Abstract: A handgun comprised of a frame having a barrel with a muzzle end and a breech end. A slide is movable on the frame between one of a closed position and a blow-back position. A handgrip is pivotally mounted to the frame about an axis, wherein the handgrip is movable between a firing position and a storage position. A trigger guard is attached to the frame. The trigger guard is movable between a firing position and a storage position, wherein the trigger guard is collapsible relative to the frame.
Abstract: A handgun having a frame with a barrel. The barrel has a muzzle end and a breech end. A handgrip is mounted to the frame to pivot about an axis. The handgrip is movable between a firing position and a storage position. The axis is movable relative to the frame along a path extending in a direction of the barrel wherein the handgrip is movable along the length of the frame to the storage position wherein the handgrip is adjacent the frame.

Abstract: A muzzle-loading firearm having a barrel and a pivoting firing mechanism. The barrel has a breech plug, a pivoting junction axle. and a blocking axle, and the firing mechanism has a trigger, hammer, striker and notch. The firing mechanism is pivotally attached to the barrel at the pivoting junction axle and the blocking axle is movably aligned in the notch. When the firing mechanism is pivoted, it is guided by the blocking axle in the notch ensuring sufficient clearance between said firing mechanism for easy placement of a percussion cap.
Abstract: The Less Lethal (TM) police baton invention, which is capable of firing projectiles, is presented. The baton has a front barrel body, a rear breech body pivotally coupled to the front barrel body, a handle perpendicularly secured to the rear breech body, a locking mechanism adapted to lock the front barrel body to the rear breech body. It also has a firing mechanism positioned inside the rear breech body and adapted to trigger explosions of the projectiles. It has a safety trigger mechanism coupled to the firing mechanism, the trigger mechanism being adapted to be positioned horizontally for locking. The trigger can be unlocked and positioned vertically for triggering wherein a pulling stop of the firing mechanism is adapted to be urged forward by the trigger mechanism for triggering the firing mechanism.
Abstract: A slide action pistol including a frame; a barrel supported on said frame and having a bore on an axis of the barrel; a handgrip portion of the frame provided with a cavity therein for receiving a magazine; a firing assembly including a trigger, hammer and firing pin arranged in operative relationship; and, a slide having one end engaged with the barrel and an opposite end pivotally connected to the handgrip portion, the slide arranged to pivot upwardly and rearwardly when the pistol is fired.

Abstract: An embossed fluid flow field plate for electrochemical cells comprises two sheets of compressible, electrically conductive material. Each sheet has two oppositely facing major surfaces. At least one of the major surfaces has an embossed surface which has a fluid inlet formed therein. The embossed surface has at least one open-faced channel embossed therein extending from the fluid inlet for conducting pressurized fluid introduced at the fluid inlet. A metal sheet is interposed between each of the compressible sheets. The compressible, electrically conductive sheet preferably comprises graphite foil.

Abstract: The disclosed firearm comprises a stationary receiver or frame, a breech ck pivotally mounted at its lower end on the receiver and engaging a forward-facing abutment on the receiver in firing position, a barrel slidably mounted near its forward end on the receiver and pivotally connected at its rear end to the upper end of the breech block. Forward movement of the barrel to open the breech at the rear of the barrel bore during firing is prevented by the pivotal connection and the firing reaction on the breech block. The barrel can be moved forward after firing to move the rear end thereof forward and downward to open the breech. The firearm also includes a barrel latch automatically released by the hammer during firing, an extractor-ejector member actuated by the breech block during the opening of the breech, and a hammer-cocking means also actuated by the opening of the breech.
