In another approach, the tile frame is a single element and the tile panel may snap or attach thereto, such as, for example, through fasteners or friction.

    Abstract: A method for applying a patch to a spacer discontinuity or other seal breach includes the step of applying pressure to the patch during the application of the patch to cause sealant carried by the patch to be injected into the spacer discontinuity. This step can be performed with or without the application of heat. Pressure is applied to the patch long enough to position the sealant entirely across the gap between the lights such that the sealant wets out against both interior glass surfaces. Pressure is also applied to the patch long enough to inject sealant into openings defining the discontinuity. A sealant is then applied over the entire patch. The structure of the patch and the patched IG unit are provided.

The counter assembly comprises an innovative metal framework having modules connected by angled splices to enhance customization into variable shapes and sizes. Cross-supporting framework and perimeter rails may be added to incorporate customized components for drawers, shelving, appliances, storage, access doors, vents, and the like. The framework is capable of supporting countertops formed in a shape corresponding to the shape of the modular assembly. Side panels may be supported on the framework for purposes of enclosing the assembly, said panels being attached by a plurality of metal clips designed to fit into the metal framework with extensions designed to secure the side panels. The framework and components of the counter assembly are moveable, rearrangeable, and replaceable.

    Abstract: Since an inside piece of a joint block is abutted to a rib of a second opposed piece under a pressure by engaging a first opposed piece of a frame member with the joint block, the inside piece can be securely abutted at the position of the rib even when the second opposed piece and the joint block are slightly deformed, which secures a predetermined joint intensity by preventing a variation of the abutment position. Since the joint block is abutted with the rib, the pressure per a dimension can be more increased than abutting with the whole surface of the inside piece, which consequently increases the frictional force to improve the joint intensity.
