In this arrangement, the SIM card reader is arranged on a rocker which is suspended to pivot between two end positions in a slot of a housing, wherein the SIM card reader is covered by a cover, wherein the cover closes off the slot in the first end position of the rocker and wherein the cover can be displaced against a restoring mechanism in the direction of insertion of the SIM card in the second end position of the rocker.

When the curved bottom surface loosens due to vibrations of the electric card, the smooth bottom surface of the locking portion presses and locks the electric card firmly. Therefore, the locking effect is increased, and the electric card is prevented from loosening and bounding upwardly.

    Abstract: The invention provides a card connection apparatus and its applications, wherein the card connection apparatus includes a shell, an insulator housing and a plurality of metal terminal positioned inside the insulator housing. Paired pivot bearings are set up on the nook of the lateral wall of the insulator housing, and the end of the pivot bearing joints a resistive cylinder having a bigger internal diameter than that of one of the pivot bearings. The shell is used to seal the insulator housing, wherein at least one holding portion is provided on the edge of the shell for holding the shell, and a plurality of long pivot slits are opened on the lateral wall of the shell at the same side of the holding portion in order to provide a passage for the resistive cylinder. Moreover, an L-shaped bending portion is further established at the end of the long pivot slit for hooking the resistive cylinder.

    Abstract: The edge card connector provides communication between a daughterboard and a printed wiring board. The edge card connector is mounted to a printed wiring board and provides a slot which is angled relative to the printed wiring board. Upper terminals extend from an upper wall of the slot to the printed wiring board and lower terminals extend from a lower wall of the slot to provide communication between the daughterboard and the printed wiring board. In order to provide a low profile daughterboard-connector combination, portions of the connector housing below the plane of the slot have been minimized.
