Abstract: A collectable mounting device is configurable to a wall-mounted configuration, and a horizontal support surface (or shelf) mounted configuration. In the wall-mounted configuration, support members are secured together via a fastener through the adjustment slots such that support channels extend in the same direction to support the collectable on a wall. In the shelf-mounted configuration, the support members are fastened together such that the support channels extend in opposite directions, and a tensioning member is inserted between the support members in opposed tensioning member receiving slots to flex the support members away from each other. A packaging method includes stacking the support members and tensioning member to align holes therein; wrapping a label around the stacked support members and tensioning member to align holes in the label and holes in the support members and tensioning member; and inserting a fastener through the aligned holes.

Abstract: A frame for a sign. The frame comprises a plurality of struts and corner brackets. The struts have an exposed front surface including a gripping means. Each corner bracket slidably engages with two of the struts at an angle. The corner brackets also have an exposed front surface including a gripping means. The gripping means of the struts is substantially continuous with the gripping means of the corner brackets so that when the corner brackets and struts are engaged to form a polygon, the polygon includes a substantially continuous gripping means that is engageable with a sign to mount the sign on the frame.

Abstract: The memorial display is a retainer and display for funereal and memorial related items, such as obituary pages, sympathy cards, funeral flowers and the like. The memorial display includes a page retainer for receiving a display page, such as an obituary page. A transparent holder is provided for receiving the page retainer and securing the display page therein. A face plate, such as a memorial placard, is secured to a front face of the transparent holder. A framing mat, having opposed front and rear faces and a central cutout portion formed therethrough, is positioned against the transparent front face of the transparent holder for bordering the face plate. A frame member receives the page retainer, the transparent holder, the face plate and the framing mat such that the face plate is displayed through the front end of the frame member and the display page is displayed through the rear end.

Abstract: A reversible license plate holder attachable to a prepared rear panel of a vehicle. A rectangular perimeter frame has an obverse and a reverse side and an open central area, the frame having an L-shaped cross-section defining a flange sized to be aligned with and receive a license plate positionable thereagainst. The frame also has spaced mounting holes which are alignable with mounting holes in the license plate and with threaded holes in the rear panel for attaching the holder against the rear panel. When the holder is attached to the rear panel so that the reverse side faces outwardly in a temporary use mode by a car dealer, an upper retaining tab forming a first U-shaped channel with the frame trappingly receives an upper edge of the license plate and a lower retaining tab forming a second U-shaped channel trappingly receives a lower edge of the license plate when a lower edge of the flange is resiliently flexed downwardly, then released.

The first opening and the second opening are configured for oppositional alignment in the chassis, and the first elastomeric film and the second elastomeric film are configured to retain a display object in a region defined by an oppositional alignment of the first opening and the second opening.

An outside track is formed on the outside frame member, between a central inside face of the outside frame member and the outside retainer. An inside track is formed on the outside frame member, between the outside retainer and the inside retainer. A screen is mounted on the outside track, a fixed window mounted on the outside track; and an active window is mounted on the inside track.

Abstract: A dual window display box for displaying two objects includes a display arrangement and an attachment arrangement. The display arrangement includes at least two displaying frames, wherein each of the displaying frames has a displaying window and defines a storage cavity between the displaying frames when the displaying frames are overlapped with each other for the first and second objects receiving in the storage cavity. The attachment arrangement includes a first attaching member provided on one of the displaying frame and a second attaching member which is provided on another the displaying frame and is detachably attached to the first attaching member to detachably engage the displaying frames in an overlapped manner such that the display arrangement provides dual display effect on the opposed displaying windows of the displaying frames for individually displaying the first and second objects at two opposite directions.

A mounting surface securedly holds the frame of the mounting frame assembly. The hinged frame assembly comprises a frame, a hinge, and a locking mechanism. The frame of the hinged frame assembly is hingably connected to the frame of the mounting frame assembly enabling opening/closing of the hinged frame assembly relative the hinge. The pivotable frame assembly comprises a frame, and an indicia displaying assembly. Because the frame of the hinged frame assembly is hingably connected to the frame of the mounting frame assembly, opening the hinged frame assembly can create enough space to enable the free rotation, or pivot, of the pivotable frame assembly about a pivot assembly, and hence the indicia display assembly is pivotable.

