  • Patent number: 11904373
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the modification of a deep-drawing sheet blank (P) for electric resistance heating. Generally, the modified sheet blank comprises slits (Z) being made in the edges of the blank (P) transversely to the electric current flow and oriented towards the perimeter of the forming zone (T). The distances between the ends of the slits (Z) and the forming zone (T) perimeter may be equal. The ends of the slits (Z) oriented towards the forming zone perimeter (T) may also be rounded.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to dielectric elastomeric composites that include a retainable processing membrane, an elastomer material, and an electrically conductive material. The elastomer layer may be partially imbibed into the retainable processing membrane. The retainable processing membrane may be porous. The retainable processing membrane is compacted in the transverse direction, machine direction, or in both directions prior to the application of an elastomer material and an electrically conductive material. The compaction of the retainable processing membrane may form structured folds or folded fibrils in the membrane, giving the retainable processing membrane a low modulus and flexibility. In some embodiments, the dielectric composites are positioned in a stacked configuration. Alternatively, the dielectric elastomeric composites may have a wound configuration. The dielectric composites have a total thickness less than about 170 ?m.

Abstract: The ceiling tile, in one embodiment of the invention, is a laminate of a rigid core layer, such as gypsum, having one surface covered by a display layer of plastic sheet material. An opposite surface of the core layer is covered by a layer of light reflective material. The design layer has a design surface that is viewable when the tile is installed in a ceiling, and the light reflective layer has an exposed light reflective surface. Both the design layer and the light reflective layer form leak tight seals on the opposite surfaces of the rigid core layer. The entire peripheral edge of the tile laminate and marginal portions of the design surface and light reflective surface are covered by a plastic leak tight tape that forms a gas tight seal at the peripheral edge of the tile laminate.

    Publication number: 20130288068
Abstract: The WS2 is made of a flexible rust resistant galvanized sheet metal, or other material that can be strong and flexible, that is preformed and bent to it permanent shape, which is a rectangular shape with four sides, one of which has a flap which has an outward fold and an adjacent side which has an inward fold. This allows user to hook together the two open sides. The flap and adjacent side have opposite folds that are designed to lock together making WS2 a secure one piece unit. The WS2 can be flexed open and placed around a wooden post, then to, on its own, snaps shut protecting the post from weed eater damage. There is no folding or unfolding needed. No screws or nails are needed to hold WS2 in place, because of WS2 self locking folds.
