Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure for shaping makeup brush, in which a makeup brush containing bristles, such as a lash brush or lip brush for regular use in make-up, includes a hollow bristle shell made of rubber or plastics that is molded with an arrangement of bristles to receive a shaping bar that is made in advance with a proper curving design to be inserted and enclosed therein, with a minute projecting positioning piece being formed at an end thereof to be inserted into and assembled with a recessed insertion slot formed in an inner end of the bristle shell. The bristle shell so assembled with the shaping bar is inserted into an insertion cavity formed in an end of the brush bar and pawls formed in a circumferential surface of the brush bar through punching engage and retain a recessed circumferential groove formed in the shaping bar.

A cap having an interior space sized to contain the applicator can attach to the applicator support or container to enclose the applicator thereby creating a substantially airtight seal and preventing paint in the applicator and the container from drying out. By detaching the applicator support from the container, paint may be poured into the container.

Overcap includes a plurality of complementary teeth spaced about its interior, and vanes spaced around the interior of the overcap. The two sets of teeth are normally maintained apart by spring fingers that provide an upwardly directed biasing force. When the closure is subjected to a downwardly directed force, the two sets of teeth are brought in alignment, and the vanes and pawl cooperate to provide a ratchet mechanism. The inner cap and outer cap are rotated as a unit, and provide sufficient torque to unseat the closure, and allow access to the contents of the nail polish bottle.
