Abstract: A pharmaceutical dispenser includes a substantially cylindrical dispenser body including a curved sidewall with a flat longitudinal surface, a base perpendicular to the flat longitudinal surface at a first end, an orifice at a second end, opposite the base, and a side portal spaced from the base; and a cap that can couple to the first end and to the second end. The curved sidewall has a side portal having a perimeter in an arced âTâ shape with rounded edges. The dispenser accommodates multiple capped cylindrical pharmaceutical containers.
Abstract: A writing instrument may include an upper pen barrel rotatably connected to a lower pen barrel. A spool valve and fluid reservoirs may be housed in the upper pen barrel. A writing tip secured to the lower pen barrel may be in selective fluid communication with the fluid reservoirs. The upper pen barrel may be rotatable relative to the lower pen barrel of the writing instrument.
Abstract: A cosmetic fluid dispenser, comprising in combination a vertically elongated housing structure containing upper and lower compartments, the lower compartment configured to receive and store cosmetic fluid; a dispenser tube projecting vertically from the lower interior of the lower compartment, upwardly into the upper compartment; a plunger movable vertically in the housing, the housing structure including a rotor rotatable to drive the plunger downwardly for effecting fluid displacement into and upwardly in the dispenser tube; and a valve for preventing inadvertent leakage of fluid from the tube, and characterized as openable in response to use of the dispenser.
Abstract: A combined toothbrush and toothpaste dispenser, and a disposable toothpaste cartridge for use therein, comprising a brush having a hollow neck and a base with a non-circular opening adapted to receive a complementary non-circular mouth on a disposable toothpaste cartridge. A split tubular element is adapted to be assembled to the brush base and is rotatable with respect thereto. Ribs on the tubular element are disposed so as to clamp the mouth-remote end of the toothpaste cartridge so that rotation of the tubular elememt with respect to the brush base squeezes toothpaste from the cartridge and through the brush neck to the brush head. A tapering shoulder on the toothpaste cartridge adjacent to the mouth cooperates with a ledge on the split tubular element for preventing sliding removal of the mouth from the brush base opening during use.
Abstract: Disclosed is a fountain toothbrush and a hollow handle, which are connected together to dispense toothpaste from a reservoir in the handle to the bristles of the toothbrush. Within the handle is a flexible tube which is secured at one end of the handle to prevent rotation and secured to a rotatable knob at the other end of the handle for rotation. Extending from the handle and through the toothbrush to the bristles is a conduit for extruding toothpaste to the bristles when the knob is rotated to twist the flexible tube thereby dispensing paste from the reservoir. Also provided is a cover for the toothbrush, which includes a stopper for sealing the conduit in the toothbrush.
