An actuator is anchored to the second surface and has at least a portion of a pressing pad extending through the orifice in the first surface. An inner side of the second surface comprises a contoured portion within the cavity, the contoured portion having a first end positioned toward the second endface and a second end positioned toward the first endface, wherein the contoured portion has a maximum height at or near the first end, and a minimum height at a position between the first end and the second end.

Abstract: An electronic transaction card for completing a transaction is provided, the card includes an integrated stylus that can be used to sign paper receipts. In some embodiments the stylus is constructed to have a metal alloy tip that leaves an indelible mark when abraded on paper and does not require replacement or replenishing like an ink pen or pencil. In one embodiment a transaction card is provided that is substantially rectangular and at least one of the corners is shaped to define a mount that is configured to engage a stylus of the above construction for signing paper receipts. In another embodiment a transaction card is provided with a stylus for signing paper receipts having a stylus arm that is integrated into the base of the transaction card and a stylus tip of the above construction for signing paper receipts.

Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention describe a product tube applicator contains a hollow elongated tube to hold an applicator ointment, a removable cap, and an abrasive element provided on the elongated tube and/or the removable cap. The abrasive element may be utilized to prepare the epidermal surface of a user before or after applying the ointment, for example to reduce chapped skin before application of ointment. The removable cap may contain an openable cover attached to the top portion of the removable cap that remains attached to the cap and flaps open away from the cap. One or more embodiments disclose the abrasive element located on one or more of the removable cap, the hollow elongated tube, the openable cover of the removable cap, on a removable flap, under the removable flap, on a sliding sleeve and under the sliding sleeve.

Abstract: Liquid dispensing applicators adapted to be mounted to a container of lubricating oil or degreaser and used to lubricate or apply degreaser to a drive chain of a bicycle or motorcycle are disclosed. The applicator housing has an open slot to receive the chain. A wear-resistant and absorbent pad is positioned within the housing to engage the chain. A conduit between the absorbent pad and the container transmits liquid to the absorbent pad such that the chain can be cleaned or lubricated.

Abstract: An applicator for vehicle polishing solution is provided. The user would fill the handle of the device with polishing solution and would be able to continuously polish the vehicle, dispersing the polishing solution at a controlled interval. This applicator would have a hollow tube constituting the handle of the device, which would curve approximately ninety degrees at each end. The top of the handle would have an opening to fill the device and an opening at the bottom to disperse the solution onto the sponge for application. The middle section of the handle would have a button that would enable the user to control the outflow of the solution onto the sponge. The bottom of the handle would be a ball-and-socket swivel joint that would connect the handle to a sponge mount, allowing the sponge mount to be tilted and rotated relative to the handle.

The package includes a container body having an interior chamber storing the anhydrous antiperspirant composition, a dome closing one end of the container body and having a plurality of apertures extending through the thickness of the dome. Abstract: An applicator includes a squeezer for pushing out a content liquid to an applicator part, and the shape of a content liquid delivering port of the applicator part is formed to be oval or rectangular while the minor axis and major axis on the delivery port side are specified to be 0.5 to 2 mm and 2 to 8 mm, respectively. In this applicator, large-sized particles can be delivered by enlargement of the bore inside the applicator part. Further, formation of an oval delivering port allows for drawing fine lines in the minor axis direction and thick lines in the major axis direction. Moreover, provision of small-diametric projections at the front end of applicator, enables drawing of long lines and retaining of the liquid cosmetic stored between projections.

Abstract: A device for applying paint includes a paint applicator and a guiding means, the guiding means consists of two guiding rollers, the axis of rotation of each roller being fixed in use such that the two axes are disposed at an angle to one another in the range from 50° to 130° . Abstract: A micro motion poppet valve for a writing instrument provides delivery of ink with large pigment particles to a porous writing nib with minimal nib movement and relatively light actuation forces. The micro motion poppet valve includes a nib connected to a valve stem, the valve stem being connected to a valve plug. A valve body is integrally formed with a biasing element, which biases the valve stem towards a closed position. When a user presses the nib against a writing surface the valve plug moves away from a raised valve seat located on the biasing element to allow ink to flow from an ink reservoir to the nib.

