooth and simple operation that minimizes breakage of the tab or damage to the folder, organizer or storage medium.

Abstract: A self-supporting, frame system for a photo, print or any other flat material. The system is compromised of at least one flat, stiff piece of material and one main piece of material flexible enough to manually distort slightly. In one embodiment an item to be displayed is sandwiched between two stiff pieces of material and is inserted into a uniquely shaped hole(s) cut into the flexible main piece of the photo frame. The shaped hole(s) is cut such that a portion of the main flexible piece presses against the front of the sandwich while another portion presses against the back of the sandwich. After the sandwich is inserted and the flexible material is allowed to return to its original shape, the sandwich is pressed together effectively capturing the photo or the like in the sandwich.

Abstract: A dual purpose label holder for mounting on a merchandise display hook having label support means in the form of a cross bar or mounting plate fixedly attached to the outward end of a label holder arm. The label holder is formed of plastic and has a back panel formed with upper and lower mounting portions for pivotal attachment to a cross bar or fixed attachment to a mounting plate. The upper mounting portions serves in a dual capacity, either for pivotal engagement with a cross bar or for fixed engagement with the upper edge of a mounting plate. The label holder preferably has flexibly connected front and back panels, opening at the top, for receiving printed information labels.

Abstract: A device for assisting a shopper includes a substantially rectangular panel having front and rear surfaces. The front surface includes a layer of dry erase material having numerous sets of indicia permanently imprinted thereon. Each set of indicia describes a select household item. Immediately adjacent each set of indicia is a blank box which may be marked with a dry erase marker to signify that the corresponding product has been deplenished. Blank spaces are interspersed among the sets of indicia allowing the user to write additional item descriptions therein. Each blank space also includes a blank box adjacent thereto. A magnetic pad is disposed on the rear surface of the pad allowing it to be conveniently displayed on a refrigerator door. A detachable clamp assembly allows the device to be attached to a shopping cart whereby the box adjacent a product is marked as it becomes deplenished and the mark is erased upon the deplenished item being purchased at the store.

The material thickness of the profile is dimensioned for flexibility in the center portion (4) and for rigidity in the lock means (3).

Abstract: A safety identification assembly for use in neonatology comprising identifying sub-assemblies detachably connected to each other and capable of being easily and manually detached in a delivery room immediately upon the baby delivery, wherein the sub-assemblies are used for identifying the mother and her baby or babies and for closing umbilical cord ends when the cord is out into two sections, one section of the cord remaining joined to the baby and the other section remaining joined to the placenta's mother. A method for identifying a baby and his/her mother in a delivery room is also provided.

Swivelling can take place only at the crossing point, in which case, also at the crossing point, the foot part and its slide can be secured in the respective groove against falling out. The fastening clip can be moved into different positions with a clip opening which, in each case, points in a different direction. The clip can be secured in these positions against unintentional displacement and swivelling.

Abstract: A universal two-piece label holder system for hooks of various sizes and configurations, including single and double rod or U-shaped loop hooks, comprises a versatile ring-shaped saddle having a plurality of peripherally spaced clasps of different dimensions, at least one of which will grippingly engage a single rod hook, with an adjacent clasp slidingly engaging the second rod of a double rod or loop hook at a selected position along the length of the hook. An elongated plastic tag or overlay, preferably having a label holder at its distal end, is adapted to overlie the hook, with side edge portions of the tag engaged by flanges on the saddle and a selected one of a plurality of spaced openings along the intermediate portion of the tag engaged over a projection on the saddle to thereby limit movement of the tag relative to the saddle both laterally and longitudinally and to arcuately flex the tag to rigidify the same.

Abstract: A label holder for displaying information-containing non-adhesive labels or signs on a channel member at the front of a variety of forms of merchandise shelves in a supermarket or the like, particularly adapted for secure support and ready attachment to both Streator and Lozier type shelf systems wherein the height and configuration of the channel members are different. The label holder may be a co-extrusion of an opaque body panel and a transparent cover resiliently connected along their lower edges to define a label-receiving pocket therebetween. An upwardly and rearwardly extending leg member is integral with the rear of the body panel and underlies and extends behind the channel member. A lower finger is also carried by the rear of the body panel and is biasingly engaged with the upper surface of the lower flange of the channel member. An upper finger is provided on the upper edge of the body panel and is biasingly engaged with the lower surface of the upper flange of the channel member.

