Abstract: A tool for applying finish compound to a structural member is disclosed. The tool includes a conduit, a handle and a finish-compound receiving member. The conduit may include a single discharge hose or may include a plurality of discharge hoses. The handle may include a first support and a second support acting as a grip for a user to grasp the tool. The handle may further include at least one hole formed in the handle to receive the conduit. The finish-compound receiving member may include a finish-compound receiving surface having at least one opening formed therein. The conduit leads from a pump that is in communication with a reservoir of finish compound to the at least one hole in the handle. The handle also includes a hollow interior, such that finish compound is pumped through the conduit into the hollow interior.

Abstract: Disclosed are replaceable cleaning pads capable of delivering a bleaching agent and a detersive composition to surfaces being cleaned. The pads are constructed to retain bleach separate from detersive ingredients and certain other chemicals prior to use, yet permit rapid delivery of the combined chemicals to the surface being cleaned once the pad is wetted. Most preferably a detersive mixture is melt-anchored to the pad. In one form, the pad is a two layer pad, and in another form, the pad is a three layer pad.

In a container 100, when a main body cylinder 2 and an operation cylinder 3 are relatively rotated in an extending direction and relatively rotated in a retracting direction, a female screw member 5 and a moving member 4 relatively rotate, the moving member 4 moves forward and moves backward according to a screwing action of screwing sections 8, and click teeth 54 and 64 also relatively rotate in synchronization with each other. Since an elastic body 61 urges the click teeth 64 toward the click teeth 54, a sense of click is given when the moving member 4 moves forward and moves backward.

Abstract: A squeegee apparatus for coating mixed materials on a surface is used in combination with a source of pressurized activator and resin in fluid communication with a mixing tube having an outlet. The squeegee apparatus includes a manifold in fluid communication with the outlet of the mixing tube. The squeegee is held by either the manifold or a handle. At least one distribution tube is provided to distribute the coated material, where the tube has a length with a plurality of holes to dispense the mixed materials during use. The distribution tube is fluid communication with the outlet of the mixing tube, with the distribution tube being fastened to the manifold. Moreover, an elongated squeegee is fastened to the manifold. The squeegee has an edge configured to spread the mixed materials during use. The distribution tube and the squeegee edge are aligned along substantially parallel axes and held in fixed relationship to each other by the manifold.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a grout dispensing system comprising: a suction mechanism that draws grout material into an elongated tube; a dispensing channel attached to a first end of the elongated tube; a suction handle extending through the elongated tube, where the suction handle draws grout into the tube when moved in a first direction and dispenses grout into the dispensing channel when moved in a second direction; a plurality of dispensing tips disposed below the dispensing channel; and a squeegee on one side of the dispensing channel. In one exemplary embodiment, the suction mechanism includes a suction cup at one end of the suction handle, where said suction cup is within said elongated tube; a suction opening at a lower end of the elongated tube; and a suction tube extending from the suction opening. The distal end of suction tube lies in a deposit of grout.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to construction tools. The present invention includes tools used for applying mastic or mud to a work surface, for example, a flat box mastic applicator tool, blade assembly, and/or blade adjustment system, that have many improvements too numerous to mention all in the Abstract. The flat box mastic applicator may include unique walls. The blade assembly may have a non-uniform cross section, e.g., a blade holder with thinner areas and/or material removed at various locations along its lateral length. The blade holder may have a larger size outer end(s) to withstand bending or braking. The blade holder may have and arched shape, ribs or bumps for holding a blade more firmly, and a ridge or bump at its outer edge to act as a dam. The blade adjustment system may include symmetrical pins or posts and a tapered leaf spring. See further improvements herein.

A flexible container, texture, material, a sponge base, a resilient sponge are provided. The resilient sponge is adhered to the sponge base to form a sponge assembly. The texture material is arranged within the container chamber, and the sponge member is fixed relative to the container. Texture material is forced out of the container member and onto an applicator surface. At least a portion of the texture material on the applicator surface is transferred to the untextured portion of the destination surface by displacing the container member along the dispensing axis towards the destination surface with the applicator surface substantially parallel to the destination surface.

Abstract: A method of patching a destination surface to substantially match a structure of an existing sprayed on visible texture pattern. A sponge member is displaced in a dabbing direction towards and away from the destination surface to transfer texture material to the destination surface. Individual particles of the texture material are supported by binder on the applicator surface such that at least a portion of the structure at least some of the individual particles supported on the applicator surface visibly extend from the destination surface. The portion of the structure of the individual particles supported by the binder that extends outwardly from the binder on the destination surface forms a visible structure on the destination surface. The visible structure substantially matches the structure of the existing sprayed on visible texture pattern.

Flow elements (9, 10, 11) to convey the adhesive from the feed opening (5) to the nozzle openings (8, 33) are provided in the interior (4) of the nozzle housing (1) and at least one flow element (9, 10, 11) that has an inflow edge (12) and an outflow edge (13) and that is oriented in such a way that the flow element, while being completely surrounded by the volume flow of adhesive, uniformly distributes the volume flow of adhesive, taking into consideration the different flow paths leading from the feed opening (5) to the individual nozzle openings (8, 33).

The glue flows through plural vanes or plural transversely positioned openings and passes to form two opposite layers of glue. A dowel applicator applies a thin substantially uniform layer of glue on the wall of a dowel-receiving hole prior to installation of dowel pins.

Abstract: A cosmetic stick applicator for treating the lips of a person. The applicator has an elongate, tubular body with an inner chamber for storing a chemical formulation or substance such as an exfoliant, to be applied to the lips. One end of the body has an external, oblique, lip-engageable abrasive applicator surface containing a product-dispensing orifice through which the substance can be ejected. Such ejection is accomplished by means of a finger-engageable wheel that is turned to forcibly discharge the substance through the orifices and onto the applicator surface. Thereafter this surface which now contains the discharged substance, is rubbed against the lips and thus effects a scrubbing thereof, which brings about gentle and controlled exfoliation of accumulated dead skin cells. Following this, excess dead cell material can be wiped off with a tissue or pad.

The scrubbing assembly includes a support structure from which a deformable tab extends. The deformable tab is configured to cooperatively engage a recess in the container. Abstract: An adhesive composition applicator includes a housing having sidewalls and a neck that tapers to an opening. The housing encloses a gelled adhesive composition. The housing has a cross-sectional area and the opening has a cross-sectional area less than that of the housing cross-sectional area. A cap is provided that engages the housing. A mechanism is provided for urging the gelled composition material from the housing through the opening. The neck optionally also includes a shield to prevent gelled adhesive composition from running down the neck and provides a barrier against gelled adhesive smear reaching the point of intersection between the cap and the housing. To facilitate application of gelled composition to a point of application, a spatula is provided adjacent to the opening.

The compound passes from the tube through the applicator by way of a slit, and that slit is formed by an arrow shaped element placed in front of a hole. The hole is at the apex. Wheels located on wedges allow the applicator to roll on walls. The wedges extend integrally from the flaps.

Abstract: A dispensing device includes inner and outer compartments for housing two different cosmetic liquid materials therein, the outer compartment secured to a cap by threading; a spring biased valve for blocking both openings of the inner and outer compartments when the device is in an inoperative position; and an outlet assembly partially fastened in the valve. The cover may be oriented with respect to the pushing cap so that when the cover is pressed in a first direction, the pushing cap moves in the first direction, and snaps into a first position on the container while breaking the seal, and allows the solvent to come out of the container and out of the foam housing.
