  • Patent number: 8137768
Abstract: The present invention provides a Christmas wreath, which applies a non-circular metal wire to connect bells, wherein additional positioning members are added between the adjacent bell groups for separation. The non-circular inner hole of the positioning member can obtain a refrained position between the positioning member and metal wire, and prevent arbitrary rotation of the positioning member. The outer rim of the positioning member includes at least one included angle, and formed into an inclined guiding surface to coordinate with the end. This enables the positioning member end to insert into the bell ring concave to obtain a refrained position relation between the positioning member and bell, preventing the bell from arbitrarily rotating. The present invention can truly maintain the pattern of connected bells through the mechanism of the positioning member for the bell and metal wire.

  • Patent number: 6260342
Abstract: A machine is provided for forming a decorative twisted spiral garland from at least one continuous ribbon web, and a pair of continuous wires. One or more ribbon webs are guided to the outside of a pair of elongated threaded rods which are respectively disposed on opposite sides of and generally parallel to a main axis. The rods form part of a loop frame which is rotated about the main axis to wind the ribbon webs around the rods in a series of continuous loops and draw the webs from supply reels, while the rods are simultaneously rotated about their own axes to advance the ribbon loops along the main axis. A wire supply rotates in synchronism with the loop frame, guiding a pair of wires into paths respectively on opposite sides of the ribbon loops and thence along the main axis between pinch rollers for pulling the wires longitudinally along the axis. The rotation of the wire supply twists the wires and the ribbon loops to form the garland.

By employing this construction, an ornament display system is realized which is quickly and easily mounted to a tree, whenever desired, or removed therefrom for display on any other surface. In the preferred embodiment, the ornament/display member incorporates interlock means formed on the support plate for removably affixing the ornament/display member to the support plate whenever desired. Furthermore, the ornament/display member also preferably incorporates a stowable hook or ring member cooperatively associated with the upper portion of the ornament/display member for enabling the ornament/display member to be affixed to a supporting branch or limb independently of the platform.

  • Patent number: 5392379
Abstract: An aroma generator has a toroidal incense container with a toroidal channel and cylindrical walls. A toroidal channel floor is extended in a plane perpendicular to an axis that is common to the cylindrical walls of the toroidal channel. A bulb-attachment wall having a central bulb orifice is extended inward radially at a design distance from a base of the toroidal incense container. A cover plate is held in a covering position over the toroidal channel by attachment appendages on a cylindrical attachment sleeve. At least one attachment appendage is extended outward radially from a distal end of the cylindrical attachment sleeve and positioned in at least one arcuate attachment channel in an outside surface of the inside cylindrical wall for attachment of the cover plate to the aroma generator. A plurality of spacer ridges are extended radially from the cover plate to provide aroma-discharge passages between the cover plate and top edges of the toroidal channel.

  • Patent number: 5312655
Abstract: The invention relates to a decoration and a method of making such decoration comprising a plurality of separate, artificial plant parts. The method is characterized by overlappingly connecting separate, juxtaposed first plant parts at a distance from a front edge of the respective plant part, and of overlappingly connecting a plurality of separate, mutually overlapping second plant parts to said first plant parts. As a result, an area of each of said first plant parts facing away from the front edge is covered, like the connection, by the overlapping portion of each of the second plant parts. The decoration is intended for use in the making of a wreath.

  • Patent number: 5235780
Abstract: An improved frame for supporting a living plant wreath is made of generally concentric rings stacked in two or three parallel planes interconnected by ribs with either a number of attached candle holders or spacer legs or both. Frames with generally concentric rings occupying three parallel planes have at least one upper ring, one lower ring and a pair of intermediate rings that are interconnected by ribs. Frames with generally concentric rings occupying two parallel planes consist of at least three rings, a pair of coplanar rings in combination with a ring in a second parallel plane, that are interconnected by ribs. The candle holders are coiled, spaced circumferentially along the frame and coupled to two other rings such that an inserted candle appears centrally located on the wreath but is concealed from sight on the wreath when the holder does not contain a candle.

Abstract: An electrically activated aromatic ornament (1, 9, 20, 28 and 29) has a wreath shaped structure in which an electrical heater (2) activates a volatile aromatic material (30) to cause incense gases to be exhausted through selective orifices (22 and 24) proximate decorative objects. Electrical power can be provided through such limited power electrical conductors as Christmas tree light cords (5 and 6) for hanging small sizes of this aromatic ornament on Christmas trees or on other fragile objects. Electrical power can be provided also through standard extension cords (31 and 32) for larger sizes to be hung on larger and more sturdy structures. Decorative items such as natural leaves, flowers, ribbons and artificial plants can be attached to some embodiments of this invention.

Abstract: A decorative garland. A product and method of manufacture of garland includes a web having transversely cut center and border sections, and the center section as longer length transverse cuts and the border sections have shorter length transverse cuts. The cut film web is folded and then stuffed using a wire spine to hold a high density of cut film web. The stuffed web is then twisted causing formation of a helically rotated array of loops of the longer length transverse cut sections, and a tinsel-like material is positioned nearest the wire spine formed from the shorter length transverse cut sections of the web.
