  • Patent number: 8651763
Abstract: Provided is a cosmetic brush. The cosmetic brush includes a cylindrical bottle, a body, a hair holder, a filter, a sleeve, and a cap. When makeup is applied, the sleeve descends. When the sleeve is stored, the sleeve ascends to easily close the cap. When the sleeve descends, a powder is supplied toward hairs. When the sleeve ascends (is stored), the supply of the powder is intercepted to prevent the powder from being unnecessarily discharged, thereby preventing other portable products from being damaged. Also, when the sleeve is stored, the sleeve blocks the powder discharge hole to prevent the powder remaining within the discharge hole from being hardened by moisture, thereby smoothly discharging the powder.

Abstract: An application device includes an applicator unit (12) which is provided with an applicator (14) and which has a cylindrical peg (18) on the side facing away from the applicator (14), which is penetrated by a cross channel (26), from which an axial channel (28) branches off, which leads to the applicator (14), in which a shiftable reservoir (30) is arranged. The reservoir (30) has an annular lip seal (38) which interacts as a seal with the cylindrical peg (18). The activation of the application device occurs by shifting the reservoir (30) on the cylindrical peg (18) in the direction of the applicator (14). The reservoir (30) has a foldable, bag-like, deformable receiver section (34), so that when a flow connection between the application device and the cross channel (26) and the receiver section (34) is established in the activation position, the flowable substance is discharged via the applicator (14) through manual deformation of the bag-like receiver section (34).

Abstract: A liquid dispenser includes a deformable container, a sealing unit and a brush unit. The container defines a liquid-storing space therein, and has a liquid-discharging opening for discharging a liquid contained in the liquid-storing space. The sealing unit is mounted movably on the container, defines a fluid channel, and is formed with a sealing member. The sealing unit is movable relative to the container between a closed position, in which the sealing member covers the liquid-discharging opening, and an opened position, in which the sealing member is spaced apart from the liquid-discharging opening. The brush unit is mounted on the sealing unit, includes a brush member, and defines a fluid passage in fluid communication with the liquid-discharging opening through the fluid channel when the sealing unit is disposed at the opened position.

Abstract: A gel dispensing hair brush having a plurality of hollow bristles tapering from a head of the brush to a free end at a tip of the bristle for dispensing a gel from within a storage reservoir of the brush. The bellows or storage device from which the gel is dispensed is maintained between four guide ramps located surrounding the bellows. Each opposed set of guide ramps intersects at an obtuse angle so as to guide the sides of the bellows upwardly as the bellows is compressed by a compression plate. Compression of the bellows is achieved by rotation of a thumb wheel extending through the handle of the brush. The recesses and projections of the thumb wheel interengage with complementary shaped recesses and projections found on a toothed side of an indexing bar. On an opposite side of the indexing bar, opposite to the thumb wheel, is a smooth guide roller for maintaining an accurate movement of the indexing bar between the thumb wheel and guide roller. A dispensing plate is movable under the head of the brush.
