Abstract: A grill-cleaning tool has a water-absorbent layer fabricated from a material that is suitable for transferring a volume of water. A fire-resistant layer is disposed outwardly of the water absorbent layer. A scrubbing outer layer fabricated from a metallic-mesh material covers both the fire-resistant layer and the water-absorbent layer. The water-absorbent layer and the heat-resistant layer may be incorporated into a single unit or may be separate layers. Fasteners are provided for assembling the layers together to form an assembled grill-cleaning tool.

Abstract: An applicator used for evenly spreading a cream from a tube to which the applicator is attached. The applicator has a base unit that fits over the opening in the tube of cream and directs the cream through a hole in applicator unit, which is the upper part of the invention. The applicator unit has a spreader, which evenly distributes the cream onto a non-planar surface. The spreader is made from flexible, resilient material, and has a tip and wings that emanate out from the hole in the top of the spreader. When the applicator is used to spread cream in a crevice, the tip retains any excess cream behind it, and the wings bend back and evenly spread the cream along the sides of the crevice. The wings have side bevels that remove any sharp edges on the wings.

The container body includes a distal tube for holding the coating material. A front end portion of the distal tube has a distal tube tilt surface extending in a direction tilting to the axial direction. A shape of the coating material when viewed from a front side is a shape spreading in a major axis direction and a minor axis direction. The coating material has a distal end having an acute angle shape extending along the major axis direction, and a coating material tilt surface extending from the distal end in a direction tilting to the axial direction and tilting to the minor axis direction.

Abstract: A shaving aid application apparatus is disclosed. According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, the apparatus includes a containing portion configured to hold a shaving aid; a head coupled to one side of the containing portion, an aid applying surface formed at one surface of the head; and multiple jetting holes located at the aid applying surface. A spraying gap is defined between at least a portion of the containing portion and at least a portion of the head, and the shaving aid is expelled from the containing portion to pass through the spraying gap and provided through the multiple jetting holes.

Abstract: The invention relates to applicators for applying a solution or other composition (e.g., an antiseptic composition) to skin of a patient. The applicator may include a container body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a frangible member disposed at the distal end of the body. The applicator includes a first position where the container body and frangible member are a unitary piece (e.g., blow molded as a single piece), and a second position when the frangible member is rotated relative to the body to irreversibly break a weak point therebetween, releasing the composition in the hollow body through an opening. A porous applicator head may be positioned adjacent the distal end of the body and frangible member, so that the composition flows out the body, through the opening, and onto the head. The applicator may be formed in a blow-fill-seal process for improved sterility and ease of manufacture.

Bores extend into the housing from the first surface. Windows are disposed in the second surface of the housing that provide openings into the bores at various distances from the first surface. Each of the windows is of sufficient size to receive the tip of a marking pen to mark the shaft of a golf tee inserted into the bore. The measurement tool includes a base portion and a stem portion. The stem portion extends upwardly from the base portion and has spaced-apart apertures extending there through. The apertures are used to measure the height of the striking face of a golf club, which height is used to determine which window in the marking tool to use to mark the golf tee.

Abstract: A golf tee insertion depth marking device includes a housing having a first surface and a second surface. A plurality of bores extend from the first surface into the housing. Each bore has a diameter sufficient to receive the shaft of the golf tee when the shaft is inserted therein and a depth that is different from depths of other of the bores. A plurality of windows are disposed in the second surface of the housing. Each window provides an opening into a corresponding one of the bores. Moreover, the inner trimming surface of the trimming portion is arc-shaped, so that remnant sealant will be collected in the center of the inner trimming surface without overflowing, and the cleanliness of seam-filling operation is assured.

Over the reservoir is a cover having a series of spaced apart openings, each sized to receive a shaft of a golf tee. In the fluid container is an ink-impregnated sponge having wells that are sized to receive the shaft of the tee. Each well is axially aligned with a corresponding one of the openings in the cover. The bottom of the reservoir has ledges configured in stair step fashion that are aligned with the openings in the cover. When a golf tee is inserted through any of the openings, the shaft of the tee rubs against the inner surface of the well of the sponge which marks the shaft with ink. The height of the marking is determined by the height of the ledge below the tip of the tee.

