Abstract: A windshield wiper system for an aircraft includes a wiper drive shaft with a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The second end includes a first threaded section between the first end and the second end, a second threaded section extending axially along the wiper drive shaft between the first threaded section and the second end relative to a center axis of the wiper drive shaft, and a spline section axially between the first threaded section and the second threaded section. Further included is a first nut to thread to the first threaded section, a second nut to thread to the second threaded section, and a wiper arm assembly including an adjustment sleeve configured to interlock with the spline section, a wiper arm with a first end configured to enclose the adjustment sleeve, and a second end of the wiper arm attached to a wiper blade.
Abstract: A pedestal (18) for an access floor assembly (10), the pedestal (18) comprises a stand portion and a head portion. The stand portion has a base plate (21) for resting upon a sub-floor (20), and a stem (22) extending upwardly therefrom. The head portion has a platform (24) and a threaded shaft (26) extending downwardly therefrom. The pedestal (18) includes a lockable nut (28) which has a thread (29) adapted to screwably engage the threaded shaft (26), wherein the lockable nut (28) has at least one detent (30) to lock with the stem (22) in order to prevent the rotation of the lockable nut (28) when abutted against the stem (22).
Abstract: A bolt lock assembly (40) and a nut lock assembly (60) are provided that respectively include a collar member (16) that is moveable in opposite axial directions in a counterbore (12) in an object (4) and is biased outwardly therefrom by a coiled spring (20). Counterbore (12) has at least one slot (14) extending radially outwardly therefrom and collar member (16) has at least one locking member (18) extending therefrom having a portion registerable with and remaining in slot (18) and a portion adapted to engage locking surfaces on a bolt head (6) of bolt (2) or a nut (24) when collar member (16) is urged outwardly from counterbore (12) to provide the locked engagement therebetween.
