These guide ribs form an insertion aid. Over a longer initial guide portion (7) starting from the insertion entrance in the transverse direction to the direction of insertion (E), the two guide ribs (5, 6) as an insertion aid have a much greater distance between them than the width of the slide film and with an inclined transition portion (8) in the direction of insertion (E) merge into a fixing portion (9). Such fixing portions (9) are spaced apart in the same transverse direction corresponding to the width of the slide film.

A stereo slide mount 1 constructs its system of a plurality of kinds of stereo slide mounts 1 (#-E, - - - , and #E) in which the left and right apertures have an equal width W and an equal pitch PW and in which film positioning pines 6L and 6R formed on a base frame 2 and positioning pins 7L and 7R formed in a cover frame 3 have a pitch P.sub.P changed stepwise. The base frame 2 and the cover frame 3 are united by bringing the perforations of the film on the positioning pins 6L and 6R of the base frame 2 and by fitting the positioning pins in the pin holes 7L and 7R of the cover frame 3. The individual stereo slide mounts have different film offsets so that the parallax can be corrected to reproduce an accurate stereoscopic image by mounting the film on the mount having a numerals of the offset which is decided by a masking extent guide device.

The display device preferably includes security and/or authentication indicia, and is fabricated from archival-quality materials. The ticket is formed from a single folded sheet of heavy paper or plastic material and scored along one edge for a fold to define a front and back panel. The film frame or clip is secured in an envelope or packet of non-bleed, non-yellowing transparent polyester plastic which is mounted to one inner face of the ticket panels. Preferably the ticket window is of sufficient size to exhibit the sprocket holes of the film frame or clip for authenticity. The transparency images may be of a motion picture or performance event such as a concert, sporting or historical event, and may be reproduced from a film positive or negative, or from video tape.

    Abstract: A stereo slide mount which facilitates correct mounting of stereo slides to utilize the advantage of a stereo camera having a function for correcting parallax. The front-side mount frame 11 and the back-side mount frame 12 are provided with windows 13L, 13R, 14L and 14R maintaining a pitch nearly equal to the gap between two human eyes. The windows have vertical and lateral sizes which are slightly larger than the screen region of the slide film F. Positioning pins 15 are provided at upper, lower, right and left portions of the windows 14L, 14R of the back-side mount frame 12, and holes 16 are formed in the front-side mount frame 11 to correspond to the pins 15. The film is positioned while bringing perforations of the slide film F into engagement with the pins 15 which are then forcibly introduced into the holes of the front-side mount frame 11, in order to join the front-side and back-side mount frames 11 and 12 together.

The cover frames 22 are prepared in plural kinds (#0, #1, --) in which the width C.sub.1 between the windows is equal to the width between the windows in the base frame, and the width W of the windows decreases stepwisely. Plural kinds of masking-amount guide devices 31 having the same size of windows as that of the cover frames and having a collimation pattern at the same position on the right and left windows, are successively and temporarily fitted to the base frame 21, and the image of the stereo slide films is observed using a stereo slide viewer.

    Abstract: A transparent document securing device, using in a flatbed scanner, includes a securing frame. The securing frame comprises at least a securing cell, wherein the securing cell further includes a concave, a cover and a clip mechanism. The concave includes a least a first opening and an open slot. The cover includes at least a second opening. The securing device employs the cover to mount a transparent document in a concave. A user is therefore be able to place the securing device along with the transparent document in the document glass of a scanning system. By a predetermined mode, the scanning system is able to directly scan the transparent document; no need to preview the scanned image to adjust the scanning area. Thus, the time for scanning is saved. Further the fixed depth of the concave is utilized to proved a precise focus of the scanning system. The quality of the scanned image is therefore improved.
