Abstract: An ammunition compartment is located in the grip of a firearm's handle. The handle has a hinged door that opens to the compartment. The ammunition is mounted on a strip clip which slides into grooves in the inner walls of the compartment. The strip clip has a tab which extends outside the compartment when the door is open so that the ammunition can be quickly pulled from the compartment to load the firearm.
Abstract: A system is for evacuating cartridges, applied to a firearm 1. The firearm includes a breech 14, a firing chamber 12 in which the projectile that will come out through a barrel 13 is fired. The evacuation system includes an evacuation tray 2, adapted to receive the cartridge following deflagration of an ammunition, and a movement mechanism 3, adapted to move the tray 2. The movement mechanism 3 turns the evacuation tray 2 about an axis “X”, parallel to the axis of the barrel 13 of the firearm 1, in a preset and appropriately cadenced way, passing from a first position, where the cartridge is received, to a second position, where the cartridge is expelled by the expulsion mechanism 5, and vice versa.
Abstract: A lightweight weapon housing system is disclosed for a self-loading firearm. The weapon housing includes an outer and an inner housing. A wall structure in the weapon housing reinforces the magazine chamber and transmits the transverse forces arising in the magazine into an inner housing, which suffers any resulting deformation and which can be exchanged in a simple manner should deformation result.
Abstract: A cartridge feed arrangement for an apparatus operating by means of an explosive charge and a loader to feed the apparatus. The invention relates to a cartridge feed device for an apparatus operating by means of an explosive charge, of the type in which, after unlocking the breech (4), the barrel (2) can be pivoted with respect to the breech (4) around an axis parallel to that of the gun barrel so as to bring into alignment with the axis of the cartridge chamber (6) a passage (5) containing a line of cartridges (14).The cartridges (14) are arranged in parallel lines in an annular space (7) located on the periphery of the breech (4). One line of cartridges being in a position such that after unlocking the breech (4) and pivoting the barrel (2) with respect to it, said line is located in the axis of the cartridge chamber (6).
