A static air pressure profile is calculated along a top portion of the fan assembly configured to operate in an enclosure. The shape of a section of the inlet opening in the top portion of the fan assembly is changed based on a pressure contour of the calculated static air pressure profile. The method is repeated iteratively one or more times using an inlet opening changed by a previously calculated static air pressure profile when calculating a subsequent static air pressure profile. The inlet opening is positioned in the top surface of the fan assembly so that the centroid of the inlet opening is laterally offset with respect to the rotational axis of an impeller in the fan assembly.

The CCV gases are piped into an inlet of the compressor housing which supports an insert with an MWE structure. The MWE structure comprises an outer wall and an inner wall with a gas flow passage defined between them. At high r.p.m. of the compressor impeller air flows through the passage to provide more air volume to the impeller and at low r.p.m. excess air is bled out of the passage for recirculation. The CCV gases are directed to a position upstream of an inlet to the gas flow passage where they emerge through an outlet which may be defined in the insert. The CCV gases may be supplied to the outlet via a chamber defined between the insert and the compressor housing. Abstract: A centrifugal pump including a motor connected to a volute housing. The volute housing is configured to receive a pumping mechanism that includes an impeller rotatably connected to the motor. The volute housing may also include a removeable cover that provides access to the interior of the volute housing and to components of the pumping mechanism. In one exemplary embodiment, the removeable cover is connected to the volute housing by fasteners, such as bolts. By removing the cover, the impeller, wear plate, and other components of the pumping mechanism may be disassembled and, if necessary, serviced, without the need to remove the motor from the volute housing. In another exemplary embodiment, a gasket having an integrated flapper valve is secured between the cover and the volute housing. The flapper valve is positioned to align with a fluid inlet formed in the cover and acts as a check valve, substantially preventing fluid within the volute housing from exiting through the inlet.

The flowing channel includes a pressure-enhanced section and an output section. The case includes an air input section, an axial inlet section and a radial air outlet. The bottom base has a center and allows the driving device to be secured thereon. Multiple ribs are interconnected between the bottom base and the case to define air inlets among the ribs, the bottom base and the case. The air inlet within the output section has an outmost edge, which is farther from the center than an outmost edge of the air inlet within the pressure-enhanced section, or the air inlet within the output section has an area, which is larger than that of the air inlet within the pressure-enhanced section.
