Abstract: A disposable toothbrush apparatus incorporates a dentifrice and at least one rinsing fluid within its hollow body. The apparatus includes a brush component having a series of bristles secured to it and an opening between the bristles that connects to an internal lumen within the apparatus containing the dentifrice for automatic dispensing thereof. The apparatus also includes a handle component with a hollow interior portion. The tapered upper end of the handle forms a coupling area adapted to fit within the lumen of the brush component. The hollow handle component contains compartments for rinsing fluid so that no external source of liquid is required to brush ones teeth.

Abstract: A toothbrush has a toothbrush head, a toothbrush bar and a toothpaste container. The toothpaste container is a gas-filled container, and a gas nipple is provided at the bottom of the toothpaste container. A pipe channel is provided in the toothbrush bar, the toothpaste container is communicated with the toothbrush head through the pipe channel via a valve. The toothbrush bar is hinged to the toothpaste container by a spherical hinged joint formed by the end of the toothbrush bar. The spherical hinged joint controls the valve to discharge toothpaste in the toothpaste container into the pipe channel and the toothbrush head. The invention is convenient especially for children, the elder, the blind and the disabled.

Abstract: A nail polish applicator that can be easily held and operated with one hand and that consistently dispenses a controlled amount of nail polish comprises an elongated tubular housing including a reservoir for holding a quantity of nail polish; an applicator attached to one end of the housing for applying the nail polish to the user's fingernails or toenails; and a dispensing mechanism for dispensing the nail polish from the reservoir to the applicator. The dispensing mechanism includes an elongated slot formed in the sidewall of the housing, a slider or other manually manipulatable button movable within the slot, and a plunger mechanism attached to the button for incrementally dispensing the nail polish from the reservoir when the button is moved within the length of the slot.

Abstract: A cleaning brush assembly includes a control handle, an extension pipe mounted on a second end of the control handle, a angle adjustable pipe module mounted on the extension pipe, and a cleaning portion mounted on the angle adjustable pipe module. The control handle includes a connecting member, a control seat, a control shaft, a switch member, and a control valve. Thus, the cleaning water is introduced into the primary flow channel for flushing use and can also be mixed with the detergent in the primary flow channel for cleaning use by rotation of the control valve, thereby facilitating a user operating cleaning brush assembly.

Abstract: A liquid applicator includes: an applicator body in which a storage tank for storing a paint is incorporated; brush elements, made up of multiple fiber bundles embedded on a base, parallel to each other in the axial direction so that the fiber bundles are directed forwards; and a valve element provided in the storage tank for allowing supply of the paint to the brush elements in the applying portion. This liquid applicator further has inside its front barrel, a blocking element formed with a liquid flow passage so as to block the paint supplied from the storage tank whilst partly allowing the paint to be supplied to the tip side of the front barrel by way of the flow passage.

Abstract: An applicator for applying a product, includes a handling element secured to an application member. The application member includes a base and an application support is mounted on the application member. The application support defines an application surface. The applicator includes a manipulation member designed to alter a profile of the application surface at right angles to a mid-plane of the base. At least one passage passes through the base. A portion of the manipulation member extends through the at least one passage so that the manipulation member can be placed in engagement with the application support so as to alter the profile of the application surface. The applicator can be used, for example, for treating or applying makeup to the face.

Abstract: A fluid-containing brush (10) has a housing (11) with a generally cylindrical side wall (12) closed at one end by a base (20) carrying brush bristles (25) and at the other by a removable cap (50). The housing (11) defines a fluid reservoir and the base (20) has a central bore (21) therein closed by a valve member (32) for dispensing liquid to the brush bristles (25). A valve stem (31) extends up to an actuator button (58) formed on the cap (50). The button (58) is made of elastomeric material and is used to actuate the valve to dispense cleaning fluid. A sealing ring (64) is provided between the cap (50) and housing (11) to ensure a fluid tight connection between the cap (50) and the side wall (12).

