Including Plastic Deformation (e.g., Bending) Of The Discrete Element Patents (Class 411/236)
  • Patent number: 9802021
Abstract: A mouthpiece having a vestibular shield overlapping a user's teeth and gums, a gases passageway extending through the vestibular shield allowing for the passage of the gases through the mouthpiece and an extra oral sealing member is associated with the gases passageway. The passageway in use causes gases to be diffused when exiting from the gases passageway. The mouthpiece may have a noseflap to seal the user's nose or provide a passageway for the user's nasal passages. The mouthpiece may have an adjustment arrangement to alter a distance between the vestibular shield and the extra-oral sealing member.

  • Publication number: 20110316325
Abstract: A spindle nut assembly includes inner and outer nuts having corresponding beveled surfaces. The inner nut is tightly threaded onto an end of a spindle and is positioned to achieve a desired endplay setting. The outer nut contacts the inner nut at an oblique angle via the beveled surfaces, which squeezes the inner nut more tightly onto the spindle while still maintaining the desired endplay setting.
