Abstract: Includes a low flow-rate region (R2) that is disposed on an upstream side of a combustion region (R1) within a second pipe (2), and that has a relatively slow flow-rate of combustion gas (G1) within the second pipe, and a flame kernel formation unit (3a) is disposed in the low flow-rate region.
Abstract: A burner set adaptable to standard commercial ovens that allows for the quick change-out of burners. Sockets, threaded on one end and open on the other end, are installed in existing threaded couplings in communication with a burner manifold. Each socket has a burner guide attached to the open end and receives a burner in the open end. The burners are secured to the oven by a burner support with a pivotally attached gate.

Abstract: The invention is drawn to a nozzle device for gas torches which allows interactive, real-time control of thermoplastic processing and a method of using this device. The device consists of a movable nozzle slide that it attached to the tip of the torch. The nozzle slide can be moved in an upward or downward direction, thereby changing the amount of heat contacting the material.

Abstract: An attachment for a recreational vehicle of a type having a gas-fired hot water heater inside and having an exterior skin therearound. The hot water heater includes a burner and a vent for permitting outside air to communicate with the burner of the hot water heater. A rigid wind guard is operatively and removably attached to one side of the vent on the outside of the recreational vehicle for preventing wind from blowing out the burner when such burner is operating.
Abstract: A device associated with a gas burner of an absorption refrigerating apparatus that ensures the lighting of the gas burner without the requirements of special knowledge and ability. The device includes a burner housing in a sealed system having a part that is movable against the action of a spring in order to establish communication between the normally closed combustion system and the atmosphere.