Abstract: According to the invention, a surface cleaning device comprises an electrolytic cell for generating bleach for use with a cleaning pad. The electrolytic cell is in fluid communication with the cleaning pad for delivering bleach to a surface to be cleaned. According to another embodiment of the invention, the surface cleaning device is a hand-held cleaning device capable of selectively generating bleach at the request of a user directly in the cleaning pad. A sufficient amount of bleach for cleaning a surface can be generated within the electrolytic cell at the request of a user, eliminating the need for storing and transporting large quantities of bleach.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to construction tools. The present invention includes tools used for applying mastic or mud to a work surface, for example, a flat box mastic applicator tool, blade assembly, and/or blade adjustment system, that have many improvements too numerous to mention all in the Abstract. The flat box mastic applicator may include unique walls. The blade assembly may have a non-uniform cross section, e.g., a blade holder with thinner areas and/or material removed at various locations along its lateral length. The blade holder may have a larger size outer end(s) to withstand bending or braking. The blade holder may have and arched shape, ribs or bumps for holding a blade more firmly, and a ridge or bump at its outer edge to act as a dam. The blade adjustment system may include symmetrical pins or posts and a tapered leaf spring. See further improvements herein.

Abstract: A system for applying a coating to an untextured portion of a destination surface comprises a tube member defining a container opening, texture material within the tube member, a sponge member defining an applicator surface and a sponge opening. The texture material comprises a binder and visually perceivable discrete particles. The sponge member is secured to the tube member such that the texture material can flow out of the tube member through the sponge opening. The texture material is displaced out of the tube member and onto the applicator surface. The applicator surface of the sponge member is displaced substantially along a dispensing axis perpendicular to the applicator surface towards and away from the destination surface with the applicator surface substantially parallel to the destination surface to transfer the texture material to the destination surface.

Abstract: A dispensing system for spreadable foodstuffs and spreadable non-food substances allowing for dispensing of metered amounts of product and spreading without the need for additional utensils not part of the packaging is disclosed. The system is composed of a disposable container containing a spreadable food stuff or non-food substance. The container comprises a mechanism for dispensing said foodstuff or non-food substances while proportionally decreasing the volume of the container. An alternative embodiment discloses a disposable dispenser allowing for spreading foodstuffs or non-food substances without any additional utensils in an ultra-portable unit without mechanical components.

Abstract: A waxing dispenser has a nozzle with a plurality of channels for delivering hot wax to a nozzle surface placed into contact with the skin. By pressing on the dispenser as its surface is moved over the skin a uniform layer of hot wax is laid down. The nozzle may be easily replaced with one of a different size or shape and the product may be acquired with a selection of the nozzles. The dispenser is designed to be sold at a low price so that it may be considered a one-use item to be disposed of after one or two uses.

Abstract: A medicine supply apparatus including a powder medicine dispensing portion that houses and dispenses a powder medicine is provided. The medicine supply apparatus includes: a leveling tool for leveling a surface of the housed powder medicine; and a leveling tool holder that holds the leveling tool. This configuration prevents the leveling tool from being easily lost, and eliminates the need to look for the leveling tool in every leveling. This allows an operator to quickly take out the leveling tool when needed, thereby providing good workability.

Abstract: A plaster applicator for corners where walls meet includes a sleeve and a long tube slidably received within the sleeve. A piston is attached to the sleeve by a connector. The piston is concentrically received within the long tube whereby a sliding movement of the sleeve along the long tube provides a sliding movement of the piston within the long tube and vice versa. Further, the piston includes a gasket to prevents mud from leaking behind the piston. An applicator has a hole at an applicator end of the long tube. The hole provides liquid communication between the interior and the exterior of the long tube. A wedge is releasably mounted to the applicator.

The conduit may include a single discharge hose or may include a plurality of discharge hoses. The handle may include a first support and a second support acting as a grip for a user to grasp the tool. The handle may further include at least one hole formed in the handle to receive the conduit. The finish-compound receiving member may include a finish-compound receiving surface having at least one opening formed therein. The conduit leads from a pump that is in communication with a reservoir of finish compound to the at least one hole in the handle. The handle also includes a hollow interior, such that finish compound is pumped through the conduit into the hollow interior.

Abstract: Disclosed are replaceable cleaning pads capable of delivering a bleaching agent and a detersive composition to surfaces being cleaned. The pads are constructed to retain bleach separate from detersive ingredients and certain other chemicals prior to use, yet permit rapid delivery of the combined chemicals to the surface being cleaned once the pad is wetted. Most preferably a detersive mixture is melt-anchored to the pad. In one form, the pad is a two layer pad, and in another form, the pad is a three layer pad.