Abstract: This invention discloses composite two faced picture, document and/or other artwork frames, each composed of two separate frames with panes permanently installed on elastomeric pads and fitted to allow pane to pane resilient contact with two sets of displayed material and mats clamped back to back between panes for alternate viewing of either side. Each pair of composite frames are opened and closed quickly and easily, by the user, for frequent changes of displayed material. A variety of methods of opening closing, hanging, or setting up for display, all designed for quick and easy operation, by the user without assistance or tools, are presented.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a process for forming a translucent first image onto a transparent media 34 and forming a translucent mirror image of the first image onto a second transparent media 36 whereupon the first image and the second mirror image are placed face to face or back to back and positioned between opposing layers 42, 44 of transparent material where application of ambient light will produce a luminous effect on the dual image. Enhancement of a part or entire images is further achieved by centrally placing a thin layer of tissue paper 46, cut into the desired shape and sized between the two layers 34, 36 of transparent media holding the images. The tissue paper 46 serves to diffuse light imparting a luminous quality to the coplanar images, in either frontal 16 or backlighting 18 conditions.

Abstract: A reversible display frame combination that may be pivotably mounted on a wall so as to enable its rotation while mounted to enable a user to selectively show the display item(s) contained therein from either side without a change in appearance of the combination, and method for employing same is disclosed. The display frame combination comprises a reversible display frame and a suspension device. The reversible display frame comprises generally a frame member and one or more suspension rings attached to the frame member. In one version, the suspension rings are retractable. The suspension device enables rotation at a wall assembly by means of a pivotally coupled upper and lower loop member.

Abstract: A combination picture retaining and item storing device that has an integrally formed plastic structure. The structure includes at least two sidewalls that extend from a base. At least one of the sidewalls has a hole formed through the sidewall. A storage area is disposed adjacent and integrally formed with the at least two sidewalls. A separate picture retaining member having a translucent planar body including first and second parallel portions are joined at a radius. The first and second parallel portions allow for retention of a picture in a gap formed by the opposing portions. Retaining features formed on an inner surface and around a periphery of the hole positions the picture retaining member within the periphery of the hole and allows for easy removal of the picture retaining member.

Abstract: A picture frame is comprised of a frame with open opposite sides for displaying pictures on both sides. Partitions in the frame define slots that receive picture holders. Entrances to the slots are arranged on one edge of the frame. Each picture holder is comprised of two transparent sheets joined along three edges. An open edge is arranged for receiving a picture. Offset notches along the partitions between the slots enable the holders to be grabbed more easily. A pin is inserted through tabs projecting from the partitions for locking in the holders. The frame is pivoted on a base, so that the frame can be pivoted back when reversed. A slidable arm is attached to the base, and is slid toward the side that the frame is tilted to improve stability.

Abstract: A napkin/picture holder for storing napkins in an attractive manner. The napkin/picture holder includes a support having a bottom wall and a pair of side walls integrally attached to either side of the bottom wall and extending upwardly and each having a main portion and a wing portion which is turned over upon and spaces from the main portion to form a picture-receiving slot therebetween. The side walls are spaced from one another to essentially form a napkin-receiving slot therebetween. As a second embodiment, the bottom wall is supported upon a base member having an upper portion which swivels relative to the base portion. As a third embodiment, a plurality of ring members are attached to the side walls and are adapted to hold and store selected usable accessories. As a fourth embodiment, one of the side walls is spring-loaded and hingedly attached to the side of the bottom wall and is engageable with napkins placed between the side walls.

Abstract: A multi-panel folding display screen includes a plurality of hingedly connected panels with each panel of the screen including a number of display openings there through with the openings being spaced longitudinally along the panel. Within each opening one or more picture frames are mounted so that a collection of photographs can be displayed in the screen. Each picture frame is pivotally mounted relative to the respective panel such that it is rotatable relative to the panel and each frame has a side loading slot so that a pair of photographs can be loaded therein with the photographs being arrayed back to back to face in opposite directions. Each frame can thus be selectively rotated to alternatively exhibit one or the other of the opposing photographs so that the photographic collection can be easily changed.

