    Abstract: A delayed blowback device preferably includes a bolt, a gas key and at least one spring-loaded projection. A projection slot or projection pocket traverses a bottom of the gas key, which are sized to receive a width of the spring-loaded projection. The spring-loaded projection could have a round outer perimeter or a D-shaped outer perimeter. A location of the projection slot along a length of the gas key is such that the projection contacts a cam pocket in an inner wall of an upper receiver. In a second embodiment, a slide stop in a bottom of the gas key is used to push a projection into the cam pocket. Spring rates may be varied to increase or decrease the firing rate of the firearm. The return speed of the bolt carrier could also be modified by changing a distance between the projection pocket and a rear of the bolt.

Distal ends of each of the fastener pins are deformed to form a riveted connection between the cam race and the upper receiver. The cam race defines a slide face along which a cam pin of the firearm slides during a firing process, thereby increasing the durability of the firearm against undesired formation of defects within the interior sidewall of the upper receiver.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes a foldable firearm that collapses into a folded state under spring pressure. The foldable firearm may include a foldable grip assembly. The foldable grip assembly may include a foldable pistol grip, a foldable trigger assembly, a folding bar, and a foldable hand stop. The foldable grip assembly may fold into the top shell of the foldable firearm. The foldable firearm may also include an ambidextrous charging handle assembly that may include a bottom portion, a top portion, a guide bar, and two opposing charging handles. The charging handles may be pulled to unfold the foldable firearm, and/or butterflied such that pivoting one charging handle causes the other charging handle to pivot. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled rearwards to unfold the firearm. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled further rearwards to rack the slide of the foldable firearm.
