Plural End Legs Patents (Class 411/363)
  • Patent number: 11758989
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a snap system including a mating component and a snap component that connect by means of a snap fit or otherwise. The mating component simplifies the assembly process by combining a structural component and an attachment point. The snap component is associated with a removable component that mates with the attachment point of the mating component. The snap system includes a mating component that combines a structural component to secure a material and an attachment point to secure a snap component. The design of the structural component allows the mating component to be used with a variety of materials having a variable thickness. The mating component is a versatile feature as the structural component self-adjusts to the thickness of the material provided. The snap system decreases the amount of components necessary for manufacturing, which may decrease the cost, as well as improve the visual appeal.

  • Patent number: 8469644
Abstract: A stem fastening structure includes a cap, a bolt and a packing member. The cap abuts against a top of a stem and corresponds to a top edge of a middle hole of a front fork. The bolt passes through the cap and penetrates into the middle hole. The packing member has a loop portion for the bolt screwing therethrough. Two sides of the loop portion extend upward and diverge from the other to form two bottom cone portions. Two positioning portions respectively and vertically extend upward from the two positioning portioning. Two top cone portions respectively extend upward from the two positioning portions, and approach the other. A top of each top cone portions abuts against the cap. Thereby, when the bolt drives the loop portion to move toward the cap, the positioning portions abut against the middle hole, so that the stem is fastened to the front fork.

  • Patent number: 7686832
Abstract: A generally rectangular intra-spinous spacer preferably made of bone material advantageously has a low potential for bone fusion. The spacer has depressions sized and positioned on opposite sides to receive spinal processes. The depressions reduce the amount of bone-to-spinal process contact. A fixation strap of the spacer secured either to both the superior and inferior spinous processes or to only one of the superior or inferior processes laterally maintains the implanted position of the spacer and limits either flexion and extension, just flexion, or just extension.

  • Publication number: 20090022567
Abstract: The fastener comprises a head and a snap-engagement foot comprising a rigid core and curved flexible wings. Each wing has a convex surface bordered by said core, by a longitudinal edge surface and by a transverse edge surface. Each transverse edge surface has, viewed by an observer viewing said convex surface, a V-shape of which the point, which is directed outwardly, is located at said inflection plane. The core is a hub about which at least three said wings are regularly spaced. Each wing comprises a corner delimited by said longitudinal edge surface and by a shoulder and a web less thick than the corner, disposed between the hub and the shoulder. Each wing is adapted to flex by elastic deformation towards the convex surface of the neighboring wing.

  • Patent number: 6851702
Abstract: A novel mounting bracket for an inflatable curtain is described. The mounting bracket includes a pair of attachment plates for engaging respective sides of the inflatable curtain. One plate includes an opening through which a fastener may be positioned to secure the bracket and attached inflatable curtain to the interior of a vehicle. A bushing having an inner surface and an outer surface is positioned within the opening in the mounting plate. Flanges extending from an outer surface of the bushing maintain the bushing within the opening. The outer surface of the bushing is smaller than the opening which allows the bushing to rotate freely within the bracket when a fastener is used to secure the mounting bracket to the interior of a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4573469
Abstract: A fastener is provided to hold together separated portions of mammalian tissue and includes an open loop fastening member and a receiver adapted to receive the legs of the fastening member. The legs of the fastening member are then deformed to effect engagement of the fastening member and receiver. An instrument is provided for holding the receiver on one side of the tissue portions and for inserting the fastening member through the tissue portions and into the receiver. The instrument also (1) deforms the legs of the fastening member to effect the engagement of the fastening member with the receiver and (2) severs the protruding portions of the legs.
