The device effecting the method as claimed has a cement-sand fed system (11), a piston (3) arrnged in the pipeline (1) with an annular clearance (12) to distribute the mortar layer on the internal surface of the pipeline, a chamber (13) accommodating the flexible hose (5) and communicating therewith by a flowing medium feed system (15), said flowing medium serving as a means for feeding, turning out and pressing the flexible hose (5) to the mortar layer (4) formed on the surface of the pipeline.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 1986Date of Patent: August 16, 1988Assignee: Trest "Juzhvodoprovod"Inventors: Viktor V. Patent number: 4760878Abstract: A process for producing a heat pipe including the steps of treating the inner surface of a steel container with an aqueous solution of a vanadate with heating, and enclosing in the container a working liquid prepared by adding an alkalinizing pH adjusting agent to pure water and having an adjusted pH of 8 to 12. When the container inner surface is treated with the aqueous vanadate solution with heating, a protective layer covering the inner surface is formed. The working liquid, when in the range of 8 to 12 in pH, maintains the protective layer in a stable state over a prolonged period of time.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 1986Date of Patent: August 2, 1988Assignee: Showa Aluminum CorporationInventors: Koichiro Fukui, Yuichi Furukawa, Kazunari Noguchi

Patent number: 4759946Abstract: A method and an apparatus for interior coating of hollow bodies comprising a mandrel introducible into at least one tubular body, a coating arrangement on the mandrel for applying a coating medium to an interior of the tubular body and a heating mechanism on the mandrel and arranged so as to predominantly deliver heat directly from the mandrel into a surrounding area toward the tublular body. The heat-applying efficiency of burning in a coating medium can be improved by applying the heat from the interior at least predominantly directly to one of an interior area of the tubular body just before being coated and an interior area of the body already coated to burn in the coating according to the disclosed method.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 1988Date of Patent: July 26, 1988Inventor: Peter Ribnitz

Patent number: 4758639Abstract: A process for production of a vinyl polymer by suspension polymerization or emulsion polymerization of at least one kind of vinyl monomer in an aqueous medium is disclosed. In this process, the polymerization is carried out in a polymerizer, the inner wall surface and portions of the auxiliary equipment thereof which may come into contact with the monomer during polymerization having a surface roughness of not greater than 5 .mu.m and being previously coated with a scaling preventive comprising at least one selected from dyes, pigments and aromatic or heterocyclic compounds having at least 5 conjugated .pi. bonds. According to this process, scaling on the inner wall surface of a polymerizer, etc. during polymerization can be prevented effectively and surely.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 1987Date of Patent: July 19, 1988Assignee: Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shunichi Koyanagi, Hajime Kutamura, Toshihide Shimizu, Ichiro Kaneko

Patent number: 4731259Abstract: The descaling of surface of processing equipment, vessels and piping on which scale, such as that which occurs in the extraction of alumina from bauxites has formed. The surface is cleaned to ensure that it is entirely free of contaminants and then is coated with a suitable resin such as an epoxy resin which is cross linked and thermosetting. The coating may be applied in two or more layers using the same or a different resin. The final layer may be one which readily detaches from the base coating when subjected to a high pressure fluid blast.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 1986Date of Patent: March 15, 1988Assignee: Gardner Bros. & Perrott (W.A.) Patent number: RE32921Abstract: A method of powder coating the inside of tubular goods, such as oil field pipe and the like, by connecting one end of the pipe to a means for producing a flow of compressible gases therethrough. The other end of the pipe is open to atmospheric pressure. A valve means is connected upstream of the pipe between the inlet end thereof and a container for holding a single charge of plastic powder. The charge of powdered plastic is isolated upstream of the pipe inlet. The charge is of sufficient size to coat the entire inside peripheral wall surface of the pipe with a substantial uniform coating of plastic.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 1981Date of Patent: May 9, 1989Assignee: GCB, Inc.Inventor: Jack E.
