Abstract: A full side openable boxcar is provided according to the present application, which includes multiple doors movable in a direction of a body of the boxcar, and opening and closing devices each being configured to activate the opening and closing of the respective doors; in a closing state, the doors are arranged sequentially to form one side wall of the full side openable boxcar, and opening is required, the opening and closing devices activate the doors to translate in an inner-outer direction, to allow the doors to be staggered and moved in a longitudinal direction of the car body to open the corresponding position of the full side openable boxcar. The design of a door assembly is optimized so as to improve the simplicity and flexibility of door opening and closing, thereby ensuring the improvement in cargo loading and unloading efficiency.

Abstract: A vehicle cargo area divider assembly includes a vehicle cargo area having a plurality of walls defining at least one wall projection and at least one wall groove. The vehicle cargo area divider assembly further includes a plurality of partition members each having a first end defining a first end projection and at least one first end groove orthogonally oriented relative to the projection, and having a second end defining a second end groove. The first end projection of a first partition member of the plurality of partition members is alternately receivable in the at least one wall groove of the vehicle cargo area, in the at least one first end groove of at least one other partition member of the plurality of partition members, or in the second end groove of the at least one other partitioned member.

Abstract: An assembly of a number of perforated sheets with fasteners and braces to temporarily and adjustably provide variable partitions and means for securing items within the cargo bed of a truck or trailer, uses a set of flat rectangular sheets that are perforated by an array of regularly spaced holes to accept connectors and bolts to secure braces or fixtures to the sheets in a variety of configurations including at least a base sheet sized to fit horizontally on the cargo bed and/or vertical partition sheets with sockets along the long edges, spaced the same as the sheet holes and secured to the base sheet by pegs and braces and fixtures such as rings, adjustable length bars or hooks are usefully attachable to the sheets by bolts or by pegs inserted into the holes.

Abstract: An apparatus for securing loaded goods on the loading area of a vehicle or similar device in the form of a beam-like profile having at least one insertion profile (30) that is mounted at one end on the latter, a pivoting head (40) of grooved cross section and a latching pin (60) that is mounted such that it can move relative thereto are articulated on the insertion profile by an axle pin (42) as a connection member for countermembers on the loading area or on a box body associated therewith. The latching pin (60) projects out of the grooved cross section of the pivoting head (40) from the latching body (50) towards the ridge plate of the pivoting head (40), and the latching body (50) is passed through by the axle pin (42) of the pivoting head (40) and in addition is assigned an energy accumulator. In the vicinity of the latching pin (60), the latching body (50) is provided with an eye (58) as coupling element for an actuating or tension bar (70).

Abstract: A temporary, secured divider is provided to partition a cargo container into a secured compartment and a non-secured compartment, allowing for the secured transport of cargo that does not occupy the entire container. Also provided is a container for such secured transportation and methods and systems of secured transportation of a partial cargo load.

Abstract: A cargo freight container has four walls (1a to 1d), a top (2) and a bottom (3), which form an interior having an inner ceiling (4) and an inner bottom (5). Between the inner ceiling (4) and the inner bottom (5) there is at least one load support (6), which is movable against goods (7) to be loaded in the container such that the goods (7) can be supported against the load support (6) at least in one direction.

Abstract: A truck bed cargo barrier for use with a truck bed for stabilizing cargo items longitudinally and laterally. The cargo barrier is slidable relative to the front and back of the truck bed along a track system. The cargo barrier may be locked in a user specified position along the track system to accommodate the size of the load being carried forming a divider, or may be flipped up into a temporary storage position for linear cargo exceeding the length of the bed. Tie down brackets for bungee cords are adjustably attached to the barrier frame to secure cargo laterally. A barrier panel is connected to laterally adjustable, rigid side plates, each including two spaced apart wheels that ride on a pair of longitudinal tracks on the side walls of the truck bed. The spaced apart wheels firmly secure the barrier panel in a vertical position. A manual actuator permits manual positioning of the barrier panel along the bed frame front to back.

Abstract: A retractable cargo cover arrangement (10) for the interior of the cargo hold (200) of a freight carrier wherein the cover arrangement (10) includes a generally elongated rectangular cover member (20) fabricated from a sheet of waterproof material (21) and having an upper end affixed to, and wrapped around, a spring loaded retraction cylinder (22) and a lower end affixed to an elongated dowel (24) in a window shade fashion; wherein, the arrangement further includes a first pair of brackets (30), (40) for suspending the upper portion of the cover member (20) in the upper portion of the cargo hold (200) and a second pair of brackets (60) (70) for releasably engaging the lower portion of the cover member (20) in the lower portion of the cargo hold (200) to prevent water damage to the cargo (100) contained within the cargo hold (200).

Abstract: A cargo compartment organizer for providing an easily assembled and disassembled cargo organizer includes a bottom panel, side panels, and a top panel having at least one hinged lid, wherein the bottom, top and side panels are coupled together by resilient tracks. In an alternate embodiment, the bottom panel and side panels include cutouts to accommodate wheel wells such as are commonly found in pick-up style vehicles.

Abstract: A new gate attachment for mounting to the side walls of a load bed of a vehicle. The inventive device includes an elongate upper cross bar and an elongate lower cross bar spaced apart from the upper cross bar. A plurality of spaced apart elongate ribs are extended between the upper and lower cross bars. A pair of insertion arms are extended from the upper cross bar. Each of the insertion arms has a lower terminal end which are adapted for insertion into a post hole of side wall of load bed of a vehicle.

