  • Patent number: 11867933
Abstract: A display is provided with a periodic structure that is dielectric and includes a support and a plurality of periodic elements. A plurality of periodic elements is arranged on a reference plane in a two-dimensional lattice form having a sub-wavelength period and are either convexities projected or concavities recessed in the reference plane. A metal layer is disposed on a surface of the periodic structure. The surface corresponds to a plane including a region of the reference plane surrounding the individual periodic elements and surfaces of the periodic elements. The metal layer's profile conforms to a surface profile of the periodic structure. The plurality of periodic elements have an interval therebetween in a first direction in which the plurality of periodic elements are arranged in a two-dimensional lattice form. The interval is different from an interval between the periodic elements in a second direction intersecting the first direction.

Abstract: A method for coating a component for use in a semiconductor chamber for plasma etching includes providing the component and loading the component in a deposition chamber. A pressure in the deposition chamber is reduced to below atmospheric pressure. A coating is deposited on the component by spraying an aerosol comprising a suspension of a first type of metal oxide nanoparticle and a second type of metal oxide nanoparticle onto the component at approximately room temperature.

  • Patent number: 8895133
Abstract: A reinforcing underlayment including dry uniform particles evenly applied to a wet bonding material layer on a surface of a substrate. The substrate, including the layers, is then cured to harden the one or more of the layers. A final coating or topcoat is applied to the cured surface of the substrate. The dry particles are evenly distributed onto the bonding material layer creating a uniform surface for subsequent coatings. The dry particles increase the strength of the liquid coatings increasing solid particle density within the coating system and thereby imparting properties not available for the liquid coatings. The present invention enables a user to easily introduce very heavy, dense, strong particles into a liquid coating and allows the user to apply very dense, heavy particles into and onto a wet bonding material layer followed by a subsequent wet topcoat layer which is cured as one contiguous material with reinforcement and underlayment strengthening coming from the added, dry particles.

Abstract: The invention provides novel wood-like composite materials and methods for preparation thereof. The wood-like composite materials can be readily produced from widely available, low cost precursor materials by a production process that involves casting in a mold that is suitable for large-scale production. The precursor materials include calcium silicate, for example, wollastonite, and particulate filler materials which comprise silicon dioxide-rich materials such as quartz, mica, feldspar, sand and glass. Additives can include calcium carbonate-rich and magnesium carbonate-rich materials. Various additives can be used to fine-tune the physical appearance and mechanical properties of the composite material, such as colorants such as particles of colored materials, such as, and pigments (e.g., black iron oxide, cobalt oxide and chromium oxide).
