    Abstract: A mop with a platen-shaped cleaning head member, to be used for dry or wet applications, with or without cleaning sheets, suited to be used as a liquid dispensing mop. An abrasive scrubber support is integrally formed with and extends from the forward upper surface of the cleaning head member. An abrasive scrubber component is secured to the support. The cleaning head member is connected to the mop's handle by a swivel joint which permits easy and ready rotation of the cleaning head member, 360° in relation to the handle.     Abstract: The method of continuously manufacturing pencils or crayons consists in coextruding a filled first thermoplastic material referred to as “lead” material, and around it both an intermediate “protective” layer of a thermoplastic material having no expanding agent and a second thermoplastic material containing an expanding agent and referred to as “wood” material, and in cooling said coextruded thermoplastic materials. According to the invention, the thermoplastic material constituting the protective layer is determined so that during cooling it remains deformable while the lead material shrinks. The pencil is constituted by superposing a core of a filled first thermoplastic material referred to as “lead” material, a protective layer of a non-expanded thermoplastic material, and a layer of an expanded second thermoplastic material referred to as “wood” material.

    Abstract: A depilatory wax stick which is simple, low cost and easy to use, particularly on facial and neck surfaces and other small areas and even in delicate areas where very fine wax deposition is required. In a preferred embodiment disclosed herein, the wax stick is generally cylindrical and is about 10 cm long and has a slightly tapered shape with a 1.8 cm diameter base and a 1.5 cm diameter free end which is rounded to form about a 1.0 cm application tip. Because there is no required flow of wax through an aperture or passage or onto a roller, the stick may be shaped in virtually unlimited ways to facilitate extremely fine application control. In its simplest form, the base of the stick is held in a tapered plastic cap which provides a stable flat surface. An external housing may be provided to promote convenient storage and to prevent contamination of the wax between uses.
