A LED or other light source is operated on the toy to interact with photo-luminescent ink and other inks pre-printed or included in a decoration on the surface of another item such as a book or other toy. The toy is a reading tool or a light source or an enhancement of other toys or writings. The LED light sources include a black light and/or other LED lights of other colors. The lights are connected to a circuit board and an integrated power source, which are connected to a switch encased on the toy.

Abstract: Implementations of a body hair removal pad for defibrillator usage (“defibrillator hair removal pad”) are provided. In some implementations, the defibrillator hair removal pad comprises a base (or base layer) and an adhesive layer. In some implementations, a method for using the defibrillator hair removal pad comprises positioning the adhesive layer on the skin of a heart attack victim and pulling the adhesive layer from the skin of the heart attack victim with the adhesive layer stuck to the body hair on the skin.

Abstract: Convertible writing instrument assemblies are provided, including an outer barrel having a tapered nosecone with an aperture for a writing instrument tip and a grip portion, and an aperture for receiving an eraser or a push button therethrough, wherein the writing instrument assembly provides selective access to a volume defined by the outer barrel, and wherein the outer barrel and the volume are collectively configured to operably and interchangeably receive a mechanical pencil insert having the eraser and a retractable pen insert having the push button. Mechanical pencils and pens utilizing the convertible writing instrument assemblies are also provided, along with kits for providing such mechanical pencils and pens.

Such a composition may include a liquid radio-opaque component that includes one or more radio-opaque materials that have been dissolved in a solvent, as well as a solid radio-opaque component with particles of one or more radio-opaque materials dispersed throughout a carrier, such as the solvent of the liquid radio-opaque component. Marking apparatuses that may be used to write with the radio-opaque composition are also disclosed, as are methods for using the radio-opaque composition.

Each rib formation directs restorative forces toward the implement end for holding the page turning device upon the implement end.

Abstract: This invention relates to the process for obtaining sheets made from seaweed that, when wrapped around a coal mine, wax mine or ink loads, give rise to the cylindrical and elongated cover of pencil or pen made based on algae, salt, bentonite and water, with a final layer of cotton thread optionally, tinctured with natural plant elements and having seeds at its rear end. The process for the production of films made from algae by heat treatment with the addition of salt and bentonite for making covers of pencil or pen comprises the following steps: i) boiling seaweed containing collagen for gelatinization together with salt and bentonite; ii) poring the gelatinized algae into the bowl and dip a graphite for writing; iii) subjecting to temperature for drying the algae and obtaining sheets; iv) cutting the sheets, according to the size of graphite for writing, leaving a space at the rear end to place the seeds; and iv) wrapping the graphite for writing with pieces of wet sheets to obtain a particular shape.

The present invention combines a manual random number generator and a scratching off implement with a writing instrument. One or more pieces of paper recording the lottery number selecting information can be stored inside the writing instrument through a longitudinal slot on the body of the writing instrument. Both the manual random number generator and the scratching off implement are located on the cap of the writing instrument.
