Abstract: A ballpoint pen is provided with a discreetly packed condom and includes a writing head part having a point and filler for writing fluid with a cylindrical shell connected to the writing head part which discreetly contains at least one condom.

Abstract: A writing system is provided for use in both dry and wet environments and includes a holder adapted to be releasably supported by a wall surface and defining pen and note pad receptacles. The holder forms a perforate bottom wall permitting drainage of water from the receptacles. One receptacle supports a waterproof pen. The other receptacle receives a waterproof note pad composed of waterproof sheet material such as Tyvek paper-like material which are bound in assembly to form a note pad. To facilitate all weather use of written materials and writing materials, water-proof paper-like materials is employed on which is printed information with water-proof ink and/or written information with a water-proof writing instrument.

Abstract: A multipurpose lighter with a container for liquefied gas or other fuel, and an igniting mechanism arranged on the upper side of the container, the container having in its lower region a partition defining a lower hollow space for a lipstick. The lipstick can be extended or advanced as it is used to continually provide an exposed surface when a closing cap at the bottom of the lighter is removed.

Abstract: A writing instrument kit is set forth wherein a writing instrument is provided with a cap and body portion, each of a generally cylindrical configuration defined about a single axis, wherein the cap or body portion is each provided with a hook and loop fastener surface. The hook and loop fastener surface of the body portion is in surrounding relationship to the body and is optionally provided with slots for reception of a flexible sleeve formed with complementary projections receivable within the slots for use of the instrument without abrasion to an individual's hand. The kit includes a cleaning member and a securement pad formed with a hook and loop fastener surface for adhesive securement to a support surface as desired by an individual.

Abstract: This invention discloses a ballpoint pen which is capable of generating a "click" sound when the first tube of the pen is rotated over either of two predetermined positions. The ballpoint pen includes a first engaging member, a second engaging member, a medium tube, an ink reservoir tube, a sleeve, a compression spring, a support, and a rod. Thus, the main principle of the present invention is to cause a "click" sound to be produced as the ballpoint of the pen is extended or withdrawn, through the interaction of the first and second engaging members when the first tube of the pen is rotated.

Abstract: A writing instrument A with note paper 36, 38 is disclosed which includes a retractable writing instrument carrier 10 and a paper storage chamber E from which paper may be dispensed through a dispensing slot 42 formed along a substantial portion of a barrel B of the device P. Carrier 10 includes a reservoir 12 of writing medium and a writing point 12. A thumb operator 32 provides for positioning of the carrier in a writing or retracted position. The carrier also may move axially along a slot 24 to position a spare paper roll 38 in a dispensing position as paper roll 36.

Abstract: A cable securing device for removably securing a cable to a base fixture including a cylindrical plug connected to one end of the cable and a wire mesh grip secured within a hole in the base for grippingly engaging the plug. A release key is provided for releasing the grip. The use of the device to secure a pen to a pen and base set is described.

Abstract: A writing instrument has an inner barrel defining a compartment for storing writing leads, an outer front barrel encircling a forward portion of the inner barrel and an outer rear barrel encircling a rearward portion of the inner barrel. The outer rear barrel is angularly displaceable about the inner barrel but not axially displaceable relative thereto. An eraser holder is mounted within the rearward portion of the inner barrel and holds an elongate eraser which can be extended and retracted in response to angular displacement of the outer rear barrel in opposite directions.

Abstract: A slip-holding pen includes a slip reel, having a paper roll with its two opposite ends coated and bonded by an adhesive, rotatably mounted in a penholder and a rotating knob clickingly rotating the slip reel to reel off the slip paper as originally wound on the reel through a longitudinal slit which is formed on the penholder having acute wedges formed at the slit to tear the adhesive-bonded slip paper, so that the knob can be rotated to easily unroll the paper slip directly from the pen for an immediate writing use.

The carriage member is provided with a cantilevered arm having an arcuate outer edge which normally bears against serrations provided on the inner wall of the pencil end-segment to effectively lock the carriage member in position. The carriage member can be released and slideably moved to feed the tip of the length of lead for writing by depressing a button on the end of a stem which extends through a longitudinal slot in the pencil end-segment and serves to free the arcuate outer edge of the arm. The pen end-segment, which is threadably detachably connected to the pencil end-segment, encloses a replaceable unit including a magazine for ink and a ball point writing member.

Abstract: A knock-out type mechanical pencil has a supporting rod mounted with an eraser at its rear end and axially slidably engaged within the interior of a cylindrical knock-button. A tubularly cylindrical weight is axially slidably engaged around the supporting rod. A cylindrical magnet is axially magnetized and secured to the inner peripheral surface of the knock-button. An annularly inwardly raised guide portion is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the knock-button for guiding the weight to the axial line of the knock-button when the weight is axially slidably dropped downwardly toward the writing tip of the pencil. To protrude and fix an eraser from the rear end of the tubular cylindrical body, the rear end of the pencil is tilted downward. To automatically contain or retract the eraser in the knock-button, the writing tip of the pencil is directed downwardly in writing state.

Abstract: A composition capable of forming colored complexes with transition metal salts is provided which comprises an aromatic substituted hydrazone carried in an organic cosolvent vehicle. When employed in the art of carbonless paper the aromatic substituted hydrazone and the transition metal salt complex to form yellow colored images. The invention provides means for producing dark, black, neutral images by the reaction of the aromatic substituted hydrazones and conventional dithiooxamide complexing compounds, both carried in an organic cosolvent vehicle, with transition metal salts.

Abstract: A music marking pencil is provided for use in combination with a violin bow or the like. The device attaches to the hand held end portion of a violin bow or the like and can be used by the musician to mark his music or perform similar writing tasks as needed. The device provides a pencil which can be a threaded mechanical mechanism affixed at the end portion of the violin bow which is normally hand held. The pencil aligns itself with the central axis of the bow with the pencil marking tip protruding beyond the hand held end portion of the bow. In the preferred embodiment, the pencil structure replaces the bow screw which normally adjusts tension of the bow hair. Thereafter, the bow pencil additionally provides the hair adjustment function.
