Abstract: Gas burner for oven, or grill, of the type comprising at least one Venturi tube (16), for forming the fuel mixture of primary air-gas, having at least one zone with a reduced section followed by a zone with a diverging section, at least one distribution chamber (17) of the fuel mixture, placed downstream the zone with a diverging section of the Venturi tube (16), and a plurality of flame openings (19) for the outflow of the fuel mixture, obtained within such a distribution chamber (17), or in fluidic communication with the latter, as well at least one ignition hole (13) for igniting the burner. Advantageously the latter comprises at least one diversion duct (12) for part of the flow of the fuel mixture, exhibiting its own inlet section obtained in a sector downstream the zone with a reduced section of the Venturi tube (16), and its own outlet section placed at the afore said ignition hole (13).
Abstract: A gas burner assembly for an oven appliance is provided. The gas burner assembly includes a pair of burner tubes. A runner tube extends between and can fluidly connect the burner tubes of the pair of burner tubes. The runner tube can assist with carrying flames between the burner tubes of the pair of burner tubes.

Abstract: A flame device including a lift mechanism and can lift a flame to a predetermined height includes a base, a cover, and a lift mechanism. The base includes a chamber including an opening. The cover is movably engaged with the base and selectively closes the opening. The lift mechanism includes a supporting member adapted for bearing and lifting a fuel container in the chamber to different heights. The lift mechanism is operably movable in a first direction including the supporting member being moved up from a lower height to the predetermined height and in a second direction including the supporting member being moved down from the predetermined height to the lower height.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a burner for increasing the temperature of a gas stream, such as an exhaust gas stream, to burn particulate matter and unburnt hydrocarbons within the exhaust gas. As well, by heating or increasing the temperature of the gas stream and combustion products exiting the burner, the gas stream is brought into a condition more suitable for additional treatment to further reduce exhaust gas emissions from the engine. The device includes an outer housing and a series of combustion chambers mounted within the outer housing for increasing and further developing combustion of the incoming gases within the series of combustion chambers. A primary application for the device is for use with diesel engines to burn particulate matter and unburnt hydrocarbons within the diesel emissions and/or act as a heat source for activating diesel particulate filters and/or other catalytic components or devices.

Abstract: To provide a tightly covered lighter protected from entering of sand, dust or the like into an internal combustion mechanism or the like in a lighter body, and can be used even in river, sea, rain, or highland, a windshield formed on a top of the lighter body, an ignition operator formed adjacently to the windshield, and a dome-shaped cap covering tops of the ignition operator and the windshield in an openable and closable manner are provided. A cover covers a top and/or a bottom of the lighter body in a watertight or airtight manner, and a clip is protrusively arranged on the cover or the lighter body.
Abstract: A burner for use with fireplace gas logs includes a burner pan having a gas burner extending across it. A flame control plate is located in the burner pan above the burner. The flame control plate has an opening located in it which is partially covered by a damper. The damper can be moved to cover various portions of the opening which allows directing the burner flame to give the desired effect in the fireplace logs. By installing the burner assembly in a particular manner the fireplace logs can be made to look substantially like real burning logs.
Abstract: A gas supply coupling for a water heater incorporating a shield to close the opening to the combustion chamber. The coupling includes a supply tube, a connector extending through the shield and a gas supply line detachably connected to the connector. The connector is staked to the shield to prevent disassembly requiring that the entire coupling be removed from the combustion chamber prior to disassembly. The gas supply line includes a threaded fastener having a unique exterior configuration requiring a specialized tool for separation from the connector.
Abstract: A pilot burner apparatus for use with gas-fired appliances, such as gas-fired water heaters, is provided with a structure configured for the early detection, and response to, the presence of flammable vapor in the atmosphere ambient to the appliance. Combustion air for the pilot burner is taken from that region of the ambient atmosphere, most likely to become contaminated with flammable vapor first. One or more flame characteristics of the pilot burner flame are monitored, and if the flame characteristics depart from a predetermined range of parameters, gas flow to the pilot and main burner(s) of the appliance are cut off. The sensitivity of the pilot burner is such that flammable vapors are detected before the concentration of flammable vapors car rise to the lower flammability limit of the anticipated flammable vapor(s).

Abstract: The assembly which produces the flame is made up of a strip of conductive material, narrowed over an intermediate portion lengthwise, laminated onto a strip of combustible material such as cardboard, folded lengthwise over the strip such that the narrowed portion of the conductive strip is in a notch at one end of the combustible strip. The notched end of the combustible strip is saturated with a highly combustible material such as candle wax. Applying electrical power to the ends of the conductive strip causes the narrowed section to glow and ignite the highly combustible material and thereby the end of the combustible strip. This flame producing assembly is termed a flamestrip. The flamestrips are disposable. The flame producer includes a cassette which holds a plurality of flame strips and enables dispensing them one by one. The cassette may be adapted for attachment to a flashlight so that the power to produce the flame is drawn from the flashlight batteries.
Abstract: The present invention provides an inner door for a water heater that is easily slidably mounted on the inside of a heating chamber, without hinges, and that will not fall off and is difficult to remove and which tightly fits against the side wall of the combustion chamber to prevent flame spillage and rollout while also acting as a radiation shield.
