Abstract: In an embodiment, the present disclosure relates to a method to enhance a non-surgical medical treatment, the method including applying a composition having an antifibrinolytic agent to an area of skin for non-surgical medical treatment, where the applying is at least one of before, during, and after the non-surgical medical treatment, beginning the non-surgical medical treatment to the area of skin, and continuing the non-surgical medical treatment until the non-surgical medical treatment is completed. In some embodiments, the antifibrinolytic agent is tranexamic acid at a concentration of about 20% (w/v).
