Abstract: A first tank, a main body of a compressor, an electric motor, and a second tank are combined to form a single assembly. A booster type air compressor as the single assembly including the first tank may be easily carried. The first tank at an inlet side is integrally combined to prevent a pulsation in the supplied compressed air for eliminating the drain contained in the compressed air. The air compressor, thus, is structured to discharge high compressed air from a high-pressure outlet joint formed on the second tank.

The frame envelopes the operating components' outer perimeter and angularly extends to a stop point rearward of the operating components. When tipped rearward to the stop point, the compressor assembly returns by gravity to the compressor normal operating position. An instrument and connector panel including an engine on/off switch is mounted in a protected position. Wheels and structural feet are removable and a handle is retractable and removable for shipping.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a suitcase style air compressor assembly having an extensible handle bar assembly, a wheel assembly, and a integral storage container. When the extensible handle bar assembly is fully extended, the suitcase style air compressor assembly may be transported by utilizing the extensible handle bar assembly and the wheel assembly. When the suitcase style air compressor assembly reaches a worksite, the extensible handle bar assembly may be retracted so that the suitcase style air compressor assembly does not occupy a large space. The air compressor includes a storage container for storing air hoses, power cords, tools, and the like.

Abstract: A powered apparatus constitutes a utilitarian device removably mounted on an internal combustion engine. That engine has a housing, a vertical crankshaft, and an engine coupling connected to the upper end of the crankshaft. The utilitarian device includes a body and a drive connector that is removably coupled to the crankshaft to receive rotational force from the internal combustion engine. The weight of the utilitarian device is carried by a support bearing which is fixedly connected to either the body or the engine coupling and releasably engages the other of the body and the engine coupling.

  • Patent number: 6994528
Abstract: An air compressor package having improved stability and portability. The air compressor package is positionable in an operational position, wherein the air compressor package is positioned on a base, and a transport position, wherein the air compressor package may be more readily transported. Positioning of the air compressor package into the transport position is accomplished by rotating the air compressor about a rotational axis that is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the air tank, which positions the air compressor in an orientation and position that is relatively comfortable, whether or not the air compressor is hand-transported.

  • Patent number: 6991436
Abstract: An air compressor having a cooling fan that cools both a pump and an electric motor. Baffle compress air against the top of the motor, causing it to break up and flow around fours sides of the motor and through the motor. The pump includes an elongate intake tube or muffler that attenuates pump intake noise. A compressor tank for the air compressor includes a roll cage for protecting a condensate valve for the compressor tank. The compressor tank includes a rim base formed on the bottom of the compressor tank that permits the compressor tank to rest on a surface without additional supports or legs. Controls and gauges are mounted in the bottom clamshell piece, and openings on a top fit around the controls and gauges. The top and the bottom are aligned with guides so that the controls and gauges may be properly aligned with the openings.

  • Patent number: 6988874
Abstract: A tile flood pump for attachment to a tile or drain pipe and pumping water from a field through the tile or drain pipe to a drainage ditch or canal. The tile flood pump is characterized by a cylindrical pump housing fitted with a flange for removably bolting to the existing tile or pump embedded in a levee or dike separating the field from the drainage canal and a cylindrical impeller housing enclosing one or more shaft-mounted rotating impellers, the impeller housing extending into the pump housing in angular relationship for pumping water from the field through the pump housing and the tile and into the ditch. A pump housing flapper valve on the intake end of the pump housing can be selectively open or closed by a control rod mechanism to facilitate a flow of water by direct drainage through the pump housing and the tile into the ditch, or for pumping water through the impeller housing, the pump housing and the tile when the water in the ditch is at a higher level than the water in the field.