Abstract: A display device for displaying a display object includes a mounting formation for holding the display device in place, an attachment formation for attaching a display object to the display device, and a connecting member linking the mounting formation and the attachment formation. The mounting formation is configured such that it is capable of locking securely to a container or base structures. The connecting member holds the attachment formation at a position remote from the mounting formation. The attachment formation includes a control zone, and the control zone includes an entrance into which an attachment member on the display object may be inserted. The control zone further includes at least one stop formation projecting traversely across the control zone such that a part of the display object attachment member may abut against the stop formation to inhibit withdrawal of the display object attachment member through the control zone entrance.

Abstract: A protective device for removably attaching to a drawer slide. The drawer slide protector includes a generally elongated "C-shaped" cover sized to extend substantially around a drawer slide for protecting the drawer slide from paint or other coating materials, the "C-shaped" cover including a face portion and arms located on each side of the face wherein the face portion extends across the surface of the drawer slide and the arms extend around the edges of the drawer slide to grasp and hold the cover, wherein the cover includes at least one pair of opposed fingers extending from a lower interior edge of each of the arms for grasping the drawer slide. In the preferred embodiment, a pull tab is attached to the face portion, the pull tab extending outwardly from the cover for removing the cover from the drawer slide.

The identifier tag includes at least one identifier tab cover that is securable to the gripping end of the lever tab and includes an identifier tab cover including a molded plastic cover member and a lever tab locking structure. The molded plastic cover member has a lever tab insertion opening formed therein in connection with a lever tab receiving cavity sized to receive the gripping end of the lever tab. An outer top surface of the cover member is provided with an erasable marking surface. The lever tab locking structure includes a resilient locking prong retraction member and a curved locking prong. The resilient locking prong retraction member includes a horizontal portion and a vertical portion.

Abstract: An accessory for releasably engaging a temple of eye wear to display a user selected indicia is disclosed. The accessory includes a substantially planar display panel having a display surface and a back surface. A riser is connected to the back surface to lie within a periphery of the back surface. The riser includes a contact surface and opposing edges. A first tab projects from the riser and lies within the periphery of the back surface, wherein a first retaining lip extends substantially perpendicular from the first tab. A second tab projects from the riser and lies within the periphery of the back surface, wherein a second retaining lip extends substantially perpendicular from the second tab, such that the contact surface extends between the first tab and the second tab.

Abstract: A protective device for removably attaching to a drawer slide. The drawer slide protector includes a generally elongated "C-shaped" cover sized to extend substantially around a drawer slide for protecting the drawer slide from paint or other coating materials, the "C-shaped" cover including a face portion and arms located on each side of the face wherein the face portion extends across the surface of the drawer slide and the arms extend around the edges of the drawer slide to grasp and hold the cover, wherein the cover includes at least one pair of opposed fingers extending from a lower interior edge of each of the arms for grasping the drawer slide. In the preferred embodiment, a handle is attached to the face portion for removing the cover from the drawer slide.

Abstract: A sign holder device for mounting on the projecting lower margin of a display shelf ticket molding or label holder. The device is of injection molded construction having spaced apart side walls joined by top and bottom walls. A pair of mounting clips extend rearwardly and then upwardly from the bottom wall in general alignment with the respective through openings. Resilient plastic tabs, extending forwardly from the mounting clips, allow the device to be mounted on a variety of label holder configurations, where the label holders have a downwardly projecting lower edge margin to be received in the mounting clip. Abutment clips project rearwardly from the sidewalls toward the mounting clips and define locking recesses adjacent the bottom of the sign holder. This enables the sign holder to be applied over the lower edge of a flanged ticket molding and to be lockingly retained thereon by engagement of the lower flange within the locking recess.

Abstract: A patient identification bracelet is composed of a flexible strap and a clasp, the clasp being formed of thermoplastic material and having a base member fixed to one end portion of the strap and a hinged cover member projecting laterally from the strap when the clasp is open. Holding elements project from at least one of the opposable surfaces of the cover and base member for engaging and holding the opposite end portion of the strap when the clasp is closed, and a mating post and socket are provided for locking the clasp in its closed condition. The post and socket are constructed so that the clasp, if forced open, cannot be reclosed. A relatively weak portion of the strap, located between the end portion of the strap that is fixed to the clasp and the identification-receiving portion of the strap, and also located between the base and cover members when the clasp is closed, defines a break-away zone for the strap when pulling forces of predetermined magnitude are applied thereto.

Each set is provided with a highly visible color distinct from every other set. Each tag in a set is coupled to another tag in the same set by at least one frangible or decouplable connection. Each tag further has an opening enabling the tag to be inserted over the intravenous line, and a preferably circular hole, about which the tag holds the intravenous line. For each intravenous line, the tags are applied over the intravenous line as a set, i.e., while coupled. Once on the intravenous line the tags are decoupled from each other and slid in opposite directions along the line toward the medicinal source and output.
