Abstract: A tubular post is erected from a retracted position in the deck of a load receiving ship to accommodate load transfer operation. A highline connection established by an automated rigging technique substantially reduces manpower requirements, with all receiving station equipment stowed below deck for watertight integrity and to minimize radar cross-section.