Abstract: Applicator tube for cosmetic products, particularly mascara, having a tubular outer body. A cap fitted on one end of the tubular body has a rod attached to it, and an applicator is attached at the other end or the rod. The applicator is disposed inside the tubular body, in a longitudinally moveable part, and is removable therefrom to apply the cosmetic product. A removable container is at the lower end of the tubular body. A deformable part is disposed above the container whereby pressing down and releasing the cap causes mascara to be drawn into the applicator tube from the removable container to impregnate the applicator, which can then be withdrawn from the tubular body to apply the mascara. In another embodiment, the applicator moves between a retracted position inside the tubular body and an extended position when the removable container is pushed into the tubular body and thereafter withdrawn.

Abstract: A brush with an automatic water control valve is disclosed. The brush includes a handle portion pivotably connected to an actuation portion and rigidly attached to a brush portion. A fluid passageway is provided through the handle portion into the bristles of the brush. Communicating with the fluid passageway is the flexible tubing which is adapted to be connected to a water fluid source under pressure. A valve is provided for opening and closing the passageway formed by the tubing and for providing flow through the passageway to the brush portion. The valve is actuated by a pivoting motion of the actuation portion with respect to the handle portion. The valve includes a roller which engages the flexible tubing and squeezes same, such that the normal rest position of the actuation portion with respect to the handle portion closes the tubing.

Abstract: A cleaning implement is provided with an internal valve for automatic water shut-off which can be regulated by hand. The implement connects to a conventional water supply, for example, a garden hose. When the valve is open, water is supplied through a removable sponge or brush to a surface to be cleaned. The valve is opened when two portions of the implement are pivoted with respect to each other. This can be done by pressing the sponge or brush against a surface to be cleaned, pivoting the two portions of the implement and thereby opening the valve. Alternatively, the two portions can be held by handles, one in either hand, and pivoted to open and close the valve. An opening is provided in the brush or sponge to allow water to stream from a nozzle to the surface to be cleaned, unobstructed. A soap dispenser is also incorporated into the implement. The nozzle and soap dispenser direct fluid from the user when the implement is held in the hands. The implement may be used with other fluids not water.

Abstract: A brush with automatic water shut-off is disclosed. The brush includes a handle portion pivotally connected to a body portion with a valve chamber intermediate to control water flow through the brush. A flutter valve is loosely positioned within the valve chamber and is continuously biased toward the valve chamber seat by the water pressure. An operating rod is movable within the body portion and extends past the plane of the seat. When the brush is not in use, water pressure forces the flutter valve toward the seat and contact between the flutter valve and the operating rod causes the body portion and handle portion to be pivotally offset with no water flowing. When the brush bristles contact the surface to be cleaned, the body and brush portions are urged into axial alignment about the pivot whereby the operating rod will force the flutter valve off of its seat, thereby automatically causing water flow through the brush.

The toothpaste is isolated from the bristles by a protective film. A safety cap retains the toothbrush back separate from the toothbrugh body. Removal of the cap allows the back to approach the body, which causes tearing of the protective film and distribution of the toothpaste onto the bristles.

Abstract: The valve system described herein comprises a valve for controlling the flow of paint to a brush, roller or other paint spreading device which is actuated to permit the flow of paint through the valve by the pressure applied to the spreading device. The valve comprises a valve stem having an opening therein for the flow of paint, a valve head fastened rigidly to the valve stem and a chamber in which a lower part of the wall thereof comprises a valve seat. This system operates in such a manner that a pressure applied at an angle to the linear axis of the valve stem tilts the valve head against one portion of the adjacent valve seat thereby pressing one side of the valve head out of normal position so that there is an open space between the valve head and the valve seat through which paint may flow into the opening in the valve stem and ultimately into the paint spreading device.

Abstract: Dispenser-container brush for paste material, comprising:(a) a stem or handle having a flexible wall, internally hollow reservoir portion, an intermediate zone provided with means for the engagement of a bristle holder head member; and a substantially rigid elongated portion, said elongated portion having a dispensing opening for the paste material;(b) a substantially rigid bristle holder head member, having a bristle arrangement on an outer side or face and comprising an inner cavity of shape and size substantially corresponding to those of said elongated handle portion: a portion for engagement in said means on the intermediate handle portion, and a dispensing hole for the paste material in the face or side provided with said bristles, the position of said dispensing hole being such that the hole can be brought in register with said dispensing opening in the handle.
