Abstract: The present invention relates to a film-coated tablet having a high chemical stability of an active ingredient, said film-coated tablet comprising: (a) a tablet core containing obeticholic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and (b) a coating layer, which is provided on the surface of the tablet core, containing a film base and being substantially free from any plasticizer or containing at least one kind of specific plasticizer.
Abstract: A method for metering active ingredient in powder form onto a predetermined area is characterized in that
the active ingredient is transferred as electrically charged powder to a roll with the opposite charge,
the active ingredient transferred to the roll is transferred to a two-dimensional substrate with an electric charge opposite to the active ingredient,
the active ingredient transferred to the substrate is fixed by means of a heat treatment.
Abstract: Coated powder is obtained by applying a material having a refractive index of 1.9 to 3.1 to powder having a refractive index of 1.3 to 1.8 as a core and further applying a material having a refractive index of 1.3 to 1.8 to the coated core. When this powder is used for cosmetics or paints, natural coloring can be accomplished without deteriorating lightness because a screening effect is not high.
Abstract: The invention provides a process for coating a branded pharmaceutical dosage form for the purpose of covering any embossed or printed matter or any colored coating by the application of an amount of a sugar based coating which is sufficient to obscure any identifying indicia without compromising the stability or releasability of the drug that is contained in the dosage form.
