Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for selectively printing an image onto a substrate. The process comprises electrophotographically printing a first ink composition onto selected areas of a substrate. The process also comprises applying a primer over at least the unprinted areas of the substrate. A second ink composition is printed onto the primer and the first ink composition is removed from the selected areas of the substrate. The first ink composition is a transparent electrophotographic ink composition.
Abstract: Base soluble polymer comprising at least one sulfonyl group where at least one carbon atom at ?-position and/or ?-position and/or ?-position with respect to the sulfonyl group has a hydroxyl group, where the hydroxyl group is protected or unprotected are described.
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic photoconductor for liquid development, having high resistance to a carrier solvent for use in a liquid developing method and having practically high sensitivity, an image-forming apparatus including the photoconductor, and an image forming method. To achieve this object, the present invention provides an electrophotographic photoconductor for liquid development including a support, and a photosensitive layer on or above the support, wherein the photosensitive layer includes a charge-generating material, a charge-transporting material, and an acceptor compound, and the charge-transporting material includes a charge-transporting polymer having a specified structure.
