  • Patent number: 7687135
Abstract: The top label is equipped with an inscription in the form of a barcode and a model number. A recess, which continues in two channels also implemented in the bottom label, is provided in the bottom label where the gas exchange opening is located when the label is used as intended. The top label covers the channel system. The channels discharge into the surroundings at the label edge, so that two gas passage openings are defined by the intersection region between label contour and the contours of the channel system. Liquid may drain out of the channel system in many different spatial orientations of the housing which the label is stuck onto as intended. A gas permeable membrane may advantageously be positioned in the region of the recess and extending somewhat over it. The membrane may also extend over the entire bottom of the label.

Identification marks each having sensitivity adjustment for the reading sensor and specific mark information are printed on a sheet of release coated paper. The sensitivity adjustment for the reading sensor is performed by utilizing information on a density acquired by reading the identification mark. By combining pieces of density information on a plurality of marks that constitutes the identification mark, mark information is generated. This mark information is checked against saved mark information. The object of this invention is to provide a transfer film that can be applied stably to the transfer process without any trouble. The transfer film of this invention comprises a substrate to be peeled off during the transfer process and a transferred layer to be transferred to an article to be decorated, both of which are laminated directly to each other in a peelable manner by an extrusion laminating process without requiring any release layer.

Abstract: A form that incorporates either a label or card such that the form can be reliably printed on by the end user and manufactured less expensively. The integrated label form includes a top printable substrate and a liner substrate mated together by an adhesive. The top printable substrate serves at least partially as removable portions capable of being reapplied. Weakened lines of substrate may be provided to define removable portions on the top printable substrate. The form also may include a similar printable substrate mated to the other side of the liner by adhesive. Weakened lines of substrate also may formed in the second substrate to define removable portions. The integrated card form includes a printable substrate and a first and second laminate mated to the substrate and together by an adhesive. Weakened lines of substrate and first laminate define an integrated removable portion capable of being held in the form by the second laminate and easily removed manually when desired.

Abstract: An adhesive cord cover for enveloping a cord, such as an electrical cord or chandelier chain. The adhesive cord cover is formed from a lengthwise strip of fabric. A pressure sensitive adhesive is attached to the fabric strip, preferably along a first lengthwise edge. The pressure sensitive adhesive is positioned and configured to allow a fastening side of the pressure sensitive adhesive to be selectively adhered to the lengthwise strip of fabric to thereby form a tubular configuration for enveloping a cord. The pressure sensitive adhesive is preferably an adhesive transfer tape. The transfer tape preferably has a removable liner on the fastening side. The removable liner assists in preserving the adhesive properties of the pressure sensitive adhesive prior to use. The pressure sensitive adhesive transfer tape is preferably a continuous strip that extends substantially along the entire length of the piece of fabric.
