Abstract: Cable railing systems are described for commercial and residential settings. Although not limited to these applications, the cable railing systems can be used with solid wood support members or with solid concrete support members without weld plates. Some of the described examples include straight and corner cable termination assemblies that are designed to support a metal cable railing, particularly one that is heavy gauge.

Abstract: A dual ended handle such as that used with cleaning implements is provided. The dual ended handle comprises a pole with a first end and a second end, the first end having a first threaded fastener and an implement connecting feature having a tapered cone, the second end having a second threaded fastener and a locking member. A grip having a first end is configured to releasably engage at least one of the first threaded fastener or the implement connecting feature, and a second end configured to releasably engage the second threaded fastener.

Abstract: The present application provides a nut fastener, comprising a mounting nut and an adjustment bolt. The mounting nut comprises retaining arms and a nut receiving passage. The adjustment bolt is configured to be at least partially received in the nut receiving passage and comprises a bolt receiving passage. A bushing is arranged in the bolt receiving passage of the adjustment bolt and over molded onto a side wall of the bolt receiving passage by means of two-shot injection molding. The nut fastener in the present application is easy to mount and use.

The adaptor is configured for attachment to the structure and includes a base member having a slot configured to receive the flange or a second twist-lock connector configured to attach to the first twist-lock connector. The device has a generally rectangular prismatic form that sheds precipitation and ice. It has a top surface upon the lid, a bottom surface upon the hull, a left side, a right side, a front, and a back. The enclosure has an extension that fits into a light fixture. The back of the enclosure has a receiver that fits upon a light pole arm. The enclosure has a width generally greater than that of the cobra arm. Within the invention, it has a storage capacity for electrical components. The invention is an inline enclosure for direct transmission of electrical power and signaling. The invention serves in a system where a central control operates street lighting across a city.

A cable puller is coupled to the cable and has at least one slot for receiving the cable. The cable puller also has a plate for engaging the button. The cable puller has a sleeve with an upstream end and a downstream end, and the plate is located on the upstream end. The plate prevents movement of the button upstream of the plate.

Abstract: A system for attaching an accessory to a firearm includes a muzzle device configured for attachment to the muzzle end of the firearm, the muzzle device having a first coarse-threaded engagement means and one of an annular grooved surface and a grooved surface engagement mechanism, and an adapter device. The adapter device includes an adapter having a forward portion including an accessory engagement means for receiving the accessory and a rearward portion having a second coarse-threaded engagement means formed on an inner surface of the adapter, a biasing mechanism received on the rearward portion, and a retainer ring received on the rearward portion adjacent to the biasing mechanism, the retainer ring having the other of the annular grooved surface and the grooved surface engagement mechanism. The male coarse-threaded engagement means and the female coarse-threaded engagement means cooperate to releasably secure the adapter device to the muzzle device.

The standoff includes a first part with an external threading and a second part with an internal threading configured to engage with the external threading of the first part. The first part is configured to engage with the first substrate, the second part is configured to engage with the second substrate, and the external threading of the first part and the internal threading of the second part are configured such that the first part and the second part are configured to be unscrewed from each other to cause the distance between the first and second substrates to increase.

Abstract: A release assembly and a method of forming a drilling tool for rock or overburden drilling is provided. The release assembly is arranged axially between two drilling tool components. The release assembly includes a release mechanism allowing an initial axial length to shorten when a joint of the drilling tool components provided with connecting threads is turned in an opening direction. The release assembly has a decreased second axial length and friction forces in the joint decrease.

Abstract: Underground drilling operation often requires connecting a drill tool (e.g., drill bit, backreamer, etc.) to a drill string. It is desirable to connect the drill tools to a drill string in a manner that facilitates quick and easy assembly and disassembly. Low torque coupling, commonly referred to as “torque-less” connection, can provide such functionality. The useful life and strength of such connections can be improved upon. The present disclosure provides a low torque coupling with improved strength and durability.

The spacer assembly allows the sign to be detached from the wall while leaving in place the studs coupled to the sign and wall.
