Abstract: A work vehicle of the present invention includes a connection mechanism connecting ends of a first pipe and the second pipe. The connection mechanism includes a plate-shaped first joint member provided at the end of the first pipe, a plate-shaped second joint member provided at the end of the second pipe, and a coupling bolt coupling the first joint member and the second joint member to each other. The first joint member and the second joint member each have a coupling hole into which the coupling bolt is insertable, at a position exposed from the corresponding first or second pipe, and the first joint member and the second joint member are coupled to each other by the coupling bolt passed through the coupling holes while the plate surfaces of the first joint member and the second joint member overlap each other.
Abstract: The technology described in the present specification is embodied in a vehicle. The vehicle includes a vehicle body, a seat, and a seat bracket. The vehicle body includes a pipe material extending in the vehicle right-left direction. The seat is provided in the vehicle body, and an occupant of the vehicle sits on the seat. The seat is fixed to the pipe material via the seat bracket. The seat bracket includes a bracket lower and a bracket upper. The bracket lower is placed below the pipe material. The bracket upper is placed above the pipe material such that the pipe material is sandwiched between the bracket upper and the bracket lower.
Abstract: A novel one piece integrated fastener is provided which includes a deformable sleeve for receiving a pin where the pin has an elongated pin shank, terminating at a first pin end in a pin head and terminating at a second pin end in an externally threaded portion, and a transitional section integrally connected between the first pin end and the second pin end. The deformable sleeve may include a hollow tubular shank terminating at a first sleeve end in a sleeve head having an opening for receiving the pin and terminating at a second sleeve end having an internal sleeve head surface for engagement with the external pin head side surface when in an assembled position. The sleeve includes a first sleeve section, a second sleeve section and a third sleeve section having an internal surface for engaging the externally threaded portion of the pin upon installation.
Abstract: A connector includes an elongated hollow body and a nut threaded onto the body. The nut is secured in place by outward expansion of material from the threaded body into a chamfer of the nut.
Abstract: A generally rectangular intra-spinous spacer preferably made of bone material advantageously has a low potential for bone fusion. The spacer has depressions sized and positioned on opposite sides to receive spinal processes. The depressions reduce the amount of bone-to-spinal process contact. A fixation strap of the spacer secured either to both the superior and inferior spinous processes or to only one of the superior or inferior processes laterally maintains the implanted position of the spacer and limits either flexion and extension, just flexion, or just extension.
Abstract: A fastening system device having dimensions of very small magnitudes for attaching a mesh prosthesis or tissue to body tissue. The device has a shaft member which has a continuous outer peripheral surface and so constructed such that the outer surface is a continuous surface and has a continuous curved cross-section where the center of curvature is in the radial direction of the longitudinal axis; the shaft has sufficient columnar resistance to bending to permit the shaft member to penetrate body tissue. A head member extends radially from the shaft member at a second end and is so dimensioned and proportioned to form a bearing surface for bearing against the mesh prosthesis. A resiliently collapsible anchor member is integrally fixed to the first end of the shaft and separately forms a conical distal tip.
Abstract: A unitary retaining device is removably insertable into a connector. The retaining device includes a unitary wire having a first end integrally formed as a handle of any suitable geometric shape and a second end of which is radiused, wire shaped and annealed to improve its malleability for both insertion and removal from the connector. A coating may be applied to the surface of the wire to improve the insertion and extraction characteristics of the wire. The handle may be heat treated to improve its strength. The wire is insertable into a circumferential groove of the connector, with the handle protruding outwardly from the connector after insertion, to allow for extraction.
Abstract: In interconnecting construction between a bolt and a mounting plate such as a shell of a brake booster is disclosed. A sealing, annular projection is formed in an end face of a bolt head so as to surround a bolt shank which is formed with a serration. Both the annular projection and the serration are caused to bite into the opposite surfaces of the mounting plate, whereby an excellent sealing effect and locking action against rotation are simultaneously achieved.