Abstract: Disclosed is a tooth brush implement having an articulating head region and a toothpaste dispensing body region. The head region comprises a horizontal crown hingeably connecting to a first and second perpendicular side portion. Abstract: A squeezable hermetically sealed vessel contains a whitening compound and an elongated applicator tip extending outwardly from the vessel. A cap closed and seals the applicator tip and the vessel, but may be removed under manual force. Once the cap is removed, the walls of the vessel may be squeezed together to urges the contents of the vessel to flow through a fluid passage through the elongated applicator tip to reach an accommodating surface. The accommodating surface may either be impregnated with a different material that reacts with the contents of the vessel upon contact or covers a chamber that in turn contains such a different material.
Abstract: The functionality and design of this pen is two-fold. The first, lower component is used as a writing implement and the second, upper component is the compartment/housing unit of the lip balm cartridge. The bottom portion of the pen houses the ink cartridge and the mechanical components of the pen. The pen tip is retractable. The upper portion of the pen is the housing chamber for the lip balm. The snap-in design allows a lip balm cartridge to be loaded and unloaded from the pen. Both halves of the pen, top and bottom are connected. Twisting the pen at the union of the lower and upper components releases and retracts the pen tip. The uniqueness of this invention is its' dual usage, one as a pen and the other as a lip balm housing unit.

Abstract: An eyeliner applicator of the present invention includes a pen tube, a bead, a connecting tube, a first water-absorbed member, a second water-absorbed member, a fixing means, and a retainer ring. The connecting tube has an applicator body, a pushing portion, a passage, an outer surface, and at least an abutting member. The passage comprises an upper section and a lower section. The first water-absorbed member is disposed in the upper section of the passage. The second water-absorbed member is disposed in the lower section of the passage. A density of the first water-absorbed member is greater than a density of the second water-absorbed member. The abutting member is disposed on the outer surface of the connecting tube. The retainer ring detachably clasps the outer surface. The present invention can prevent the water of ink from vaporizing and the water-absorbed members from absorbing much ink.
Abstract: An applicator apparatus can be attached and detached to and from any tube container that properly fits. The tube is not part of the invention, but works with the invention as a handle and as a dispenser. When the tube is attached to the applicator apparatus, the hole of the tube in which the tubes contents come out of, meets with the hole of the applicator apparatus. The applicator apparatus's hole is surrounded by an applicator material such as brush bristles or sponge. When the tube is squeezed, the tubes contents will come out of the hole of the applicator apparatus and be introduce onto the surrounding bristles of the brush or sponge of the applicator apparatus. The applicator apparatus attaches to a lid. The top portion of the lid has an opening in which the applicator apparatus can be placed into. The bottom portion of the lid can have a suction cup base that is to be secured onto a flat hard surface or a pull tab that can be taken off by a humans mouth.

Abstract: A dermis applicator having a container body and a main tubular volume has one or more applicators attached to a plastic base inserted in the main tubular volume inserted within the container body. A bottom mechanism attached to the main tubular volume rotates through a single circular ridge on the interior surface of the main container body and matching indentation about the vertical upper tube of the bottom mechanism. This bottom mechanism is moveably attached to the main tubular volume through a sliding member passing through an annular stopping location. A spiral groove interior of the bottom mechanism provides a guideway for protrusions from the sliding mechanism that match the spiral groove and make the device move upwards with user rotary action. The applicators themselves are either foam-sponge devices having a refreshing liquid. Alternatively attached to and integrated with another personal care device such as a toothbrush.

Abstract: An airless applicator may deliver high/low viscosity liquids or semi-liquids, and contains a valve controlling flow between a product reservoir and an intermediate pooling area, while a narrow opening between the intermediate pooling area and a product dispensing chamber controls flow therebetween. This arrangement prevents backflow to the product reservoir, precluding an influx of contamination therein. Product delivery is by specially adapted applicator heads. In one embodiment, a plurality of prongs, and openings into the product dispensing chamber, permit application of mascara onto eyelashes. Alternating prong heights increases effectiveness in applying mascara onto all sides of a user's lashes. Other applicator heads are configured for lip product applications such as for lipstick, and for eye products such as eyeliner and eye shadow.

Abstract: The invention (embodiments) is intended to increase the functional characteristics of a writing implement and allow for the improved visual monitoring of writing. This is achieved in that the writing implement comprises a holder, a body with a writing unit located therein and having a rod-type writing element, and a stem part, wherein the holder of the rod-type writing element is formed from sections having an arcuate form, wherein the sections are separated from each other in steps and have different lengths and angles of inclination to the horizontal, and the rod-type writing element is mounted in inclined fashion and is offset from the axis of the implement. The technical result is also achieved in that the writing implement comprises a holder, a body with a writing unit located therein and having a rod-type writing element, and a stem part, wherein the holder of the working component has an arcuate form, and the working component is mounted in inclined fashion and is offset from the axis of the implement.
