  • Patent number: 12056411
Abstract: A method, a processing unit, a non-transitory computer-readable medium for providing recommendations in content rendering environment with presenter and attendees. For providing the recommendations, initially, user data is received for content rendering environment. The user data relates to the attendees. Further, the recommendations to the presenter are generated based on the user data. The recommendations are used to initiate interaction in the content rendering environment between the presenter and at least one selected attendee amongst the one or more attendees. The recommendations are provided to the presenter during rendering of the content to the one or more attendees. By the proposed system and method, the interaction between the presenter and the attendees may be enhanced and customized to be as per their preferences.

Abstract: Two parties have three distinct viewpoints of their relationship, from which assumptions emerge and working hypotheses about how to manage their relationship. The system, device, and method described herein include using computer system mediated learning tool for understanding face-to-face human interactions. The process includes using the learning tool in reviewing an audio-video recording of a face-to-face interaction with one or more persons, whereby one or more of the participants use the learning tool to privately describe their separate viewpoints of the interaction. The participants use the learning tool to receive immediate feedback for analysis, to compare viewpoints, to examine how the viewpoints are arrived, and to explore the viewpoints' consequences for the participants' relationship.

  • Publication number: 20080090219
Abstract: A method for teaching a practical skill to a plurality of learners at geographically separate locations includes receiving, for each learner, a video feed generated by a camera at the learner's location. The video feed depicts at least an subject on which the learner is demonstrating the practical skill. The teacher simultaneously displays the video feeds for the plurality of learners on a display screen at a location of the teacher. One or more learners are allowed to submit questions to the teacher that are not immediately conveyed to the other learners. The teacher is allowed to select one of the learners having a question for individualized instruction, and to establish a private communication channel between the teacher and the selected learner.

  • Patent number: 6259889
Abstract: A method for behavior modification and memory enhancement utilizing a central processing unit, comprising compiling a symbolic profile of a subject participant, interpreting the subject participant's stored symbolic constructs, instructing the subject participant using virtual reality means, evaluating and recording physiological parameters of the participant and delivering symbolic containers to the participant; and delivering symbolic prescriptions to the subject participant for behavior modification and memory enhancement. The methodology allows for accessing and recognition of stored memory symbolic constructs by isolating symbolic quests embodied within multiple multimedia virtual reality events, and delivering the multimedia virtual reality events to a user by artificial intelligence and multi-media means, applying the symbolic constructs to the user.

  • Patent number: 5914914
Abstract: A method and apparatus for retrieving and presenting visual and audible information to an individual. Audio source signals from each channel of a stereophonic audio source are processed by a microcontroller-controlled circuit that also receives commands from a programmer. The commands from the programmer cause the generation of pulsed control signals for each channel. The pulsed control signals continuously contain only low audio frequencies. The audio source signals are processed so that their spectral frequencies are translated above the low audio frequency range of the pulsed control signals and inverted. The pulsed control signals for each channel are then added to the corresponding processed audio source signals to produce two combined audio signals. The combined audio signals are then recorded on a compact disc which may be read.

The pulsed control signals and processed audio source signals are separated by filtering and the processed audio source signals are reprocessed to recreate the original audio source signals.

  • Patent number: 4482328
Abstract: An improved audio-visual apparatus for projecting visual information segments carried by a transparency holder in an audio-visual cartridge, and for reproducing corresponding narrative and control information recorded on a movable storage medium carried by the cartridge. The apparatus includes an optical projector for projecting a selected one of the visual information segments onto a screen and a first drive mechanism for supporting the holder and selectively driving it to align specified visual segments with the optical projector. A second drive mechanism supporting the storage medium and selectively moving it independently of the holder to permit reproduction of recorded information is provided, and a playback device is mounted in operative relationship with the storage medium to produce signals corresponding to the stored information.