Abstract: A post plastic lens photographic slide mount made from a plastic slide mount includes a first and second plastic frame portions connected along an outer border with a pocket into which a photographic film slide can be inserted. A top plastic lens and a bottom plastic lens that can be introduced to the plastic slide mount. The plastic lenses can be added at the same time the photographic film slide is inserted into the plastic slide mount, or the lenses may be added after the plastic slide mount has been assembled. The lenses are held in place by a tongue and groove arrangement.

Abstract: An improved sign frame is provided which will allow for a sign to be quickly and easily inserted in the frame and to be easily removed from the frame. The sign frame has a first side, a second side, a third side and a fourth side. The second, third, and forth sides being formed from substantially identical elongate members which are connected together to form three sides of the frame, the elongate members are generally tubular and have a sign receiving channel to accept at least one sign and secure a stiffening member. The first side defines a sign receiving opening through which a sign is removably inserted The first side is made of a front member and a back member which are identical. The first side front and back members and the second, third and fourth side members are sized such that the two first side members are spaced apart from each other to define the sign receiving opening of the sign frame.

Abstract: A visual memorial system for a long term display of an archival print. A pigment-based print generated from a photograph is matted and placed within a resilient frame which is covered with tempered glass opaque to ultraviolet light. The frame is placed within a stainless steel casing which is attached to a gravestone by anchor bolts. The frame is preferably provided on its interior with a desiccant to remove any remaining moisture from the interior of the frame. The archival nature of the pigment-based print along with the sealing techniques used in the frame, produce a resulting memorial system capable of maintaining its clarity for over a century.

Abstract: A transparent globular photograph holder is provided herein. The holder consists of a pair of transparent semiglobular members--each such complementary transparent member consisting of a hollow semiglobe having a flat, planar, circular face, said flat, planar, circular face constituting an inner frame disc. Each such inner frame disc consists of an integrally-formed inner circular ring for co-operating together to provide back-up rings for holding two photographs, back-to-back, for two-way viewing. The hollow semiglobes are being selectively secured together at a selected area of their respective flat, planar, circular faces by hinge means. They also are releaseably temporarily locked together at another area of their respective flat, planar, circular faces by means of a flexible clasp on one of said inner frame discs which co-operates with a retaining slot in said other inner frame disc: means are provided for hanging the transparent globular photograph holder.

Abstract: An album used as a picture frame and a mirror is disclosed. The album has top and bottom frames pivoted to each other and a front cover pivoted to the top side of the bottom frame. The cover is provided with a mirror on its inside surface. A binder's board sheet is pivoted to the right side of the bottom frame such that the board sheet is positioned between the top and bottom frame. The top portion of the board sheet is provided with a pair of binder rings. A plurality of picture mount sheets are bound on the binder's board sheet by the binder ring. The binder's board sheet has a holding groove formed about the hinge pivoting the board sheet to the right side of the bottom frame.

Abstract: A flap-type indicating device includes two, co-axially mounted indicator assemblies and a resilient synchronizing element interposed therebetween for insuring the synchronous changing of the indicator elements upon the two assemblies at a predetermined time. A cam member, integrally formed upon the rotatable drum of one of the assemblies, is provided for axially biasing the synchronizing element toward the other one of the assemblies so as to prevent the changing of the indicator device prior to the predetermined time, and a lug member is operatively associated with one of the flaps of the first assembly for continuing the biasing action of the synchronizing element towards the other indicator assembly after the cam member has been released from the synchronizing element and until the occurrence of the predetermined time.

Abstract: A device is used for storing and recording on information cards composed of flexible material. Each card is pivotally mounted along one edge thereof within a housing having an observation opening for viewing the information cards. A holding support mechanism is disposed along the lower edge of the observation opening. The holding support mechanism includes an element that is pivotally mounted to swivel in one direction out of the path of the cards as they move downwardly past the lower edge of the observation opening. The holding mechanism is effective to hold the cards back when the cards are moved in the upward direction. The cards are elastically held up to a predetermined tension sufficient for the cards to jump to an upstanding position once it is released by the holding mechanism. The housing of the device may include a storage area for paper and writing styluses.
