  • Patent number: 11846313
Abstract: A tamper resistant assembly applied to a tamper resistant system includes a tamper resistant screw, a housing, a lock member, a nut and a cover. The tamper resistant screw includes a head, a thread, a groove and a tip. The lock member is disposed in the housing. The lock member includes a plurality of locking blocks, wherein a deformable opening is formed between the locking blocks. The nut is disposed in the housing and covers the deformable opening. The cover is disposed in the housing. The nut is located between the lock member and the cover. When the tip of the tamper resistant screw passes through the cover and the nut sequentially and enters the deformable opening, the nut is separated from the deformable opening and the locking blocks engage with the groove. Furthermore, a detaching tool is provided to detach the tamper resistant assembly.

  • Patent number: 11828319
Abstract: A locknut for a threaded bolt which uses a pair of cooperating movable members that apply a three hundred and sixty degree engaging force on the threaded bolt locking the locknut to the threaded bolt. The pair of cooperating members are mounted within the body of the locknut. The locknut is the same physical size as a conventional nut that doesn't include any locking mechanism. The locknut can be loosened and reused multiple times.

  • Patent number: 8820464
Abstract: An upper rail is movable in a rear and front direction with respect to a lower rail fixed to a vehicle floor. A load sensor is fixed to an upper surface of the upper rail, and a rectangular frame is attached onto the load sensor. A rod of the load sensor penetrates a web of the rectangular frame, a washer and a spring holder, and a coil spring is wound around the rod. A bush is fitted to an edge of a hole of the washer, and a step is formed between an upper surface of the washer and the bush. A nut is screwed to the rod and tightens a bottom of a cup portion of the spring holder. The coil spring is sandwiched between the spring holder and the web and is compressed, and an end portion of the coil spring engages with the step.

A load sensor is fixed to an upper surface of the upper rail. A rectangular frame is attached onto the load sensor, a rod of the load sensor sequentially penetrates a web of the rectangular frame and a spring holder upward, and a coil spring is wound around the rod. A nut is screwed to the rod, and the nut tightens a bottom of a cup portion of the spring holder. The coil spring is sandwiched between a flange of the spring holder and the web and is compressed by tightening the nut.

  • Patent number: 6206625
Abstract: Nut with positive and micrometric locking intended to be screwed on a shaft (1)(23)(60)(70) comprising a serrated part (2)(24)(59)(72) and locking segments (15)(37)(44)(75) having each one at least one tooth (19)(41)(58)(76), and which are intended to fix in rotation the nut (4)(26)(54)(73) on the shaft (1)(23)(60)(70), said locking segments (15)(37)(44)(75) being movable between a first locked position and a second unlocked position, the locking segments (15)(37)(44)(75) being constantly and independently radially stressed by a torical spring (21)(43)(45)(78).

  • Patent number: 5662446
Abstract: A twist lock insertion and twist release extraction type spring cotter pin having one primary straight end extremity to be inserted through an aperture in a structural element and its opposite adjacent free end extremity consisting of a series of arcuate curves allowing them to partially rotate or counter rotate about the surface of said structural element. And, commensurate with this, an easy grasp handle all made of spring steel type wire. The method of said designed invention allows for a new definition of utility for a spring cotter pin of this particular unique function the extraordinary characteristics of which demonstrate a locking spring pins basic need for a revision of often ignored operational safety features without compromising the new standards it has attained for ease of function yet maintaining its overall convenience, reliability and durability.

  • Patent number: 5599150
Abstract: A hitch pin for maintaining a clevis pin in a bore including a continuous wire member formed to include a straight portion ending in a constant radius hinge portion. A parallel portion extends from the hinge portion to a constant radius barb portion. The termination of the barb portion is located on the side of the straight portion opposite the parallel portion and resiliently maintained there by properties of the hinge portion as accentuated by material properties of the wire itself. The hitch pin may be installed in a bore defined in a clevis pin by applying force to the hinge portion after inserting the leadin portion in the bore. During installation, the barb portion is resiliently deformed about the clevis pin and returns to a preinstalled position when the hitch pin installation has been completed. Any forces attempting to remove the hitch pin cause the barb portion to strike the clevis pin presenting a mechanical obstruction to removal.

  • Patent number: 5570984
Abstract: A combination of a plastic part and metal part functions as a fastener to attach a panel to the flange of a portion of a chassis for electronic equipment or the like. The panel is formed with a counterbored hole and has an arcuate groove outside the counterbore on the outside of the panel and angularly spaced dimples on the underside. The fastener is a peripherally flanged hollow cylindrical member fitting into the hole and counterbore. It has a partially closed bottom and opposed openings in the cylindrical walls. A detent slants upward-outward from the bottom through one of the openings. A metal clip attaches to the cap, having an inverted U-shape having a web and two depending sides which fit through the openings. The top has a shoulder which locks outside the detent to hold the parts assembled and has a locking extension beyond the shoulder.