Abstract: A secure stowage system having first and second support members. The second support member is releasably attached to a support system such that the second support member can only be removed from the support system by first moving the second support member according to a predetermined adjustment. The first and second support members have receiving means. A lockable item is configured to fit between the first and second support members. The lockable item has a lock and first and second mating means. The first mating means are adapted to engage the receiving means of one of the first and second support members. The second mating means are likewise adapted to engage the receiving means of the other of the first and second support members. The first mating means are selectively retractable toward the lockable item, but only when the lock is in an unlocked position. The first mating means are unretractable when the lock is in a locked position.

Abstract: The present invention provides a plurality of posts and tracks for placement within a freight carrying vehicle in different locations to accommodate the mounting of an unique support frame therein. The support frame in combination with the posts and tracks can be utilized horizontally or vertically to deck or brace articles of freight placed in the vehicle.

Abstract: A securement system for cargo containers comprising a plurality of structural members adapted for mounting within the container, such as a truck trailer, a railroad boxcar, or a portable container, to cooperate with support members such as beams, to secure the cargo within the container. The structural members may be mounted on the walls of the container, using auxiliary locking devices, or may be free-standing adjacent to the cargo. The structural members have components including recesses or openings adapted to be interengaged with a plurality of the support members which extend transversely or longitudinally of the container in order to hold the cargo in place. The structural members preferably extend vertically within the container.

Abstract: Space adjusting, lading separating, decking and bracing members for use in freight carrying vehicles. The members comprise the combination of apertured tracks which are placed on the walls, ceiling and floor, at least two apertured crossbars and at least one load bearing member that can be placed horizontally or vertically.

Abstract: A truck bed divider system for placement within the bed of a truck includes at least one primary divider and at least one secondary divider. The primary dividers include brackets at each end that provide a frictional fit against the interior side of the walls of the bed of the truck. By a slotted interrelationship, the primary dividers are situated within the bed at their preferred positions and are thereafter adjusted by extending the brackets outward relative to the divider body to their maximum extent whereby they are pressed against the side of the bed and held thereto by tension, thus eliminating the need for fasteners. The secondary dividers are provided with hooks at their ends and are interfittable between the primary dividers by being hooked into slots perpendicularly defined in the body of the primary dividers. Both primary and secondary dividers are preferably provided with shelf extensions for the placement of shelves thereupon.

Abstract: A sectional van trailer including a plurality of van sections or cargo compartments which are secured to a trailer frame provides advantages when moving both household goods and/or commercial freight. The van sections may be individually removed and left at a location for loading or unloading providing weather-tight individual containers for the goods disposed therein. When interconnected, each van section may remain an individual compartment or may be joined with one or more adjacent van sections to form a continuous van body. A tractor mounted hoist apparatus is provided to allow a lone truck operator to move the van sections between the ground, and the trailer frame, a storage stand, or a truck frame. Since the individual van sections may be removed from a trailer, stored, and resecured to a different trailer frame, efficient transportation of both household goods and commercial freight by truck to a final destination is possible.

Abstract: A modularized system for enclosing selected portions of a pickup truck bed is presented. The system comprises at least one pair of vertical partition holders, at least one vertical partition, a front frame coupled to the front of the pickup bed, a pair of hollow receptacles, a rear gate frame, a sliding locking spacer and a fixed locking spacer which couple together to enclose selected volumes of the pickup truck bed. Additional vertical partition holders and vertical partitions can be coupled to form additional enclosed modules. The modules can be quickly and easily removed and installed to vary the volume enclosed for the greatest usefulness and utility of the user of the pickup.

Abstract: A movable bulkhead for a cargo carrying container includes a fixed panel and one or move movable panels. The movable panels are movable between a first position in which they are coplanar with the fixed panel so as to define a maximum cargo volume within the container, and a second position in which the movable panels are spaced from the fixed panel to thereby reduce the cargo volume within the container. Load bars are adapted for engagement with the side walls of the container for bracing the movable panels against movement when such panels are in their second position, and are adapted for storage behind the movable panels when such panels are in their first position and the load bars are not in use.

Abstract: A protective gate adapted to be installed within a freight container such as a truck trailer for protection of the container and its freight from damage during transit wherein the container includes a floor, two opposite side walls, and a rear door for receiving the freight to be transported. The protective gate comprises a rigid plate having top, bottom and side edges wherein the plate is spaced inwardly from the rear door of the freight container, hinges to connect the bottom edge of the plate to the container floor to allow movement of the plate from a position in a plane horizontal to the floor into a position perpendicular to the floor, and a coupling to allow the side edges of the plate to be secured to the container side walls so that the plate is in a position perpendicular to the container floor, thereby preventing movement of the gate relative to the container.

Abstract: A barge-carrying vessel of the flotation loading and unloading type. Each barge-stowage hold has parallel, vertical side walls that are only slightly further apart from each other than the width of the barges to be stowed. The barges are held down against the bottom of the hold, enabling transfer of buoyancy from the barges to the vessel when the hold is flooded. For this purpose, a series of guides is secured to one side wall of the hold, each guide comprising a pair of parallel vertical tracks. In between each pair of tracks is a wedge having a sloping outer face for engagement with a barge in a wedging manner to force this barge against the opposite side wall. The wedges are raised and lowered as needed, and are positively secured in place in their barge-hold down position.

Abstract: A deck assembly for a vehicle freight container, e.g., a highway trailer, comprising a series of panels which extend across the container and rest on side rails to provide a second floor for lading spaced above the main floor of the container, the panels being hinged to opposed side walls of the container in a manner to permit storage against the side walls above the side rails. The panels are pivoted at two corners, one pivot being a universal joint and the other being detachable from the side wall to permit the panels to be rotated about both a vertical and a horizontal axis for moving them from stored to operative position and vice versa.
