Abstract: An air compressor, air storage, and high pressure cleaning machine structure comprised of an air compression and air storage mechanism and a high pressure cleaning mechanism that are powered by a single electric motor in an integrated arrangement, wherein the two protruding ends of a main shaft in the electric motor are inserted into a unidirectional bearing, following which they are respectively coupled to the air compression, air storage mechanism and the high pressure cleaning mechanism. The two mechanisms are installed on a foldable two-section wheeled frame and the user controls the electric motor with a toggle switch to selectively deviate the main shaft in the electric motor towards one of the two unidirectional bearings such that said electric motor drives either the air compression and air storage mechanism or the high pressure cleaning mechanism. As such, the two-in-one arrangement effectively reduces space occupancy and facilitates operating convenience.

A fixed displacement hydraulic motor driven by the variable displacement hydraulic pump includes a motor speed transducer. The fixed displacement hydraulic motor drives a liquid pump and contains a liquid outlet pressure transducer. A controller device modulates the output of the variable displacement hydraulic pump. The controller device is in communication with the liquid pump outlet pressure transducer, and with the fixed displacement hydraulic motor speed transducer. The controller thereby modulates the hydraulic output of the variable displacement hydraulic pump to maintain a constant, preselected liquid pump outlet pressure that is independent of engine speed and within the fixed displacement hydraulic motor speed maximum.

Abstract: An air compressor includes a fuel tank at least partially supported by the air compressor guard, allowing for a larger fuel tank and eliminating the need for a separate fuel tank support. The air compressor includes a gasoline engine connected to an air pump via a belt; the guard covers the belt. A frame may also partially support the fuel tank. The air compressor may also include a manifold assembly, where the manifolds are connected via a unique mechanism. Two manifolds, each having a plate extending therefrom, surround a regulator, and the manifold plates are connected using a set of bolts. The regulator is held to the manifolds by being clamped between the plates.

Abstract: A fire fighting apparatus includes a chassis that can be in the form of a trailer that supports a pedestal and an articulating boom with a submersible hydraulically driven pump at an end portion of the boom opposite the pedestal. A diesel engine mounted on the chassis powers both a hydraulic pump and a transfer pump. Water picked up by the submersible pump at the end of the boom is received on the chassis and then transferred under pressure to a fire fighting hose. A dual filter arrangement can be used to remove trash that is picked up by the submersible hydraulic pump. A hydraulic motor on the chassis can be used to operate the boom during unfolding and folding and to transfer hydraulic fluid to the submersible pump.

Abstract: An apparatus mounted on a trailer is used to connect to an underground pipe array such as is installed under a golf course. The apparatus includes a vertical shaft blower unit with an impeller rotating in a horizontal plane. An engine mounted on the blower unit has a vertical engine shaft connected to the vertical shaft of the blower unit. An inlet duct of the blower unit is located below a discharge duct of the blower unit. The inlet duct and discharge duct are oriented in the same direction, and when the engine is a gasoline engine having an exhaust muffler, the exhaust muffler is oriented in the same direction as the inlet and discharge ducts. Since all the noise discharge points of the apparatus are pointed in the same direction, the trailer can be turned so that the noise generated during operation of the apparatus is directed away from players on the golf course. A water separator is preferably connected between the inlet duct and the impeller.

The base section may include an elastic bladder and a pumping apparatus. The elastic bladder connects with a reservoir. The pumping apparatus is manually operated by a movable section which can comprise a handle. The movable section is pivotally mounted to the base section. Movement of the movable section causes water to flow from the reservoir into the elastic bladder causing the elastic bladder to expand. A discharge nozzle is connected to the elastic bladder with the discharge nozzle being normally closed preventing flow of water therethrough by a discharge valve. The discharge valve is to be manually openable to cause the dispensing of the water in the form of a stream. The water is to be supplied into the elastic bladder until it expands to a certain degree prior to opening of the discharge nozzle.
