Abstract: The present application discloses a four-directional drilling machine, comprising a main frame, a main machine platform, flange-type hydraulic cylinders, linear bearings, hydraulic piston rods, guide rods, nuts A, an upper pressure plate, drill bushings A, nuts B, monoblock drilling machines A, an upper supporting plate, positioning stop blocks, adjustable base assemblies, a left supporting plate, a drill bushing B, a right supporting plate and the like.
Abstract: An apparatus for drilling structural shapes such as angles, I-beams and H-beams has sliders shiftable transversely to the beam along vertical and horizontal members of a frame through which the beam is passed. At least one of the sliders can have a rotatable carrier whose axis is perpendicular to the web or flange being drill and from which a respective drilling unit is radially offset. The longitudinal position of drilling is determined by the angular position of the carrier and any transverse offset is compensated by movement of the respective slider.
Abstract: The invention relates to a moving gantry machine having uprights that are movable relative to each other. The uprights are interconnected by a cross-member made up of two cross-member elements suitable for being moved relative to each other in the limit of a given maximum offset .DELTA. in the displacement direction of the uprights. The displacement of the uprights is controlled by respective independent drive systems X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 under numerical control within the limit of said offset. A third drive system X.sub.3 is provided for displacement between the cross-member elements and is under numerical control with the condition the displacement distance of drive system X.sub.1 +the displacement distance of drive system X.sub.3 =the displacement distance of drive system X.sub.2.
Abstract: A machine is accomplished comprising two pairs of operating heads in which each pair includes two identical operating heads essentially opposite to each other equipped with chucks rotating on horizontal axes having at one end a conical housing for receiving a tool.Each head can be moved longitudinally and vertically and the corresponding conical housing faces a central cavity.A machining tool or a clamping tool for holding the part to be machined can be inserted into each housing, so that one or two opposite chucks support the part while it is machined by the tool or by the tools inserted into one or more of the remaining chucks.
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine tool for multiple surface machining having a work supporting device provided on a base and having a work supporting portion which is freely rotatable and freely adjustable in a vertical position, a slide base freely adjustably movable on the base in a horizontal direction toward and away from the work supporting device, a tool supporting table provided on the slide base, the tool supporting table being freely adjustably movable in a horizontal direction orthogonal to the direction of movement of the slide base, a vertical machining device mounted on the tool supporting table to perform machining from the upper direction on a workpiece that is supported by the work supporting portion, and a plurality of horizontal machining devices mounted on the tool supporting table to perform machining on the workpiece from the horizontal direction.
Abstract: A drilling machine for working on longer workpieces, such as steel profiles having a fixed, non-variable frame. The machine includes a horizontal machine underpart arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the workpiece, two vertical side parts attached to the underpart ends and a horizontal upper beam attached on the side parts, and three drilling units each having a drilling spindle, a gear and a motor. The drilling units are shiftable in a plane parallel to the frame. The first drilling unit has a horizontal drilling spindle and is attached to a side part to the side of the workpiece; the second drilling unit has a second spindle arranged horizontally to the first drilling unit and on the opposing side of the workpiece; and, the third drilling unit has a vertical spindle and is attached to the upper beam. The second drilling unit has its horizontal drilling spindle on a horizontally driven carriage provided with lower wheels and upper wheels.
